One normal morning…or at least it seems to be one, Htet woke up with a sense of dread he couldn’t quite place. It wasn’t because of a test or any particular challenge…no, it was something..deeper. Almost instinctive.
Htet (groggy): “Hmmm.
...Why do I feel like today’s going to be... weird? The dream I woke up to too…it's weirdly bad but..hmmm…I can't recall anything at all..”
As he spent a good amount of time trying to recall what he had dreamt and that same dream giving him an instinctive heads up for an incoming chaotic day. Htet just gave up and got ready for school. His morning routine as per any normal human and after everything is done he headed for school, little did he know that the universe was conspiring to make his day anything but ordinary.
—
The first sign of chaos came during lunch. Htet had carefully packed his first ever bento box that he prepared the night before—a simple but satisfying mix of rice, tamagoyaki, and karaage. He proudly unwrapped it, only to find…
Htet (horrified): “Wait… what is this?”
Instead of the neat rows of food he had prepared, the contents were a swirling mess of soy sauce, rice, and what appeared to be a rogue strawberry.
Liam (gasping dramatically): “Oh ma lord, Htet, my man! Did your lunch box get into a street fight?”
Hana (taking a glimpse and laughing): “Woah, This is next-level abstract art! Ms. Ito would be proud.”
Htet (panicking): “What in the tarnation? I swear it looked normal when I packed it! Where did this strawberry even appear from?”
Leila, sitting nearby, couldn’t hold back her giggle, her usual reserved demeanor cracking just a bit.
Leila (teasing): “Maybe the strawberry wanted to join the party. Now I found something you are bad at keke.”
Hana took a picture of the disastrous bento and immediately sent it to their group chat.
Hana (smirking): “This masterpiece deserves to be remembered. Mrs. Ito would also be giving you a scholarship after seeing this.”
Htet (desperate): “Hey! No Delete that!”
The lunch ended with a fun moment. Well…definitely not for Htet.

After lunch, it is time for P.E. with Mr. Yamada. The challenges, the hurdles and no impossible are allowed in this sacred ground. At least if its with Mr.Yamada who's mentoring the students. The students were divided into teams for dodgeball, and Htet was paired with Liam, Elena, and Hana.
The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.
Mr. Yamada (enthusiastic): “Alright, everyone! Show me your spirit! This is dodgeball, not a tea party! Losers will say bye bye to their activity points.”
No response from the students
Mr. Yamada( with a straight face): “And no lunch breaks before and after my class.”
Everyone: “ Nooo, anything but that!!!”
Mr. Yamada ( with sharp intense deadly glare): “Then prove yourself, *evil grin* cadets.”
The match began, with intense atmosphere, fiery eyes and desperation to save their precious lunch breaks. Almost immediately, Liam transformed into an anime protagonist.
Liam (yelling): “This is for glory! For honor! For... extra pudding at lunch!”
He dove dramatically to avoid a throw, narrowly missing Htet and knocking over an entire rack of spare balls in the process.
Htet (dodging): “Liam, watch out—”
Before Htet could finish, a rogue dodgeball from the opposing team hit Liam square in the back, sending him sprawling theatrically onto the mat.
Liam (faking a dramatic death): “Go on without me… avenge me…”
Hana, meanwhile, had turned into a dodgeball sniper, picking off opponents with deadly accuracy.
Hana (confidently): “It’s not personal. It’s just dodgeball.”
Elena, on the other hand, was the team’s tactician, yelling strategies from the back.
Elena (commanding): “Htet, duck left! Hana, cover him!”
Htet, however, had no time to strategize. He was too busy dodging balls, Liam’s antics, and his own clumsiness. At one point, he tripped over a stray ball and landed in a very ungraceful heap.
Htet (muttering): “Why does this feel like a survival game?”
By the end of the match, their team narrowly won, though not without a few bruises—both physical and to their pride.
Mr. Yamada (approving): “Not bad, but next time, try to avoid using each other as shields.”
Liam (defensive): “I was creating strategic distractions!”

Later in the day, they had art class with Ms. Ito. The assignment was to paint a landscape from memory. Most of the students were quietly absorbed in their work, except for Liam, who had somehow managed to turn his canvas into a chaotic swirl of colors.
Ms. Ito (curious): “Liam, what are you painting?”
Liam (proudly): “It’s the battle of dodgeball. Very abstract.”
Ms. Ito (deadpan): “I see. And the pink blob?”
Liam (nodding): “That’s me. Heroically falling in slow motion.”
Hana, sitting nearby, was sketching a beautiful garden, while Elena’s painting of a snowy mountain looked like it belonged in a gallery.
Htet, meanwhile, stared at his canvas, his brush hovering uncertainty.
Htet (thinking): “Why is this so hard? It’s just a landscape…”
Leila noticed his struggle and leaned over.
Leila (softly): “You can start with simple shapes. Think of a place you love.”
Her advice worked, and soon, Htet’s painting began to take shape—a serene riverside scene that reminded him of home.
Ms. Ito (smiling): “Beautiful work, Htet. You’ve captured a sense of peace.”
Hana (teasing): “Who knew our resident klutz was secretly an artist?”
Htet (grinning): “Even a broken clock is right twice a day.”
Hana (smirking): “Should I also present your other masterpiece to Ito sensei?”
Htet forgetting about the incident during lunch but instantly the mention of ‘it’ makes him get embarrassed.
Htet (nervous smile): “ Hana, my good ol pretty friend I'll treat you any meal you want, your call. So let's forget about these ok buddy?”
Hana(victorious smirk): “Huhuhu, so be it, your treat, your promise. Break it and you’ll suffer *evil smirk* “
Htet looking defeated, survives yet another embarrassing moment.
---
As the day wound down, Htet decided to explore a bit more of the campus. He wandered into a wing he hadn’t seen before and opened a door, only to be greeted by a room full of cleaning supplies—and a very startled janitor.
Janitor (confused): “Uh, can I help you?”
Htet (embarrassed): “I… uh… was looking for the library.”
The janitor pointed him in the right direction, but not before muttering something about students needing maps.
When Htet finally found the library, he realized it was almost closing time. He tried to sneak in quietly, only to trip on the rug at the entrance, fell off knocking on the magazine stand and breaking the absolute law of the library by causing chaos. The librarian, Ms. Shimizu, looked up from her desk with a sigh.
Ms. Shimizu (exasperated): “Please try not to destroy the library on your first visit.”
Htet (sheepishly with his face planted to the floor): “Noted.”
---
Back at the dorms, Htet collapsed onto his bed, exhausted but somehow satisfied.
Htet (thinking): “Today was ridiculous, but… kind of fun.”
As he drifted off to sleep, he couldn’t help but wonder what new chaos tomorrow would bring.
