Given how it works, the death knight could shrug off any attacks that don't kill it off in one go. What's more, it adapts to those attacks, giving it some kind of resistance. Its stats are also increased each time a fatal attack is survived.

Kim Jaehyun carefully tread the flurry of attacks coming his way as he inches closer and closer.

As he closed the distance between them, he began to engage the death knight in hand-to-hand combat as he disarmed it.

As he uttered those words, flame began to appear, blasting through the death knight's torso and forming a crown of flame and smoke scattered throughout the hall.

*Huff* *huff* Was that enough to deal with the death knight?

As he peered through the smoke, he saw a silhouette walking out of it.

As it marched, its crumbling body began to regenerate, and it let out a gut-wrenching screech and laughter as if to play with its prey.

Jaehyun began to tremble as his terror took over his rationality and composure. His crimson eye shook as he despaired upon gazing at his opponent.
