Alex succumbed to the darkness, but still, he expected it to be a dark cold void where he had no consciousness. He was surprised that he could remember his whole life from start to finish, but he had parts of his early childhood missing that he couldn't remember. He thought maybe it was just because he was young and couldn’t remember. He then began to think of hell and heaven. He began to think of all the stupid Christians thinking they were all wrong about heaven and hell.
“I guess it seems that the atheists were right. There is only darkness.”
As soon as Alex had finished speaking that sentence he heard a voice from above. It was angelic and was much like the one he heard in his head before. He tried to look up but he couldn't. It was as if he could only stare forward and the blank void.
The voice spoke.
“The atheists were wrong! Heaven is real and you’re gonna be there.”
Alex was surprised, he didn’t know what to say. He had so many questions. He was surprised to be even going to heaven. He didn’t do anything wrong he guessed but he wasn’t a perfect person either he didn’t even believe in god. He began to open his mouth and speak but before he could speak he suddenly felt chains on both of his ankles. He couldn’t see them, but somehow, he instinctively knew they were chains. A demonic voice just like the one that was in his head spoke from below.
“He’s not going to heaven! He’s going to hell!”
The two voices then began to argue, every time Alex tried to ask a question and interrupt, he would just be cut off.
“Damn it.”
Alex thought.
He thought they were going to argue forever until the darkness that he saw began to crack. All the voices stopped as another voice that didn’t sound familiar spoke.
“Shadow Palliate, Fool.”

The darkness began to crack away, the light began to overtake it. The voices then spoke simultaneously.
“I guess it’s your lucky day you're not dying. See you again…. soon.”
The voices disappeared suddenly as the light quickly overtook the darkness. After that Alex’s mind went blank as he suddenly lost consciousness.
Tap. Tap. Tip. Tap. Are the sounds Alex heard in his unconscious state? It sounded like someone was moving around, but it was really fast, but then it just stopped. He felt his body being settled down and somewhat immediately he felt chains around his wrists. He couldn’t wake up, he tried so hard but the unconscious wouldn’t become conscious until his 10th attempt. His eyes opened as he blinked, he realized he wasn’t dead.
His head was shifted to the left as he saw Toroma and Daizen and they were both in a chair like he was, they had chains tied around their ankles and wrist that were all attached to the wall. Alex looked in front of him and realized he was in a small room with a table by the edge of the room. There was stuff on the table but he couldn’t see it from his position. He also realized some of his bodily injuries were gone, his body was still in pain and was aching though.
He looked down, he didn’t know how to feel. He wasn’t dead but where was he? He was in a strange room only lit by a bulb on the roof. He tried to move, focusing his eyesight on the bottom of his feet. He tried to channel his aura but he had no more energy. When his head was down he heard a whoosh sound. He looked up instinctively and that’s when he saw a man figure in dark black robes. A hoodie was over his head and a blue surgical mask was covering his face, his hair slipped out from the top of his hood revealing a pink spike. Its face wasn’t shown, but it had a masculine figure and its eyes were glowing black. He looked Alex deep into his eyes as he spoke with a childish tone.
“Hello fool. What do you desire?”
Alex gulped nervously as he somehow knew his life was about to get a whole lot more interesting for better or for worse.
