CHAPTER 3 - UNDERWATER ADVENTURE
He awakens Underwater.
He lays on the ground of the lake, his forelegs entirely stretched out.
He looks at his forelegs. Instead of hands, he has paws. They are clearly aren't his bony paws.
It feels like he controlls this body like a charakter in a video game. His sight has a slight tint of dark blue and his body feels heavy.
It seem he controlls his pet, that he lost earlier (about what he was clearly happy)..
Near him were fishes swimming around, investigating him and seemingly losing interest, after they find nothing interesting. All seemed to be calm. Fish swam around like they do not have a care in the world.
Some of these fish look like your standart clownfish or Fishes that look like you would put them inside your aquarium, Shining all in bright colors. They would swim in swarms, circle around each other, while a deep blue of the deep sea wrapps around their body and let's their body shine like little stars thanks to the contrast. Their swimming doesn't look entirely random, it is more akin to a dance than random swimming.
Then there are the other fish. They look like horrors from the deep sea. In contrast to the harmless fish, the predators shine all in dark and deep colors. They swim alone and devour every peaceful fish near them.
Some of them wait, hiding their presence in the water, waiting for their prey to come to them. They are hiding their sharp teeth and wait until a naiv fish is going to be careless enough to go near their nest.
It looks beautiful, simply beautiful, like a painting that shines in every color possible. All seems to be in perfect harmony.
Our Protagonist takes a moment, and just observes nature, he watches fishes dancing and eating.
swimming and hiding.
Pushing and pulling.
Beautiful like a painting.
----------------------------------------
Suddenly every fish far and wide flees from his surroundings.
His body is still entirely still, tension fills the air and in his eyes can undiluted curiousity be found.
A kraken appeared before him. It appeared Gigantic like an small island inside this lake, it overshadowed everything. His 8 Arms are seemingly stretched endless, each suction cup has a little sharp silver hook. His arms look like they are made of pure muscle and could even drag ships underwater . His skin is in an toxic rust colour and creates an strong contrast to his surroundings. It has Demonic looking scales covering it's body while small horns curl near it's head. It looked more like a demon from hell that came to devour and kill everything instead of an inhabitant of the deep.
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
One of it's unreasonable muscular grabs one predator that was hiding. The Fish has no chance of escape. It's fangs dig into the body of the fish and injects some fluid into it's body.
The previously golden fish turns slowly blue, while it's face becomes disfigured.
Then the beast ate it.
One could only hear the crunch of breaking bones, It's sharp brutal teeth shattering everything in it's mouth. No matter if stone or bone, everything was crunched.
Then it notices the skeleton and a group of fish that hid themselves near him.
Our Protagonist could only think that of course it notices his pet.
The Kraken was clearly enjoying the thought of eating auch a feast.
It opened it's gigantic mouth, enough force was used it, so that it created a small whirpool. Every fish that was close by was pulled inside it's mouth, no matter how hard they tried to flee.
Then everything turns dark.
Good that he can see in the dark... Or maybe not. thought our protagonist, because.. he doesnt wanted to see how it is to be digested live.
It feels like he and companians in misery are falling an endless tunnel. Covered in pink vulnerable flesh.
----------------------------------------
Our rat finally stopped falling. The fishes that were eaten are long death and His legs are covered in stomach acid. He let out a silent sigh.
He asked himself what he has done to deserve such fate.
The flesh of most of those fish was long gone, dissolved by acid.
He asked himself if he could escape. To climb out wasn't possible, if he tried to swim through the acid, his pet would just dissolve(also it wasn't something he wanted to do).
He looked at the pink vulnerable flesh and let out a little sigh...
----------------------------------------
The Kraken swam through the lake. It was like a like a magnificent King, that blessed everything with it's majestic aura. Like a king it swam, every cell of it's body practically radiated it's gigantic pride.
Everything feared him, it was a feeling it liked. It liked to know that it was above everything else. It liked the place that was well deserved his.
It thought about the fish it recently ate. It didn't know why, but something compelled it to fill it's hunger on this pile of bones that was with the fish. It usually liked more of the prey that would saturate with their stuffed bodies. It felt strangely satisfied by this perticular skeleton.
It swam through it's territory. Not caring about anything. It had no need to care about anything.
He was the king. Everything was below him. No being was stupid enough to bother him. Every being that would bother him was long gone.
Only he remained.
Every other that could scratch his scales or hurt it's flesh was no more.
Only he remained.
His goal of complete domination of this lake was achieved a long time ago.
Only pain remained.
A sudden stomach pain aussaulted his body.
----------------------------------------
It wasn't something he wanted to do, but something that had to be done.
The undead visibly cringed, but pinched his teeth together.
His pet began twitching and shaking, growling and rumbling, crackling and rattling. Black foam streamed out of the jaw of his pet. It was biting with it's full strenght.
The acid seemingly overpowering the resistence of the beasts mucous.
It ate itself out itself of the stomach. The flesh and the blood was dissolved by the strong acid. It digged itself though meters and meters of muscle.
The skeleton was covered in blood and dissolved muscle.
After a long time, too long, the rat came out..
----------------------------------------
It looked at the being that hurt him.
A being so small managed to hurt him.
A being that bothered him.
A being that harmed it's flesh.
A being that scratched it's scales.
He saw it fleeing. He wanted to chase it, but the small fish came. Fools attracted to it's blood and ink, thinking they would be able to thrust the king from it's throne and take it from him for themselves. He didn't like to deal with vermin like them.
A last look at the piles of bones.
It hoped this wasn't the last time it would see it.
He would take revenge for the spilled blood.
Only a smile remained.
