In 2024, an enemy who called themselves the Alone, attacked earth with an enormous force of warships and carriers and was estimated to be around 2000 warships among them were 200 carriers. The first city to be under attack by them was Tokyo and sadly over 30 millions people died to this unexpected attack. Hong Kong and Los Angeles were the second and third cities to be under attack respectively. After the attack, over 20 million people were reported dead. Despite the PLAN and The US navy's best effort, due to the enemy's superior technology such as energy shields and so on, both navies were immediately defeated after 2 days of fighting. Unfortunately, only 4 days after the attack, major pacific and atlantic coastal cities were under severe attack. After 6 days, over 100 million were reported dead.
In the UN meeting, the world had no choice but to use Nuclear Weapons as the final straw. The US and Russia, having the most nuclear weapons, each launched 1000 nukes as more enemies started to come to earth. After the launch, most of the enemy forces were destroyed and some retreated as they saw the destruction of Nuclear Weapons. But it came with consequences as the world experienced 2 years of nuclear winter. Over the next 2 years, over 40% percent of the world population starved to death.
In 2030, a UN meeting was held in Washington as the world needed to unify to avoid a nuclear war. The decision was made and the World is unified. The capital was never chosen to avoid power jealousy.

26th September 2036
0800 Hours
All 7 ships successfully returned back from conducting a joint military operation on another planet which was considered classified by the Pentagon and The United Earth Congress and concealed from the public. Admiral John McClusky, a 4 stars Admiral of the United States Navy, left the carrier as soon as it had docked. He was greeted by Admiral Michael Davidson, head of the United State Navy and Admiral Zhu De, head of the People’s Liberation Army Navy.
“Welcome back, McClusky. The joint operation is finished, right?” Admiral Davidson asked Admiral McClusky.
"Yes, the operation has finally concluded, Sir." McClusky replied. "Has Congress made a decision about keeping the portal open?" he continued.
“Ahh, yes. There will be a Congressional hearing tomorrow but this meeting is marked as classified” Admiral Davidson answered.
“Alright, let's see what the congress will decide,” said Admiral McClusky.
“You’ll be there, too, because you were the person in charge of the joint operation. You’ll be giving the statement on the operation.” said Admiral Davidson.

1000 Hours
Every senator, committee members, especially Admiral McClusky sat at their seat. David Palmer, chairman of the United Earth Congress, spoke through the microphone “Welcome, everyone, to today’s session. As you are all aware, the focus of today’s meeting is to deliberate on the proposed decision regarding the closure of the portal to the planet that has recently been under attack by our adversaries. At this time, I would like to yield the floor to Madam Speaker. Alex Carthy, a member of the Finance Committee, will provide a detailed statement on the expenditures related to the joint operation.”
“Thank you, Mr. Chairman. The joint operation has incurred an estimated cost of approximately $37.5 billion. This total includes the provision of 2 aircraft carriers, 1 destroyer, and 1 submarine to our allied forces, which amounts to $37 billion in taxpayer money. Additionally, the cost of the equipment utilised by our own forces stands at $500 million. This concludes my statement on the financial aspects of the operation.” Said Alex Carthy.
“So, you’re telling me that we spent $500 million on a joint operation that lasted less than a month.” Mr. Palmer asked “All right, Admiral McClusky, you are the person in charge of the joint operation. So, can you provide a detailed statement of the operation?”
Admiral McClusky stood up and said “Thank you, Mr. Palmer. As for the operation, our force suffered 3 casualties and a total number of helicopters lost are two which are estimated to cost the Navy around $80 million in damages. USS Wisconsin (BB-2023) suffered extensive damage to the ship’s hull. The ship is currently under ongoing repair and maintance at the San Diego dry dock. UEN Admiral (BB-101), UEN Retribution (CVN-101), USS New Jersey (BB-2024), USS Missouri (BB-2022), USS New Hampshire (BB-1011), and CN JingGang are currently under ongoing maintenance with little to no damage at all.”
“So, Why don't you tell everyone how much does the allied force contribute to this joint operation, Admiral McClusky:” Mr. Palmer asked.

“Yes, Their contribution to this operation was a lot despite us running most of the operation. We helped them save another country’s navy force but that operation resulted in 3 casualties and 2 helicopters lost.” Admiral McClusky replied.
“So, the operation resulted in 120 casualties, what did the allied forces think about this?” Mr. Palmer asked again.
“Well, they are deeply sorry for the victims' family for losing one of the family members.” Admiral McClusky replied back.
“That’s all? So, how much did we gain from this operation, Admiral?” Mr. Palmer kept asking him.
“This question is very hard to answer. We gained almost nothing from this operation.” Admiral McClusky replied.
“Nothing? But we decided to help the allied force fight against our adversaries. At least we gain something, Admiral.” Said Mr. Palmer. "I think we've heard all we need to. Senators, please prepare to vote."
All of 100 the senate started to make their decision by writing their answer and putting it inside an envelope where it would be collected to check. After half an hour, the answers were revealed, 93 out of 100 senators approved the closure of the gate. A concurrent resolution letter was given to Mr. Palmer for him to sign the closure of the Gate. He signed the paper immediately after the letter was given. And the decision was made, the Gate would be closed on 28th september 2036.
After the Congressional Hearing, everyone exited the meeting hall, ending the meeting.

1100 Hours
UESA (United Earth Space Agency) scientists started the process of closure.
"We appreciate your help. We’ll see you again soon, Admiral McClusky.” The person who was in charge of the navy from another world said to him “Good bye.”
“Goodbye. You know how to operate our ships and planes” Admiral McClusky replied back.
“Yes, we do.” The person replied back to him.
The person boarded a World War 2 era battleship and sailed back to his world through the portal.
One of the Scientists came to him and said “Sir, the Gate is ready to close. We will cut the power to the portal”. After the scientist told him, the man went to a machine and pulled a lever down, cutting the power to the Gate.
“Finally, I can rest.” Admiral McClusky sighed.

It was only a week after the last meeting when suddenly all of the senators from 50 different states were called for another Congressional Hearing. This meeting also involved UESA.
Mr. Palmer spoke through the microphone and said “Please, welcome everyone. Today’s session is crucial as this also involved the United Earth Space Agency. This session is about the new lands that were found in the Pacific Ocean and the earth appeared to be bigger. Please, Dr. Eleanor Cater, make the report.”
“Thank you, Mr. Palmer. At 11:50 PM on the 2nd of October, we lost contact with over 200 scientists on Mars and 50 scientists on the moon. Despite our best effort, we still couldn’t contact them. But we are still in contact with the ISS. When we checked the star constellations, all of the stars in the sky were totally different from the night on 1st of October. Our scientists were able to determine that earth has increased by roughly 50%, though there's been no increase in gravity. We also found a new continent the size of Asia in the Pacific Ocean. And 3 portals that were used to be connected to Elaris, Vortana, and Xaloria malfunctioned without a reason. Despite us trying to restore the connection, we couldn’t. That is all” Said Dr. Carter.
“I propose a plan to make contact with the people on the unknown continent but first, we do a recon mission over the mysterious land before we make contact with them to insure that they are not hostile.” Admiral Michael Davison said.
“All right, please make your decision.” Said Mr. Palmer.
After 30 minutes, the decision was made. 87 out of 100 members approved the decision and Mr. Palmer, being the head of the United Earth Congress, needed to sign the concurrent resolution. He signed the letter immediately and the Pentagon was given the task to do the recon mission and make the contact.

4th October 2036
“Welcome everyone, as you already know, we have been given a task from the congress, which is to make contact with one of the kingdoms as soon as possible.” Admiral Micheal Davidson said to the heads of the other department as he was also the head of the United Earth Navy.
“Alright, I already sent a SR-72 Darkstar from Fuzhou Changle International Airport to this island in the Pacific to do surveillance on it.” Admiral Wilhelm von Schwartzenfeld, head of the United Earth Air Force pointed at Eldoria “We’ll be receiving images of the island soon.” said General Schwartzenfeld. “Oh, looks like we just received the images from the Darkstar and the satellites.”
“It looks like a little kingdom with a castle in the middle. There are a lot of houses all around it, but why is it covered in a glass dome?” said General Zheng He, head of the United Earth Army. “We should send scouts there. It appears that there is a gate that leads into the kingdom.” he continued.
“We’ll send UEN Vanguard (CVN-102) there. It will be carrying marines who will conduct scout missions there. According to this kingdom's condition, it does not look very hostile, so the marines should make contact with the locals and learn more about the kingdom. How does that sound?” said Admiral Davidson.
“That sounds good but how many we’ll be sending. If we could, we should have a diplomatic representative visit and meet with the kingdom’s ruler.” said Admiral Zheng He. “We could become an ally with each other. We also could provide them with some protection like other nations that we made contact on the other planets.” he continued
“All right, the decision is made. Since Admiral John McClusky was in charge of our last operation, he should be ok this time.” Said Admiral Davidson.
UEN Vanguard (CVN-102)
80 nautical miles off the coast of Eldoria
5th October 2036
0800 hours
Admiral McClusky walked through a corridor and entered a meeting. Inside were 3 marines and all of them wore vests, backpacks and normal clothes. They were Lieutenant Micheal Harries, Sergeant Hiroshi Nakamura, and Sergeant Wei Zhang.
“Alright boys, here is your mission. As you already know, this mission is considered a recon mission. Your main objective is learning more about the kingdom. Interact with the locals as much as possible because the kingdom has a gate which means that they accept outsiders. Do you understand?” Admiral McClusky said to all three of them.
“Yes, sir!” all three of them shouted.
“Lieutenant Harries will be the mission leader,” said Admiral McClusky.
All three marines ran out of the room and made their way to the flight deck as they had already prepared before meeting and boarded the V-280 Valor helicopter. The helicopter took off and headed toward Eldoria.
