Bragging is never good

Bragging is never good

On the, technically, second day of Aki's new life, he found the exit of the cave entrance and a portal to hell!

On a serious note, he did find the end of the goblin cave system, the thing is that he is in the underdark.

That place full of shadowy, venomous and poisonous bitches that either worship strange ass gods or go directly to the idea of enslaving their male counterpart, which, really, me being a male isn't really the problem I have with them. I wouldn't mind cooking and cleaning, I'm a narrator raised by plenty of woman with a strong will that mostly don't listen, frankly a spa… a spa would do well for them.

Anyway, drows, feminists with some of the weirdest cultural shit I've ever seen outside of humanity.

You're elves, for hell sake, try being a little smarter! *groans*

Oh, yeah, there's some other shit around too isn't there? Arachnes, some dwarf breeds, human scum, runaway demons, whatever those tentacle things are, that one chained bird, the soul of your granny in your past life, whatever's edgy enough gets to make a cut.

"Oh, a slime. Shame it's not poisonous. Could use some mass produced poison. Well, since it's not poisonous let's go back gobu, there's this thing called jelly that you can make with slime and some fruit and sugar, but it will take me some try overs before I get it right." Aki said while using his partially possessed goblin.

"Really sir!? I sure feel lucky today! Something with fruit can't be bad, so I am looking forward to it. By the way sir, it's actually rarer to find these normal slimes around here." Explained said goblin.

He was a normal boy, only a few months old, barely an adult by goblin standards. He was the damn best at running they had though. And no, his actual name isn't Gobu, everyone calls him that because he has a forgettable face.

Short black hair and eyes, a square face, normal nose and slightly rounded ears.

The first thing Aki thought when meeting the boy was that he either had terrible luck in the genetics lottery or was an Mc from some novel.

He tried his best to test him and to see his soul, but he received the damn most normal answers of being looked strange at, fucking anyone pretty and living till he dies as answers to his philosophical questions.

His conclusions were: 1 He is not an Reincarnated person. 2 He did not unlock his memories yet because he didn't pass through any sort of physical trauma, or 3 He is a damn beast in hiding and will try to act like some bitchy chinese or some dense jap with revenge issues the moment he thinks there isn't anyone paying notice.

All conclusions led to one result: Let's treat this guy well as a precaution.

And so he was chosen to be the pseudo dungeon avatar, someone possessed by one of his little ghosts, which Aki was currently possessing so it could come out of his influence because it fullfiled some damn expecific conditions to liberate the thing from his territory and had the least cost.

"It's to be expected, after all there are so many acid and poison pits that they should evolve or die quite easily." Aki commented.

"Uh." nonchalantly said the goblin.

"What's with that answer, did they already teach you how slides evolve on that alchemy course or something?" Aki said in yet another test.

"Teacher Tuipo did." He replied with a small twitch that would be almost unnoticeable if you are not paying special attention.

'Boy, it's ten o clock, you don't have any excuse to have one of those. Is your teacher that hot or are you that much of a virgin? Is that what you call being in position soldier?... ' And some other dirty jokes came to his mind, but he refrained. 'Doesn't mean much. He could just be a virgin by nature, assexual, mourning and having difficulties, or even used to cultivate a Dao or technique that required that kind of purity. Or be a girl and not know so well how to handle a man's body. Doesn't matter.'

"Boy, run, but carry the slime, there is something I can only call a rhinoceros fucking a spider coming our way. Wait, no, it is just a spider which has a very strange and movable carapace with a horn. Some wolves are running behind it, so it may seem like you're safe, but some things like to hunt for sport, sadism, secure food for preservation if they have a way, or just plain old not leaving witnesses." Said Aki in a very straight and even voice.

It was truthfully funny to him how the boy was running in despair that turned more profound as he narrated, but it was definitely helping with his speed and survival chance.

"Tsu-yan, I made jelly!" Aki said while summoning some by her side.

After burning his feet on a random acid poll, Gobu successfully returned to the goblin cave system and started sleeping like a log right after. Aki called the nearest goblin and had then transport the slime and Gobu.

Aki took around half an hour and thirteen failed experiments to get the recipe right. At least the goblins lived near an underground water source, so it was quite simple to get that, but they were apparently unable to cultivate the fruits, which were bought through commerce with nearby tribes.

Now they could though.

"Wait, this is a human desert that needs sugar, how did you do it?" She asked, not having eaten anything sweet in five years. Sugar didn't come easily even for nobility in the underdark.

"No, even if you ask me where, you guys have tons of beet, and I know the process to turn it to sugar." Because he hoped to someday be isekai-ed and use it to get rich or give sweets to woman, is the rest of the phrase.

"You mean the thing goblins are called cattle for eating?" said the surprised hob while thinking of all the new possibilities.

"Didn't know that, but probably yes.  Anyway, I can do white sugar with simple fire and water magic control. It was actually harder to find out what would taste good with it since I don't know how to replicate taste buds in dungeon flesh and I…"

This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.

"Wait, did you just say fire and water magic? Did you learn 2 attributes in one day?!" Ok, now she was baffled.

"Yeah, I am a transmigators, we either have shit talent or too much for our own good." He explained without being bothered by the interruption.

"Are you serious!?"

"Course not, my talent is just medium in all four base elements. The interface says that at least. Haven't tried any others and it only says anything bout it after I use the element though. I just meditated about how I really wished to use the element and moved my mana. The moment I did so my mana manipulation and sense shot to five. Also gained a level. Dungeon cores seem to really have it easy." He explained with a smug face that transcended the physical realm.

"Hey Aki, just out of curiosity, what is the level of your genius and meditative title?" Asked the shocked woman with a hand to her temple.

"2 and 4. The genius one leveled when I did magic. Got elemental magic by the way." He said with curiosity to what that would mean.

"That's 816% faster than normal if you count comprehension in the multiplying. Haaa… you're so close to the ten times bonus of an actual genius that it is scary." She said with a sigh.

"Is that so? Then how's your best skill?" He asked to compare.

"Around 265%. Though my race helps with a 50% bonus to weapon skills. Obviously, different categories got different percentage milestones. Now, if I remember right, dungeons should have a bonus to whatever's near them or something, but they don't really get titles from the civilized side, more like, Home of swords, home of magic, things that would strengthen their monsters and traps. That's why it's surprising to see you, a newborn dungeon, with individual titles."

"So you are also at an almost genius level, I see. Then, if I get a title that can boost your weapon XP acquisition by 35%, than you will get a power up for your next evolution. Good to know I should also focus on weaponry. Ima gonna go and try to unlock weaponsmithing then. Do tell me how the jelly was!" He said and metaphorically left.

"Wait!"

"The level up allowed me get pretty far from my core already, no need to shout. What is it sweety?" He said with some laugh in his voice.

"*Cough* Sorry" said the embarrassed woman "I just wanted to ask if it is really ok to let me have this. We could sell it for plenty of resources so…" She tried to say, but was interrupted by his deep laughter and got a little red.

"Dear, that was hilarious. I've only told you, Gobu and my favorite couple bout this, and that is simply because I know you won't tell a soul, neither will the chieftain or huntress. Gobu is easy enough to buy with more sweets, but what do you think would happen if someone with a big enough army hear about it? They would come here and try to use me after slaughtering or enslaving your goblins. No, we cannot sell luxury items till we have enough power or our potential buyers won't consider paying, and even them we better be careful. Believe me when I say I know more of commerce then you, ok? Economy is one of the actual few things I have a talent for." He said and summoned a fae fire to gently touch her head before giggling.

It took the woman a moment to notice that he meant to either gently hit her head or kiss her forehead. She had a feeling it was the latter.

Back to his core room, Aki decided to summon a skeleton to mine his diamonds. He'd found a human one in a rat alcove, but had no idea how the rats got it there.

When spawned, the skeleton immediately turned to an undead, but it was so absurdly weak it dislocated its joints every time it tried to swing the pickaxe given by the goblins.

"Welp, necromancy training it is."

'DEATH. KILLING. DARKNESS. LONELINESS. UNDEATH. DARKNESS.'

Trying to summon all his understanding and feelings towards the subject of necromancy, Aki willed the mana in him towards the skeleton with the before mentioned intent, but failed in half of them and only just infused another aspect of darkness and succeeded only the minimum in strengthening the skeleton.

By the bright side, it was his first try and the effects would be permanent. Any upstart necromancer would fly into a fit of rage knowing something like this.

Even if his race gives him great control over mana, talent really makes a difference.

'Well, that's 10% more affinity to elemental magic, so I do wonder what it is the rule to get it up.' Thought Aki as he read the new pops up from the system.

Shrugging mentally he gave up for the moment, ordering his skeleton to try mining again.

Without showing any sign of suddenly developing intelligence, the pile of bones started mining without difficulty.

'Well now, to find iron!' He said with fake enthusiasm and put on the proverbial miner cap.
