I woke up… Light was hitting my face as I open my eyes.

My mother… she’s still cooking? She’s cooking curry. It smells nice.

Kids are walking by the window, chatting and laughing.

I look outside as I see a sunflower field. It was really beautiful.

A child is sitting and crying?

My head hurts…

It really hurts…

Was all that just a dream?

I got up from my bed as my mother called me to eat.

“Hm?”

“I feel like I’ve been having a really reallyy long dream.”

“And what is that dream all about?”

“It was exactly like this. You’re cooking curry and it’s yummy! and then I went to school, I graduated and I went to high-school and also graduated, and then I went to the city! And then… I can’t remember.”

“Hmmm~ That’s probably a foreshadowing of your future my dear son.”

“Foreshadowing?”

“It’s like telling you what will happen in the future! Now you know you’ll go to the city when you’re old enough! Isn’t that nice~ ”

“But mom. I’ve had this dream a hundred of times now… “

“Hmmmm… you’re thinking of your future at a really young age Eien. You’re still 7. You shouldn’t worry about this sort of things and just enjoy what you have now. You can’t take back your childhood once its done you know~ “

But mom… I’ve woken up in this exact day, in this exact time for God knows how many times already! It’s really hard to breathe whenever I think about what happened. Was it all… really just a dream?
