Mage, wizard, sorcerer, magician, mystic, scientist. There are many names for those in pursuit of knowledge, those who seek the very workings of their surroundings. Yet, we view them as those of distinctly differing occupations. The scientist toils with machinery and electricity; gravity and electronics guide the way. The wizard bends the universe to his will with runes and lightning; stone and fire is at his beck and call. Though they all amble down the same path, the nature of their world will always guide them through different routes.  Then, what of the man who is both scientist and wizard, he who mastered sorcery, alchemy and the mystic arts? Would he wager everything just because you have everything to wager? And, the real question is - he who knows everything, he who has everything, he who wagers it all - on what would they even place their stakes.
