Our protagonist, Joe, finds himself subject to mysterious changes in a near death event. On the journey searching for the reasons for his father's death, Joe learns about these changes whilst dealing with various personal issues. Ultimately he has rediscovered the lost art of cultivation and progresses down his path in a haphazard manner. Rediscovering lost ruins, ancient history and his own powers is only the journey. What remains his destination is amongst the stars where humans once roamed supreme.
