Chapter 11 Meeting of Two Worlds

Chapter 11 Meeting of Two Worlds

"Is this how you welcome your guests?" One of the Red Champions said, mocking Jhin's entrance and the human-shaped hole he had made in the ground.

"And you announce your entrance in a foreign country by scaring to death its whole population? How very nice!" Jhin answered back, and the man who mocked choked on his words, following which Jhin shifted his focus from the colored six to the three at the back who were busy scribbling down something. Right as he looked at them all three looked up and one of them cleared his throat and approached Jhin.

"You are the Full Metal FIghter right?" He asked while looking momentarily at Jhin's extended hand. "Is that a way of introduction?"

"Yeah, I am, and indeed, we call this a handshake." Jhin answered.

"We slam our feet together and place the side of a closed palm in our foreheads. But anyway, you aren't full of metal are you? Are your insides made of metal or is your skin-colored to look like real skin?" The man spoke without break, his quick change of focus to his class, which he somehow knew about, showed his lack of interest for the other subject.

"Woah! Dude! Calm down! Are you an information addict or something?" Jhin backed off from the man with an excited grin on his face, who had been drooling while looking up and down Jhin's body.

"How do you even now of my class, to begin with! But I guess you should first meet up with our King, this is no place to share information between two Kingdoms. Not to mention that you hadn't been the kindest so far., so I'll have to think about answering."

Jhin threw a look at the man that had mocked him before he turned around and went through the Palace Wall gates that had now opened. A healing Alexander joined up with him right after he passed the gate and by his side stood Lyrion. He was much calmer than before after having lost and taken a good scolding from Alexander.

The uninvited guests followed the armed guards and Jhin past the palace gates. And all the way up to the meeting room were Sklavos was going to meet them.

Once they entered the room Jhin saw the empty seat in between Talisa and Shaq and sat down quickly and let Alexander and Lyrion lead the guests to their seats before the two took a few steps back and stood right behind them. While another group of Guards stayed very close to the King.

Sklavos didn't intend to have men for protection but after the dark blast of aura the three tattooed men released he couldn't help but take at least these measures.

"Welcome! Welcome dear guests from far away lands! I am Sklavos, the King of the Pristine Kingdom." He said as he nodded deeply with his head, without getting up.

If the Pristine Kingdom was to have any sort of hope in this Island, Sklavos as the King had the duty to stand tall and proud. Without giving the guests more honor and acknowledgment than they deserved.

"I thank you for welcoming us despite the mishap King Sklavos. We are the representatives of the United Human States. My name is Arben, I am the Vice Head of the Tower of Magic. This next to me is the Vice Head of the Tower of Aura and the other three are the Chief Inquisitors of the Adventurers Guild. We are under direct order from the United government to make ties with the People of this land. Glad to meet you."

Arben said calmly and slowly as he did a small bow to Sklavos. His tone was easy going but formal yet when he spoke of their identity a clear pride and even some contempt became apparent in his voice.

He clearly found their towers much more impressive than the palace he was currently in. He might have reached a conclusion about the world from this first impression and he would be wrong about that, but when it comes to only the Pristine Kingdom then he would sadly be correct to show contempt.

The Pristine kingdom has entered the Industrial era, has changed from a grander into a more compact style of building, and has been going through a few problems the past few years. It was a major player in the world thanks to being rich in coal and other natural resources, as well as great technological advancements but it had been far from the top. When compared to the United Human States, which accounted for all humans, probably, in their world they obviously couldn't compare.

And to add to Sklavos's problems they had lost a huge part of their land when they shot up to the sky, as well as their best factories and workers. There were other older or simply less important or well-established factories in the land that had gone up with the Capital but they simply weren't at the level of the best, and they didn't have the workers needed to work them at full force.

Though thanks to their existence, not all hope was lost.

"So, Esteemed Mister Arben, How did you manage to pass such an expansive piece of land in such a short amount of time? We may be able to see your towers all the way from here but I am thinking that has to do more with the temporary interference of the things that set this new world up than the actual length of the Island." Sklavos began the talks with a topic that he was actually interested in but not one that would be too demanding for the guests to answer. It was always good to begin slowly in negotiations.

"It was thanks to an Item that was made by our very own Tower of Magic. The Magic Carpet Tier III. It is the best of the best when it comes to transportation. It can float above the land and go through any terrain at a very stable and fast speed. It doesn't need to stop or be driven by anyone. It takes instructions and Magic stones to go forth. As simple as that."

"Very impressive. Thus you managed to travel land that would take more than 10 days at max speed to go through in only 4 days and a few hours? We could only do that with the proper infrastructure." Sklavos said and shook his head in indignation for their situation, which by the things he said didn't sound so dire compared to what he made it look like.

"To get here though you had to go through our border right? How did it look there?" Skalvos went on and asked.

Arben smiled and answered straight away.

"It was incredible how almost hidden regions were the land was broken up appear to be. If it wasn't for the people living in the border areas of both our Nations we would not be able to tell right away." Arben tried to play the clear border separation off, if he could get more land then why wouldn't he?

"Well, that is weird. Because my own scouts are saying completely different things. Like how there is a large and distinct crack through the whole island that separate the previously separate pieces of land." Sklavos grinned at Arben's attempt, he would never be so unprepared. "So what do you say you became more Honest so that we can end this and move on to breakfast?" He added, hit tone turning more demanding.

Arben had no choice but to sigh. "We truly didn't come here for anything unexpected, you don't have to worry. We came for two reasons. Firstly it is a must for The United Human States to know who its neighbors are but the second and more important reason is that the Seer has senses the emergence of three new classes, Though the major one is the Full Metal Fighter, which has never existed in the history of our world before."

"Can I say why that is?" Jhin waited for Arben to finish and looked to Sklavos when he asked that. After getting the nod he spoke.

"You haven't seen it before because it wouldn't have been possible for it to exist before. It is a power I gained from the world. Look." Jhin said and stood up.

He didn't really have a good grasp on his power yet, not much of an understanding at all to be truthful, and he would need to go through extensive training, as well as travel to the other world's territory in order to even get a sense for the power he had gained from shattering that shape. But none the less he could still show the true nature of his body.

And he could do it because it was its new true nature and not a transformation. He Was, just like the system said, made of metal, living iron. Not human anymore and thus he could obviously show how he actually looked.

His hair spiked up and turned to a grey metal color. The color flowed rapidly down the head and passed through the eyes, which lost their green luster, down the mouth and the chin, and then rushed down to the torso and the legs. Soon enough Every single pat of Jhin's body had turned into that Iron, grey color with a metallic sheen. But instead of looking like a lump of normal Iron, he looked alive. His heart very clearly beat and his chest heaved with his breath. His skin looked more like grey skin than the metallic outside of a statue.

"Wow! Is that the power of the other world? Are you now completely metal?" The man who had gone crazy before got up and started asking questions but Jhin threw a look to Arben and Arben pulled the man down and made him shut up.

"It is and I am, My race has changed into a Metal Human in the status page."

Talking about the status got Jhin thinking about what were the differences in the status page now that he was using his actual body.

*STATUS*

Level: 2

Name: Jhin

Class: Full Metal Fighter Lvl 2

Race: Metal Human

Vitality: ----

ATTRIBUTES:

Strength: Peak(10)

Agility: Good (6.5)

Toughness: Extremely Superhuman (40)

Intelligence: Good (6.5)

Fortitude: Excellent (9.5)

Sense: Below Average (4.25)

And the difference was apparent, extremely so. Other than his strength which had only slightly gone up into the peak of human possibilities both his Vitality and his Toughness had had very noticeable changes.

Firstly his Vitality wasn't shown. And that could mean a number of things but for now, Jhin had no idea what it meant. On the other hand, the 40 Toughness had a very clear meaning. He was tough as balls. Someone would need at least 10 Strength and a good sharp weapon or a bullet to damage him. He could still be damaged by guns but even then he was not made of just one sheet of Rion and the rest was empty, instead, he was filled with iron, he was iron. And thus if a bullet hit him in the head, he didn't even know what it would have to get through to kill him and not just dent him.

And this was, probably, one of the reasons why Jhin's Vitality wasn't calculated in the Status page.

"Now that I think about it... I just got this power and don't really know how to use it so I'll see you all later! Talisa, you wanna come?" Jhin suddenly broke out of a stupor, a phenomenon which Arben and the other's new as Status Break, and invited Talia to get out of the stuffy room and conversation to go and train.

Which she followed without hesitation. She had only left the door and before it had closed she was already throwing the stuffy clothes off of her body. Which two the scribes from the Adventurers Guild was apparently crucial information that they wrote down with great vigor.
