Pt. 1

Having a world full of monsters can be very scary. It is to some point I suppose. Then again humans also have a bad side. In the past monsters are forced to hide due to the fear of humans. Some monsters stayed in the surface but most of them suffered a horrible death from hangings, burning, and just plain old stoning. There are other monsters that found a way to be praised or be feared by humans. One of the monsters that managed to make the humans praise him is God. He made his own religion and he even was kind enough to create stories for the humans to follow. Other monsters copied the way God did things and created other religions of their own. Those monsters are special cases. Everything was good and peaceful. That is until crusades started happening. Humans started forcing other people to turn over their beliefs for theirs.The gods of the religions wasn’t impressed that other religion are forcing their beliefs. So all of the gods came down to earth to settle which one is the true religion. The other monsters in hiding had to pick a side for religion. All monsters from: zombies, witches, gorgons, and so on are forced. The gods all started the war which is now known as the “holy war”. Years passed and only two religions are still strong and won’t back down. Other religions were either annihilated or gave up in the war. The two religion that is left is satanism and christianity. It is basically a battle against angels and demons. The war continued for twelve more years. A vampire by the name of  Afanas Von Hell or what the old stories call him “Dracula”. He wanted to create a new religion so he decided to make a weapon that can tear down the gods. Many weapons were created by him but they all broke down since he is missing a part of his formula. The war still rages but some monster and humans have seen the wrong of their doing and are trying to live peacefully. Afanas was one of them since time has passed two years with the holy war still ongoing. During his lifetime he found someone he truly cared about and loved. Kali a female vampire slave to one of the high arch demons. Afanas was able to rescue Kali and in the end they got married and had a child. They named the male child Ingrum Von Hell. The vampire family was excited about the child but tragedy shook the family apart. During the year nineteen sixteen a bounty was placed on vampires by the catholics saying they are heretics. Humans and other monsters were hunting vampires left to right and killing without any pause. Afanas and Kali heard about the news and decided to take their child out in the woods to protect themselves. Another year has passed and the family settled down in the country with their farm. They also had a neighbor named Ivan he was a peaceful guy. One night however, Kali went outside to get some fresh air. Afanas was nursing Ingrum. Since Ingrum is a vampire he ages very slowly. A scream was heard outside the house and Afanas ran as fast as he can to Kali. In the end when he got there Kali was impaled by a tail of a demon. It was the same demon that enslaved Kali, the demon named Leviathan. One of a vampire's weakness is gold and Leviathan being the demon sin of greed has his tail encrusted with gold. Afanas enraged battled it out with the demon Leviathan. He won in the end but he still couldn’t save his wife he is also on the verge of death. Using the last of his strength he grabs Ingrum and bites the baby’s neck. The house was on fire from the fight and Afanas died in the fire. From what history today says Ingrum survived and was found by black market dealers. So he can either be a slave or a dead body. The holy war ended after fifty years. In the end no one won the war and everyone who participated in the war was turned into a “holy armament” by an unknown entity.

Pt. 2

BAM!

I was woken up by a loud thud by my clothes… That I was inside in.

“Ow.”

My sister opens the door without knocking. She was holding a blood bag with a tag “B negative” and was slowly sucking up the blood.

“Quinn if you don’t hurry up you’ll be late for school.”

I jump up and take a deep sigh.

“Vania… Why are you drinking a B negative blood bag so early in the morning?!”

Vania my sister grabs the doorknob and slowly closes the door. As soon as the door closes all I heard was footsteps scampering around. I scratch my head and grabbed a blood bag beside my bed with a mark “O positive.” As I drink the blood I taste a pinch of sweetness. The year now is two thousand sixteen. Humans and lusus naturae now coexist in earth. The term “monster” is now an offensive word to lusus naturae. For me I am a lusus naturae classified vampire. A treaty called “Atlas” was passed saying that lusus naturae are free to live on earth like any humans. Still all lusus naturae are going to be ranked by their threat level. I scramble all this idea in my head while I finish drinking blood from the blood bag. I go to the bathroom to get ready for school. Here in Manila everyone is busy that including my father. Me and my sister are the only ones living in this house. I don't pay rent though my father does that. I went outside and started heading to school.

I look left to right and saw a lot of lusus naturae talking with humans and lusus naturae. I reach my school which is a coed school for lusus naturae and humans alike.

“Hey! Looks like I beat you to school today Quinn”

The person who said that was my childhood friend Lev. Unlike me he’s human it’s weird to say he’s a childhood friend when I was born a lot earlier than he did.

“Do you think we’ll be able to find all the missing students today?” Lev asks as he centers his bag. I thought about it for a while and I just shrugged my shoulders.

“Well… Still to have the student council like us help isn't that bad of an idea really.” Lev says as we arrive in the classroom.

I’m in the student council being the president and Lev my vice. The student disappearances only happened recently and it caught the attention of many people. The community is scared for their children and as the student council we need to help as well.

“Hey, Quinn have you heard that a new student is transferring in tomorrow? I guess we have to look at his profile right?”

“Obviously. As the student council we need to know all the students… Even though it's only the two of us in it.” I said with a sigh.

Lev just laughs it off. The truth is there are only two members of the student council that's me and Lev. It’s a ton of work since we have to provide finances to clubs and dissolve clubs that doesn’t have enough members. The bell rings indicating class is starting. When class ended I walked to the student council room. There was papers on my desk it's either papers from the missing students or the transfer. I sat down on my chair and picked up the papers. It’s the transfer sheet. Lusus naturae orc… From what I heard orcs are number six on the physical strength. Considering there are a billion kind of lusus naturae in the world that’s impressive. I flip over the front page and I was surprised. “Ogal Vetorkag” so he is royal after all. In the line of orcs there is a constitutional monarchy established. When I said royalty I meant royalty. Ogal is the son of the fifth king Du Vetorkag. Orcs from the history books sided with the christians and from there lived a peaceful life. I flip over the page again. The next page was filled with negative comments coming from his old schools. “Doesn’t show any effort”, “Harasses other students”, “Will never learn.” That last one is kind of harsh. The door slides open quickly Lev panting.

“There is an orc causing trouble to other students at the front!”

I sighed and scratched my head as I walk out of the room to the front of the school. I arrive and there are students hurt trying to stop the huge orc. The orc was flirting with one of the female students. As an orc he looks exactly what you would expect. His head is that of a warthog and a body of giant human.The female student was clearly not having any of it and simply shaking. I walk towards the orc.

“You’re Ogal correct?”

The Orc doesn’t look at me.

“Ogal I’m going to ask you to back away from her. She doesn’t want to talk to you.” I said with a gentle voice.

“I don’t care what she wants I only care about what I want. Hey… come on cutie will you come with me? I’m a prince you know?” The orc said as he barely responds to me and continues to harass the female.

I place my hand on his arm.

“Come on… Don’t be stubborn. Even if you are royal you need to follow rules.” I said with a gentle smile.

“Don’t fucking touch me you slum rat!”

The orc swung his huge arm across my rib cage I flew right into the wall of the school.

“Kyaah!!”

Screams.

“He sure has done it now… I’m not gonna stay here to watch. Everyone who is not involved follow me it’s going to be ugly” Lev says as he walks in the school.

“You’re the vice right? Shouldn’t you stop that orc?”

“Hmm? Oh him? The president has it under control don’t worry.”

“The president was just sent flying!”

“Well yeah… Follow me anyway.”

Everyone was confused but all agreed with Lev and followed him inside the school. The only one left outside is the orc, a female student and a hole at the school wall.

“Good they are gone now.” The orc licks the female student and she cringed.

“Hey… Asshole…”

“Hu_”

CRASH

I smash the orcs face to the ground “listen to people when they are talking to you!”

As I smash his face a crater was made on the ground.

The orc recovers quickly and swings his fist at me.

“You mother fucker!”

A miss.

He stands and I land in front of him.

“You can leave now.” I said to the female student.

“Ah… Now you even let such a cutie get away from me. Don’t you know my name?! I am Ogal Vetorkad! The son of the fifth king of Kincardine! I can get you killed by a call! What’s more I’m in the highest tier of all lusus naturae when it comes into the physical aspect!” Ogal says as he laughs.

“Bla bla bla. Like hell I care. What you did is unforgivable!”

Ogal laughs and charges at me full speed and goes for a punch.

I lean slightly.

SWISH.

A complete miss.

I grabbed his right arm that he used to strike and used his momentum to throw him into the ground.

He coughs as his back lands on the ground.

“You piece of shit!”

He stands again and goes for another strike but misses the mark again.

“If I can’t hit you in just one strike how about one hundred?!”

This time he clenched both his fists and strikes with both his hands.

I lean and lean.

“Why the fuck can’t I hit you?!”

“You have quite the bad mouth don’t you?”

I duck under one of his swings and I kick him in the gut sending him flying.

“Hey… Shitty orc… If you’re number six on the physical aspect on all lusus naturae. Then me being a vampire is number one in that aspect.”

“What?”

I appeared before his eyes and I picked him up with one hand.

“A vampire you say?! Like I give a shit.”

Ogal winds up for a punch and it lands on my left cheek.

I spit out a little blood and I look at him.

“Is that all? Vampires are ranked fourth in defense too you know.”

I grab his face and slam it in the ground.

CRUNCH

“Know your fucking place.”

He coughs and scuffle a little bit. I crouch down and holds on to one of his tusks. I give him a simple smile.

“Let’s try again… My name is Quinn Serafino. You’re Ogal Vetorkag correct?”

He gives me a surprise look and talks.

“Serafino?! Don’t tell me… You’re the son of president Dario?!”
