In the City of Star Arc, a schoolgirl with long bluish-purplish hair tied up in a ponytail is seen walking towards the school grounds. In terms of her attire, she has chosen to wear a white shirt with short sleeves, a black tie and vest, black pants, and brown boots. While walking, she releases a yawn, and as her gaze wanders, she observes a young woman with short, light brown hair. The girl dressed in a white short-sleeved sailor uniform, who appears to be young in age, glances over and greets the bluish-purplish haired girl by waving at her. "Good morning, Haruko, I hope you are doing well today."

"Yo Hayate!" exclaimed Haruko with a wave as she caught sight of her. "I am interested to know if there have been any recent developments or news that you could share with me."

"Well if since you ask." said Hayate, with a huge grin on her face. "The news that there won't be any homework for a week is a huge relief and cause for celebration."

"Is that the reason behind your happiness?" Haruko inquired as she looked at Hayate and let out a sigh.

Hayate looked at Haruko and asked "What?" with a curious expression on her face. "What is the reason behind that look you're giving me?"

"You couldn't contain your happiness when you found out that there would be no homework for a week." Haruko said while glaring at Hayate. "That appears to be suspicious!"

Hayate was taken aback as Haruko look at her friend put on an act and say, "I can't believe you would speak to me that way, especially since we have been best friends for so long."

"Please refrain from overreacting and being overly dramatic." Haruko expressed her disbelief with a sigh and directed her gaze towards Hayate.  "Can you remind me of the reason why I am still friends with you?"

"I can tell that you love hanging out with me," Hayate says as he hugs Haruko, a smile on her face. Haruko and Hayate shared a laugh together as the sound of the bell echoed through the halls. Hayate quickly spoke up, "Oh dear, we need to hurry or we will be late for our next destination."

"Absolutely!" exclaimed Haruko as she ran towards the school with Hayate, both determined to arrive on time.

-In unknown room-

The atmosphere in the room was tense as the individuals sat in their respective chairs, each one staring intently at the hologram of the galaxy and discussing the upcoming Universe Game Tournament. Suddenly, a young male with long, flowing white hair, dressed in light blue and white attire with black flats, entered the room. He had a pair of fox ears and a tail that added to his unique appearance. As he walked in, he smiled warmly at the seven individuals and greeted them, saying, "Hello my fellow gatekeepers."

The other gatekeepers observe the white-haired boy, who is smiling widely and exclaiming, "I have a request to make!"

"Touma, could you tell me what's happening?" inquired the girl with black hair and wolf ears. "I hope this is worth my time and attention."

"As we are all aware," Touma said with a smile, "the Universe Game Tournament is coming up soon." Touma look at everyone with a smile "and we all know some of us choose our fighter to enter."

"Fox boy, quit beating around the bush and get straight to the point," the black-haired boy with devil horns demanded. "Our time is limited and we cannot spend the whole day on this."

"Okay, okay," Touma laughed, his amusement evident in his tone. "My intention is to make this request, even though it may not be the easiest thing to do." Touma point his finger on hologram which it show earth. "My desire is for planet Earth to participate in the Universe Game Tournament."

The room was filled with people who were completely stunned and shocked by Touma's request, which caused them all to yell out at once, "WHAT!"

The girl with white hair and  a halo over her head looked at Touma in disbelief and said, "This can't be true, you can't be serious."

"In your opinion, do I look like I'm joking or am I actually joking?" asked Touma, smirking. " It is my aspiration that the Earth would have the opportunity to compete in the Universe Game Tournament."

Laughter filled the air as the brown haired girl, her amusement pure, looked over at Touma and granted him permission with the words, "Okay, I allow it."

"Loretta, are you serious about this." The devil boy asked her. "You're really allowing it."

"Yes, I am," Loretta exclaimed with a huge grin on her face, clapping her hands together in excitement. "Touma, you have piqued my interest, but you must secure a powerful fighter to compete in the tournament, do you acknowledge that?"

"That's something I'm already aware of," Touma said with a bow before taking his leave to earth.

With a smirk on her face, Loretta closes her eyes and confidently states, "I have a feeling this tournament is going to be very exciting."

Upon the conclusion of the school day and a few hours passing, Haruko and Hayate could be seen leaving the campus, with Hayate expressing his exhaustion through a yawn and stating "I'm really tired."

"It's so true, I was just thinking the same thing myself." Haruko said while rubbing her back of her head. "While sitting in class, I had the thought that the teacher would never stop talking."

"Same here!" Hayate responded with a deep sigh as she met Haruko's gaze. "It's quite unbelievable how he goes on and on and on without stopping."

Haruko directed a little laugh towards Hayate as she said, "We have the bell to thank for getting us out of there."

Laughing uncontrollably, Haruko and Hayate were caught off guard when a mysterious voice suddenly spoke up, saying, "Well, isn't this a funny sight?" Haruko and Hayate gaze at the radiant light, and as they do, Touma appears before them. In a gesture of respect, Touma bowed and smiled at Haruko and Hayate "Greetings, my name is Touma and I have come to extend an invitation to you, Haruko Inuzuka for participating in a fighting tournament."

Haruko's eyes widened in surprise as she exclaimed, "A fighting tournament?!"

"The event is known as Universe Game Tournament," Touma explained. "After receiving approval from my fellow gatekeepers, I am happy to inform you that Earth has been granted entry into the tournament. If you emerge victorious, your wish shall be granted."

"Wow, that's amazing!" Hayate exclaimed with enthusiasm. "If you win, we can be rich, so take a moment to think about it."

Haruko smacked Hayate on the head causing her to yelp in pain. "I don't know," replied Haruko, crossing her arms and exhaling loudly.

"If I were to explain the complete details of the tournament, would that entice you to become a participant?" asked Touma.

Haruko turned her head towards Hayate and noticed that she was nodding at her. She then looked over at Touma and said, "Ok start talking."

"Of course," Touma said with a smile, acknowledging the obviousness of the situation. "Allow me to provide you with all the necessary information and give you the full details."
