Settings:

⁃ Within the living room, we find Yukihime with a blank and stunned face after receiving the news of Shin being a dragon

⁃ Sakura would remain sitting on the couch as she enjoys the tea that was made for her by Maria

⁃ Shin is passed out on the floor with a large lump on his head after receiving a hit from Sakura

Dialogue:

Yukihime: (Finally snapping back from the shock) “ A dragon? Are you serious? Do you expect me to believe in something like that? I think maybe you really are just a drunk old gran-“

(Before the last words could leave her lips, Yukihime broke into a cold sweat as she felt an incredible pressure and bloodlust from Sakura who was sitting with a shaded-out face and a sinister smile almost as if she was daring her to finish that last word.)

Yukihime: (covered in a cold sweat while looking at Sakura) “ An-anyway, there’s no way that dragons even exist. I mean aren’t they supposed to be giant lizards with wings that breathe fire? All I see here is a dumb high schooler with the only thing that’s monstrous about him is his attitude.”

Sakura: (taking a sip of her tea) “ Well yeah, dragons are known to be this big and scary fantasy that has been built off thousands of years of legends that have been imprinted on mankind and will most likely continue as such till the end of time. But (showing a deadpan face)…yea that was a lie.”

(From hearing this, Yukihime is showing a blank face while Marie is sitting alongside her with a gentle smile on her face with her eyes closed.)

Sakura: “Honestly speaking, I always found it cringing that this made-up story was never really questioned by anyone in this world. But I can understand why you find it so hard to believe with that just being thrown in your face. In that case, let's start from the beginning.”

(Sakura begins to narrate the history of the dragons as a flashback began to show)

Sakura: “Once, there were races of people who were capable of performing things that would be considered a fantasy. They would be able to cast fires, create storms, and manipulate the very world around them. These races were able to do so by harnessing and controlling the energy in the world and within their bodies. This energy is commonly known but often misunderstood; MAGIC. Within the races that can use magic, there were the Mages, humans born with capably of using magic; and the Dragons, a race that is similar to humans but is able to change their appearance, growing horns, scales, fangs, claws, and at times tails and wings.”

(Yukihime remembering the sight she seen when watching Shin transform and fighting the robed men.)

Sakura: (Continuing the story) “When it came to these races, they were always in constant war with one another. This war that has been going on for centuries has heavily influenced the world in more ways than you would even imagine (scenes of World war ll, Egyptian pharaoh, Presidential shooting, and other worldwide events and myths showing here). But as the war continued, the Dragons had begun to be outnumbered due to the Mages including regular humans into the war. They would do so by fooling them to believe that dragons were hideous monsters and devils that were sent to end the world.”

Yukihime: (In her head)” Oh, that must be how the whole dragons being huge monsters had happened.”

Sakura: “Because of the involvement of humans, Dragons had begun to be seen as the common enemy of the world and the Mages were now seen as the saints. As the war continued, Mages have taken control of the upper governments of the world while Dragons are in control of the underworld such as the mafias, yakuza, and even controlling corrupted government officials. Even after all this time and with how quiet it seems, I still can’t say that the war is even near an end.”

(In the background, Marie is tending to her unconscious brother and treating his head wound given to him by Sakura.)

Yukihime: “Okay, I get that there’s this huge hidden war going between Dragons and Mages. But if that’s the case, why were Dragons attacking Shin at school if he’s a Dragon as well?”

Sakura: (turns to Marie with a gentle smile) “Marie sweetheart, would you mind taking your brother to his room and making sure he's ok for me?”

Marie: (Nodding) “Sure thing Oba-san.”

Yukihime: (Beginning to stand up) “Oh, let me help you carry him.”

Marie: “No thank you, it’s fine. (flexing her arms) I’m really strong so it’s no trouble to me. Besides, (showing an adorable and innocent smile) brother said that your a creep and I should avoid people like you as much as possible.”

(Yukihime falls into shock and depression after hearing this and falls back into her seat as Marie begins to carry her brother to his room.)

Sakura: (slightly laughing after watching this) “Didn’t expect you to get slapped with the creepy title already. Also, sorry for cutting you off when you were asking a question, there are just some things she doesn’t need to know just yet. (Taking another sip of tea) But to answer your question, those guys were most likely not after Shin at all. If I was to guess, the one they were really after was his father, William Agni.”

Yukihime: (In her head)” His father, why would they be looking for him?”

Sakura: “You see, within the Dragons and Mages there are 6 lords for both races; The 6 Stances for the Mages and The 6 Dragonic Scales for the Dragons. Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Light, and Darkness(showing images of each element being used by Mages and Dragons); each lord would represent one of these elements. How they are decided would always change depending on who the current lord is but it's normally based on who is the strongest within one of those fields. As for Shin and Marie’s dad, William was the king of fire for the Dragons. (Showing a shadowy image of William surrounded by flames) He was known as the Burning flame and also the unofficial strongest Dragon within the race be named youngest to become a lord at the age of 16.”

(Scene showing Marie taking care of Shin in his room.)

Sakura: “I’m not too sure on the details myself but a few years after he had Shin and while his wife was carrying their daughter, they showed up at my door with William having been heavily wounded. Turns out they were attacked at their home and Will was badly hurt protecting them from their pursuers. Because of that, I decided to let them stay here until everything had been cleared out. But I guess due to all the stress from the event, his wife had begun to go into labor giving birth to Marie. A few months later, both William and his wife decided that it would be too dangerous to have their children while they look for answers, so they were left in my care ever since.”

Yukihime: “Wait, so did you want Marie to leave because you didn’t want her to know what happened?”

Sakura: “ Actually, that was at Shin’s request. He didn’t want his little sister to know that there may be someone after her life or that her parents are missing. He wanted to do whatever he could to make sure that she could grow up as normal and as happy as possible.”

Yukihime:(in her head)” Well at least I can understand why he’s so protective of her. (Speaking aloud) But are you sure that it’s ok for me to know? What made you decide to tell me this?“

Sakura: (standing up and walking to Yukihime) “I’m pretty sure you were going to keep looking into this no matter how many times he tried to get away from you. Because of that, I wanted to make sure that you know the dangers that you would be in if you stay around him. Are you sure that you would want to do so?”

Yukihime: (in her head) “ Should I be involving myself in any of this? I mean, my life will be in danger the more I’m around him. Plus, he’s only been a perverted jerk whenever I see him. Not to mention he keeps calling me bad luck. (Showing flashback of Shin with a hidden sad and lonely expression)But I don’t know why but for some reason, I can only see myself telling her…”

Yukihime: “ I want to help in any way I can.”

(Sakura showed a slight smile on her face after hearing Yukihime’s answer.)

Sakura: “ Well, I hope that you’re ready for the mess that you’re about to get into. But even though he doesn’t show it, I know that he is happy to have someone that he finally can be honest with now. Especially with a cutie like you (Yukihime blushes). But it is getting late, I think it is time for you to head home. Would you want me to wake up the idiot to walk you?”

Yukihime: “ No honestly, it’s fine. I’m not far from here so I’ll be safe. Thank you so much for having me here, I hope that you have a good night.”

(Yukihime turned around and began to head home.)

Sakura: “Miyoko Yukihime, I do wonder when you will realize how your connected to this world.”
