[8:00am, Neo Draconis, 3rd District]

Amidst the noise and chaos, Sora heard a voice calling out her name, "Sora! Sora!".  The room was occupied by a young girl with pink hair, who was sound asleep on her bed, dressed in red pajama shorts and a black tank-top. While her name, "Sora Morimoto!", was being called out repeatedly, she couldn't help but notice the disarray of her room. Despite her wish to sleep in, the pink-haired girl found it frustrating that she couldn't seem to do so, prompting her to get up and walk out of her room. As she did, she encountered an older woman with short pink hair, who was dressed in a white long-sleeved dress shirt and a black and gray striped skirt, and who wore black glasses. Upon seeing the younger girl with blue eyes, the woman sighed and said, "It's about time you woke up, Sora!"

"Is there any specific reason that I am unable to sleep in?" asked Sora while yawning.

"I wonder if you know what time it is," said the dorm head.

As Sora reflects on the situation, a sudden realization strikes her, prompting her to scream out loud, "AHHHHH!"

"Yeah!" exclaimed the dorm head, her voice filled with disbelief and surprise. "Despite oversleeping, you have promised me that you will go shopping."

"Mai, why didn't you wake me earlier?" Sora asked in a slightly irritated tone, hurrying to her room to change into her white sleeveless shirt, brown shorts, black short sleeve jacket, and black boots. "I know for a fact that I am the one who needs to do the shopping this time around."

"Sora, please don't play games in the middle of the night," Mai said as she handed her wallet to Sora just before she left.

"I know, I know," Sora said with a sigh, as she walked out of the dormitory house and headed towards the shopping alley. "Sometimes, Mai can come off as being too serious, which can be a little overwhelming.". Looking at her phone, Sora saw that the list included eggs, meats, and a variety of other items that she needed to purchase. While Sora was shopping, she gazed at the sky and wondered if she would ever be able to leave and explore other worlds. Since she was a child, Sora has always dreamt of traveling to another world, and this desire has stayed with her to this day. Unfortunately, when she was only five years old, her father went missing and this has had a profound impact on her life. Mai always refused her requests and made it clear that she was not permitted to leave no matter how many times she asked.

Her shopping complete, she returned to the dormitory house where Mai was waiting for her and let out a sigh of contentment while saying "I'm back."

"Good!" exclaimed Mai as she grabbed the bag and placed it on the counter. "Let me take care of making dinner tonight."

"Mai, if it's okay with you, I would like to ask a question." asked Sora while looking at Mai.

"Sora!" Mai exclaimed as she let out a deep sigh and facepalmed, her frustration quite evident.

"Come on!" Sora exclaims with frustration in her voice. "You are always preventing me from leaving this world."

"Because it is dangerous out there," Mai cautioned with a serious expression. "There is so much out there that you are not aware of." Mai maintains eye contact with Sora and firmly crosses her arms. "I want you to know that I'm doing everything in my power to prevent you from going out there and putting yourself in harm's way."

"It's not fair that my father has been missing for years and you never disclosed his whereabouts to me." Sora raised her voice and yelled.

"I have made it clear to you, Sora, on numerous occasions that departure is not allowed." Mai's voice was filled with anger as she conveyed to Sora that leaving was not an option.

"Is there a reason I can't go search for my father?" Sora shouted louder.

With force, Mai struck the counter with her fist and bellowed at Sora, "You can't leave this place, Sora. That's the final word!"

Sora, feeling emotional, quickly rushed out the door, leaving Mai calling out her name in an attempt to get her attention, but unfortunately, Sora had already left and Mai expressed her frustration by exclaiming, "Damn it!"

Sora, who was feeling very upset, was walking through the town after Mai had denied her permission to leave, causing her to express her frustration by saying "Stupid Mai!". Sora kicked a rock on the ground and gazed up at the sky with a frown, wondering to herself, "What is preventing me from leaving this place?". Sora decided to stay out until nighttime, which caused her to miss dinner. As she pulled out her phone to check the time, she realized that she should head back before Mai freaks out. As she was preparing to depart, a voice suddenly called out her name, causing her to pause, "Sora!".  "Sora!", a voice called out, causing her to abruptly stop and turn around to see who it was that was calling her name. Sora shook her head, attempting to ignore the persistent call that she was hearing. However, the call continued, and as she turned around, she saw a glowing blue light which compelled her to follow it. She followed the light, which eventually led her to the train station. Sora's eyes fixated on the express train, which appeared to be abandoned for ages, but her curiosity got the best of her. She took a step forward and reached out to touch the door of the express, and to her surprise, it opened with a faint blue light emanating from within. As soon as she walked inside the express, she took a moment to look around and was in awe of the interior, exclaiming "Wow!"

As Sora walked through the express, she made her way towards the back room where she spotted a strange capsule and was filled with curiosity about what could be inside it. With her hand resting on the capsule, Sora felt it begin to open. She took a step back and was amazed to see a young girl inside. She have long plum color hair wearing a white dress, Sora was shock to sees a girl inside and spoke "What a girl doing inside."

As soon as she opens her striking blue eyes, the girl notices Sora standing nearby and starts to exit the capsule, but in her attempt to do so, she stumbles and falls to the ground. With her energy depleted from her extended sleep, she made an effort to stand, but Sora's helping hand and comforting words, "Are you alright?" made all the difference.

"I'm okay," said the girl with a smile at Sora, but feeling a little weak. "I would like to express my gratitude for your kindness, thank you."

After managing to lift her up, Sora let out a sigh and asked, "What are you doing in there exactly?"

"I don't remember," said the girl as she rubbed her head. "It is unclear to me where exactly I am located at this moment."

"Neo Draconis is where we are," stated Sora with a composed demeanor towards the girl.

The girl's eyes widened as she repeated the words, "Neo Draconis!?"

"Yes! Neo Draconis," Sora exclaimed, letting out a sigh as she looked at her. "I was wondering if you could share your name with me?"

"My name is..." she said, frowning slightly as she spoke. "At this moment, I am unable to recall what my name is."

"You don't remember!?" exclaimed Sora, while sighing and taking a moment to think. "Do you happen to recall your place of origin?"

"No," replied the girl firmly. "My memory is completely blank and I can't recall anything.". While looking at Sora, she smiled and said, "My mission is still fresh in my memory."

"Your mission?" asked Sora.

"Yes!" exclaimed the girl, her tone serious and resolute. "The Universe is facing a perilous situation which threatens its very existence."

"What!?" exclaimed Sora in a loud and surprised voice. "The universe is in danger!?"

"Yes!" she cried out in a pleading tone, starting to beg for help in a moment of desperation. "Sora, I'm in need of your help."

As Sora gazed at the girl, a look of confusion swept across her face, and then she proceeded to let out a sigh while looking at her. Just as Sora is about to speak, a voice suddenly appears behind her, saying "I thought I made it clear that you were to stay out of this situation, but it seems like you enjoy disobeying my rules, don't you, Sora?"

Sora turned around and was surprised to see Mai standing behind her, holding a bag filled with clothes, food, and other essential items. Sora couldn't believe her eyes when she saw Mai standing there. "Mai!" she exclaimed in shock.

"Sora." Mai spoke and walk up to her and smiled. "My desire for your safety is the reason I am requesting you to stay here," Mai explained, grinning at Sora. "Though I was initially resistant, your unyielding persistence has led me to concede and allow you to proceed with what you need to do."

Sora's eyes widened and she raised her voice in excitement, "Really!?"

"Yes," Mai said, smiling at her and then turning her gaze towards the girl with the plum-colored hair. "Excuse me, but I am curious about your identity, would you mind telling me who you might be?"

"I don't know." The girl frowned. "My memory of both my name and past experiences seems to be completely lost."

"I see," Mai said, her voice carrying a hint of disappointment as she released a heavy sigh. "Fortunately, I had the foresight to pack some additional clothing in case of an emergency." Mai walk up to the girl and hand her the bag. "Please put on these clothes and come meet us outside."

As they exited the building, Sora glanced at Mai and inquired, "I'm curious, what exactly is this?"

"This is Universal Express, a express of universal." Mai said as she crossed her arms. "This express was owned by your father before he went missing." Mai look around and smiled. "The Express has the ability to travel from one world to another, however, I am perplexed as to how that girl managed to get on board!"

"My dad used to own this." Sora spoke as she smiled. "Can you please explain the reason behind your decision to let me go?"

With her eyes shut tight, Mai smiled and spoke: "So, the reason for your search is your father, isn't it?"

"Yes," replied Sora in a clear and affirmative tone.

"If you feel like finding him is the right thing to do, then you have every right to go and do so." Mai smiled and pat Sora head.

"I'm done!" The plum haired girl walk out as she wearing a black and light blue corset with detached black sleeves, long tails which acted like a dress, with a white skirt, black laced-up boots and a short white shawl around her shoulders and glasses.

"Wow!" exclaimed Sora with a grin on her face as she walked up to the woman. "You look fantastic today, Xion!"

"Xion?", said the girl as she directed her gaze toward Sora.

With a nod and a smile, Sora agrees, "Certainly, given that you do not remember your name, the least I can do is provide you with one."

"Xion," the girl said with a gentle smile as she directed her gaze towards Sora. "I am fond of the name."

Mai summoned two androids in front of Sora and Xion, causing her to smile. The first android was a female with short blue hair and blue eyes. She wore a blue dress with star designs, black flats, a white jacket, and a white hat. The other android was male and wore a black butler suit, had long gray hair in a ponytail, and with green eyes and black glasses.

"Sora and Xion," Mai said, flashing a smile at them. "I would like to introduce you to Axel and Sona."

"Welcome aboard the Universal Express! My name is Sona, and I am your awesome conductor who is ready to take you on an unforgettable adventure." Sona said loud and pound.

"My name is Axel and I have the pleasure of serving as your graceful butler and navigator for Universal Express." Axel said and bow to Sora and Xion.

"Those two travel along side with your father and I." Mai said with smile. "You don't need to worry about anything as they will take care of you."

"That's absolutely right!" exclaimed Sona, her face beaming with a smile. "You can rest assured that both of you are in good hands."

Sora gazed at Mai while she handed her a sword. Sora was taken aback when she looked at the Mai and say, "You're not coming."

"My journey had reached its conclusion a long time before." Mai said with smile. "Beside the fact that it is necessary, someone has to watch the dormitory house."

"Right!" Sora enthusiastically nods her head in agreement as Mai hands over a staff to Xion..

"I am ready!" Sona yelled as she used her power to start the express. Activate the Universal Express by turning it on with the command "power on"!

As Mai stepped outside, she saw the express train being turned on and the door closing shut. Sora and Xion stand side by side, peering out of the window, and notice Mai standing outside, waving at them. Sona smiled and spoke to everyone"Attention! All passengers of the Universal Express. we are ready to leave to Neo Draconis to Sea of the Universe. Please be seated until we clear."

Xion and Sora see Mai standing at the platform, watched as the train slowly began to move and waved goodbye to Mai with a sense of sadness. With a smile on her face, Mai waved goodbye as the train disappeared into the portal. While grinning, Mai offered her good luck wishes to the two of them and uttered the words "good luck".
