Waking slowly to the sound of the wildlife around me, I start to drowse again. -Wildlife?- Jumping up I open my eyes, immediately awake. All around me are leaves falling. The sources of nutrients during the warm times of the year slowly dying and falling to the forest floor.
All of this would be normal if not for the fact that it's not chilly out, but hot. Even more concerning is that all the leaves are blue!
-Where am I?- As this thought comes to mind I lose my balance, what I thought was the appropriate strength to get up quickly due to the possibility of danger actually propelled me into the air slightly. With a crash I fall to the ground, my reactions dull due to my confusion as well as still being addled from just waking recently.
More gingerly this time I push off the ground, testing my weight. "Must be because the gravity is lower on this planet.." Coming to a quick conclusion I go back to examining my surroundings. Out of vague curiosity I move over to one of the many trees around me. The color like the leaves is slightly blue, more so brown but still completely different from the greens, reds, and browns I'm used to. Running my hand across the bark I make note of the fact that where as it is slightly warm, the tree its self is actually cold to the touch. -How odd.- Thinking up to here I place it at the back of my mind. It's obviously a normal thing here, so I can always think on it later.
Moving out more so into an open area I start familiarizing my self with my new freedom of movements. Where as the gravity that we experience in the university and on ships is about 1.3 times that of earth, here it is .8. Throwing out a few punches and kicks I close my eyes and immerse my self in my regular routine. Running through a few different forms before settling into one that is more in tune with my faster movements. Slowly stopping I open my eyes.

Startled by the screen that had appeared in front of my face I jerk back. The screen following with for a moment before disappearing. "What?" Confusion fills my mind, -Was that like a.. Game screen or something? Am I in some simulation like my roommate? Did I get injured and need to be immersed into a virtual world?- Questions invade my mind as i try to understand the situation I am in. "Game screen huh?" -So what I should commands to do stuff right?-
"Can I call it back up? Log!"

Looking at my less than average stats I am a bit surprised for a moment. Being part of the elite in the university I was pretty far ahead of most others in my build. (140 lbs) -Must be because the mana naturally has a greater effect on muscle growth among other things.-

Looking around to make sure I am still in a safe environment I decide to go ahead and see what happens. Hitting accept I all the sudden feel a rush through my body, like something similar to blood all rushing to my head at the same time. Except that instead of warmth it is a comforting cold.
Sitting down I allow my self to sink into the feeling, enjoying the sensation. All to soon it begins to fade away as it collects along my spine. -Huh, must be where my mana pool resides.- As the last of it enters I feel a slight pain, as though something is stretching before the cold rushes back around my body causing similar pain to happen as rushes past. As the cold starts to fade so too does the pain until I can only feel it slightly along my spine.

Not really knowing what to do with my points I ignore it and try to emulate the feeling I got when the cold, no, mana passed through my veins. After 20 minutes of struggling I finally start to make my meager supply move around, moving it around my limbs I notice it starts to get a bit faster. within an hour I can move it around relatively freely.
Gained skill: Beginner Magic Manipulation.
