Immortal Me
I,Practically, am immortal.
Ugh, yeah you must be thinking ‘I skipped lots of important stuff' but believe me it’s nothing interesting to be told but let me go through the uncovered parts on surface that happened in last 5 years since my parents passed away. ( I’m almost 16 )
So the thing is . . . . There is a lady with white hairs who looks as if she is middle aged but . . . The thing is . . . . She is my grandma.
When I first time heard it from her I took it as a jock but then she explained me the spiritual things. She is an exorcist by the way, an actual one.
She suffers from the curse of immortal youngness as she says. She looks like a lady in her 30s.
In movies or Anime exorcist are something like priest right? In reality exorcist kind of, you know, defeat ghosts and descend them to the heavens. I still don’t know if hell exists or if I should believe her but I actually can see the Ghosts or spiritual being whatever since last 5 years.
Look, all the matter in this world has what we could call Spiritual Energy ( In game I heard it as Mana but it’s really something like that ).
To be surprising enough, she says ugh, I have no spiritual energy in my body which is probably impossible as what she told earlier.
She told even a dead body has SP ( Spiritual energy ) but I don’t.
I . . . . Don’t know if I should be considered dead or alive.
Since then grandma has been researching on it like a lunatic.
How I am immortal then?
I . . . . Still don’t have that answer with me actually.
It made sense to think it like if I don’t have SP I kind of don’t exist. There is no topic of life and death for those who don’t exist right? But grandma told it doesn’t make any sense. Well it kind of doesn’t actually. How am I here if I don’t exist?
By immortal you could say I regenerate rather fast. Grandma told it’s ugh . . . . 20× faster than any human. Maybe I unknowingly left my humanity behind.
For the time being grandma told me that I have something that humans cannot define as SP but something else. I don’t know if normal human knows anything about SP but grandma knows more then me!
I currently am helping grandma as an exorcist but it kind of feels as if I am a bait to lure Sprits out. Sprits somewhat feels attracted towards me.
I attract Sprits not girls!
Guess I would date a evil sprit with world domination plan in future.
My High school–
“ Oni-Chan?! Oni-Chan!! Open the– “
“ What’s the matter Nino? “
I flew open the door and heard a loud thud sound.
“ Nino . . . . What are you doing in the floor? “
“ It’s because of your door!! “
I gave Nino a first aid. Her head was swelling red which felt rather funny. I could not help it and busted out in laughter. I got a nice jab from Nino right after that.
Nino is my sister. Grandma adopted her and she lives with us. She is rather hardworking sister unlike me.
I applied a bandage on her forehead then covered it with her bangs.
She got a huge red brush on her forehead but she was claiming to be absolutely fine.
“ Here . . . . done! “
She was Pouting for some alien reason unknown to human kind.
“ T-Thank you but I could have done it myself . . . . “
Isn’t it a little late to tell that?
Just in a micro second She immediately caught my hands and . . . . Handed me a pair of list.
“ What’s . . . . This? “
“ List for ingredients for today’s Hot pot along with a new pot, spatula and an electric stove with solar charging feature.”
“ Ugh, say again? “
“ Oni-Chan my head hurts you know. “
“ I have to buy these things in list?! “
“ Isn’t that the reason we make list? “
I agree it was a rather stupid question to ask.
“ How can I bring these many things?! But firstly . . . . Why hot pot out of sudden? “

Nino started pushing me out of my room.

I made a valid point this time but was not fortunate enough to get her reply.
“ How . . . . Will I bring a pot, spatula and a solar electric stove along with all these groceries?! “

I reached kitchen with the pair of lists on my hand.
“ Hua? Oghh, Lugh! Coum inscid! “
“ I don’t think you should talk with you mouth full. “

I explained grandma everything as if Nino is the antagonist and I a victim which I was.
“ Nino is slacking again? “
Grandma took a deep sigh and touched her neck side wise.
“ She was such a hard working child. I don’t know what happened to her. “
“ Probably the laziness of teenage. “
Grandma handed a nice amount of money in my hand.
“ Buy them fast. Guests must be arriving soon. “
“ Grandma . . . . Can I use some of– “
“ Yes, sure, sure. P*rn magazines are surely popular among teenagers now days. “
“ I-I am going to buy a game! “
“ It was a jock, Lugh. “

But who gives money to their grandson to buy p*rn magazines? Probably my Grandma.

I exclaimed so Nino would know I am doing her shares of work.

She yelled but didn’t came out side.
Strangely enough I was able to here some footsteps far behind me reaching closer.

It was just grandma.
She rushed towards me and held my hands.
Not again!
“ Keep this paper doll with you. “
The paper doll was thin as a piece of paper with a black rope tighten in it.
“ Ugh . . . . What is this for? “
“ It’s keeps Sprits away from you. “
“ That’s useful! “
“ Wear this gloves too. “
“ Does this gloves makes me stronger? “
“ Lugh, you are a kidder! “
I was serious though.
“ This gloves is an artifact with a certain amount of SP in it. “
“ And . . . . What will I do of that SP? “
“ Well . . . . Just go already! The guest are coming! “
I was getting pushed out of my home again.
“ W-WAIT! It’s just . . . . “
I was already out house till then.
“ Stay safe. “
Grandma closed the door right on my face.
“ . . . . Noon . . . . “
