Chapter 0

----------------------------------------

I looked down towards the swirling stars and planets.

I had stood here for eons, and the only thing thing that had propped itself in front of me was a simple question.

What was I?

I glanced around each and every planet, studying each civilization.

They were so tiny, so insignificant.

All of them were concerned of everything trivial. It was to their folly, and to mine as well.

I held my arm out in front of me, rotating my wrist while flowing my extended fingers.

The gas-like particles danced rhythmically along and in-between my hands.

Then, my body started to distort. My fingertips were first; they bent and twisted, then burst into tiny little particles and dust.

Then my entire arm, my feet, my legs, my body, and then my head.

This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.

I was gone. Dust, particle, flowing through the universe, but I still felt whole.

Moments passed, and once again my body started to reform, bending the space around me.

I arrived.

I looked down towards another swirling galaxy. It was the same here as well.

They concerned themselves with difference and indifference, forgetting that they're all the same.

Blood spread, misinformation directed, fragility halted, corrupt corrupted, and the chaos ensued.

Having watched it all for so long, I'd stumbled on a theory.

I was alone.

I, alone, am all. I am the the only capable, and none of these insignificant creatures mattered.

Yet, even so, I as well struggled with the insignificance.

What am I?

I am me, I am them, I am all.

All I ever was, and all I ever will be.

But is that really so?

How am I always was, and how am I always will be?

...Perhaps, I thought, that my answer had buried itself outside.

I once more extended my hand, my body rippling and bursting.

The dust settled and started to expand, crawling towards every inch of space possible in the universe.

1 year...2...3..10..50...9999999999.......

Eons passed, but now I had finally found it.

A tear in the vacuum of space.

I stared at it, but it seemed as if nothing was there at all.

But whenever a passing object would move through it, I felt a tiny pulse, a resonance, a ripple in space.

I extended my hand out to it, waiting no longer.

Perhaps I'd never see this place again.

But I needed to know.
