The blazing Amber's of the fire lit the night more than the moon,with wrecked debris claimed their territory as far as the city streched.smell of dried blood and iron was spread in the air,with as far the eye can see dead body of the civilians and armed forces were trapped in the debris while some were still alive waiting to die,the god has not shown mercy on them,iron rods or other metal Peirce the people's body while others has deep cuts of swords or arrows. Amidst the place where the hell looms a group of civilians armed with swords and bows,while some were armed with whatever they could find to attack and protect themselves were gathered in the cleared field, traces of dried blood and marks of clashes were still there, somehow the place was still able to host a gathering.

"Now!!my brothers and sisters do you all still think we should sit back and watch the aristocracy of those damn nobles,just because we are too scared to voice our anger and this damn fear has now what cost us our hometown and beloved ones,now I'm asking you all the last time who's with me??!!!!!"A man dressed in a classic millita clothing shouted at the top of his lungs,rage,anger, sadness and revenge was clear in his style of voice that he hold these emotions clearly burning alive in his heart.

 The villagers hesitated, although it was clear that they wanted to support him but the instinct of the human heart, fear of the dead and sorrowness they will face cower there heart,some started to cry at the spot while the mothers hug their children who were terrified at the sight of the city,the people and the friend they know now all gone...... gone reduced to atoms.[idk if it's the correct line to place a joke...]

The terrifying idea to rebel against the nobles of the empire linger their soul,it took every drop of courage for some to pick their weapons and join the leader that stand in front of them.

"Asilta san,don't forget this old man,will ya."An elderly man said said to me,although he barely support his body to stand up with a stick in his hand,but the taste of anger and revenge was sure enough in his voice,nice that's the courage that I want to see!

"Don't forget us too Alista-san and delo dono."A group of youngsters stand behind the elderly said.

"Good,good now that's the courage."I said as I patted the youngster's leader shoulder and continued

"Now,what about you guys?"I asked to the remaining civilians

Looking towards the shaking civilians,I could only thought of one thing pathetic, Pathetic!!your goddamn town and even beloved ones are dead and you guys are doing nothing but shaking in fear-

The sound of galloping horses cut my thoughts,in the distance I could see the dust throwed by the horses and the figures of several horseman, judging by the way they rode,they were armed and also has some luggage,and the time they will arrive will be probably approx. two minutes assuming the horses are the empire's warlord.

The sound was clear in the desolate scenery,pretty much heared by the townsfolk as they run to hide themselves,only me,dilo and the group of youngsters remained.

"Spread and surround them before attacking and identify them!"I ordered them.

"Understood!"the youngsters shouted (in low voice)  in response.

"Dilo dono" looking towards the elderly man in the distance who was gathering magical power I requested.

And in reponse he slightly nod his head.

Taking a deep breath to calm myself down,I thought of the possible outcomes.

A moment later

"State your purpose, imperial army."I ordered the seven horseman who wore fine leather armour with the symbol of imperial engraved in the middle of abdomen area,a sword overlap by three silver rings arranged in a triangular pattern.

"We are not here to fight,by any chance are the resistance group of this town?"the person that seems to be the leader asked me his face full of scars and the slightly trimmed beard gave the impression of an seasoned veteran.

"Fight my ass! are ya here to kill us because we choose to stand against the empire?"I asked them in a angry tone.

"No,we are not here to kill you,we too are a part of the revolt army and here to reinforce the town's defence but it's seem it's too late..."he said as he scratch the back of his head.

"Then show us proof."

"W-well if you wish."he then continued as he throw something from a sack towards us.

I up my guard,and the youngsters seems to have taken a step back.

As soon as the object dropped before is,tiny traces of semi dried blood appeared where the object was dropped,the object was actually a head....a head of a empire's noble,the black hair that covers the left eye was cut in many places,the right eye gouged out,pink traces of some tissue and dark violet-blue tiny pipes that seem to dried out could be seen in the eye socket,and a long cut of sword diagonally cover the face  stretching from right ear to the nose the ripped tissue of the face could be seem.

Although the face was pretty messed up but it was still easy to recognise the face of the devil of the empire or so they called him,count vok de von asylm known for the cruel deeds he had committed,but none stopped him,not even the  late emporer who fear him because if the count were to be disposed off,the empire will collapse,as he was like the prime minister to the empire from the shadows,from controlling the entire black market to owning the most of empire's mineral industry to being the leader of the noble's faction that has more influence than even  the emperor as without him the nobles would snatch the throne from the emporer,and of course no emporer would want their throne snatched by their subjects.

And of course I was shocked to see the face of the same person feared throughout the empire.i couldn't believe my eyes.

"Ho----how yo..u dare to lie to us!! which idiot would believe that face is real on-"before I could  bark back I was cut by the person standing a few metres in front of me.

"Ay,ay wait man,here" removing the glove on his right hand he showed the back of the same hand to us,expect of tiny hairs on his hand their was none....no symbol of valore,he continued

"A mage found a way to remove the symbol of valore and here we are ." or so he said.

"Delo dono" I looked towards the elderly man and just like always he slightly nodded his head.

"Fine..."(sigh)

"I'm Asilta,that old man is delo and the those brats are........."

"Hako." Said the leader of the youngsters.

"I see,I'm Naidu the leader of the main leader revolt army." the leader of the knights said and point behind his back and continued

"And they are Rio,Dio,Toa,Raph,Raku,Gaju."

"Alista-san"(faint noise in background.)

"May the know why a bigshot is doing here in a remote town?"I asked the leader of the revolt army who was currently picking up the head of the count.

while his subordinates begin to rescue the townfolks,the youngsters were also helping the knights and delo dono was using healing magic on the  wounded ones.

"Alista-san"( faint noise in background, grows a little louder.)

"Well about that......."he said as he scratch his left chin with his fore finger "there's the reason" he pointed towards a figure arriving towards our direction,wait that's priest nim.

he was running like there's a monster chasing him,as he arrive at a particular distance from us

"What happened priest nim?" I asked.

"Al..alista-san,I th--tho-ught y-ou we---re de-'hic'dead" priest nim said while hugging me,tears from his eyes wet the shoulder part of my dress.

"Wha...priest nim what happened!?."

"A-Alis..ta sa'"before he can fully said what he wanted the leader of the revolt army interrupt us.

"Amm,excuse me are the priest of this town?"

"Sniff'sniff'hic'Ahh knight commander please tell me that those knights that attacked us were the devils controlled by those damn mages!"priest nim asked the leader while hugging him from the waist and crying.

At this moment I didn't feel his presence,Toa appeared beside me taking his sword out of the sheath hanging on his waist,he made eye contact with Naidu,who was trying to calm down the priest,for a moment it seems they were conversing with their eyes.

"Wait!what are y-"with a swift movement Toa swing his sword to rip the neck of the priest,it was a smooth swing but for some reason when the sword was at the centre of the neck,Toa suddenly change the direction to upwards.

Spreak'

Blood splattered around the area and as well as on me and the leader's and Toa's clothes,leaking like water from a pipe,a puddle of blood formed from the headless body of the priest.

Dhak'

The head of the priest fall from the sky a distance away from Toa,with the spinal cord still hanging from the head,pieces of meat and other tissues,still hang on the roughly plucked out spinal cord.

Surrounding people looked at us with surprised gazes

Arghhh'

Hearing a screem from Toa,I suddenly looked towards him,I widen my eyes at the sight he was acting like a madman,tearing apart his face with his own fingers.

"Toa!! Calm down,del-"before the leader can continue.

Spark' tdhaak'

A massive flame engulfed Toa burning him alive,he scream like crazy,Naidu took a few steps back,a transparent barrier appeared out of knowhere trapping him inside,the temperature of the flames was such that it could easily burn steel in a second.

We watch in horror,as the body of Toa turn into ashes

THIIIK'

A black glue substance that seems to be alive jumped towards the barrier,trying to escape,however it was for unable to,in a second the flame's temperature rose so high that the back glue like creature burned to death,not even it's ashes remains.

Luckily the flames only lasted for a minute or otherwise we too would have burned to death.

"Sir Naidu,would you perhaps explain what is going on? I'm sure you have come for the priest."delo dono walked beside me,unlike his usual tone,the way he behave was sure that it was no small matter.

"I-i am sorry to hide it from you,but it's something we can not talk here.."the leader said,fear was evident in his voice just now.

"Alista and Sir Naidu,please follow me."delo dono said in a angry tone,this is the first time I have seen him expressing so many emotions in a single day.

"Rest of you,stay here and do your assigned work"Naidu ordered his remaining subordinates "Now shall we go Alista?".

"Yes..yes!"

Year 1358,Month 5,Day 4.

A lone majestic fortress stood at the centre of a semi circled crystal clear Lake or so was it should be,now stained by the blood of countless patriots and the tyrant's followers, it's ramparts that were the pride of the empire now has deep crevices and clear marks of large boulders smash against them, silhouettes of several figure could be seen roaming the walls with many balistta's figure slightly entering the field of view.

A lone figure,stood at a cliff a distance from the fortress the moon light reveal his face,clad in a silver armour that has many scratches,his face emitted an aura of a predator lurking in the forest and gazing at his prey,his wild overgrown blonde hair, flutter from the passing wind.

"Lord Alsita"a soldier called out to the figure,making his way from the wild bushes he arrived at a clear patch of land,still a few metres away from Alista.

"Sir delo and Sir Naidu are requesting your presence"he said as he tried to catch his breath.

"Fine,lead the way" taking a last gaze at the fortress,he made his way towards the camp of the revolt army.

Khiicc,ting"''bhhhak''

Alista quickly position his sword's sharp side towards the the fortress with a movement invisible to naked eye.

And in a second, something tiny clashed with his sword and  slightly disposition it backwards.

Without hesitating,he quickly made his way towards the revolt army camp, taking a glimpse at the fate of the soldier who came here report to him,now lay dead at the ground.

A hole towards the right side of his forehead,the metal piece sparkle as moonlight fall on it.

Thak'"thak"'

Running throughout the woods Alista could hear loud explosions originating from the camp,large amount of dust and smoke cover the sky.

When Alista arrived at the camp,he see soldiers  running here and there doing their respective task, although it was a normal sight before a battle, seeing large amount of casualties already even before they have started the battle or either side has,he was left speechless.

"Delo dono"Alista shouted towards the old man who was strengthening the barrier with the other mages.

Soldiers leave large crates of mana stones,for it to all extinguish as the explosions colliding with the barrier seems to increase.

"Alista!! The imperial army has ambushed us and they also have weapons from 'them'!!" Delo said as he and alista runned towards the camp where all the generals have gathered.

"Report casualties!" Upon hearing the orders from the general,a soldier hastily looked at the documents in his hand.

"Fr-om t..he ambush, around thirty percent of our forces are d-e-ead,or either gravely injured.and on top of that more than forty percent are injured with minor injuryies."

"So....half of the army is useless...."general Riko said as looked at the map of fortkilte[1].

"Delo dono of the old age,what's your wisdom?"

Delo smacked the head of Riko with his metal cane.

"I told you to never call me that,and what the hell does that mean?"

"Iiiik'please forgive me,delo dono!"

Surrounding people laughed at the exchange between them.

"We need to attack as soon as all the forces are assembled,since they have weapons provided by 'them', assuming if they have more of the meteor magic or whatever was it,we will we defeated by tomorrow's late night.

"Oho"delo said with an amused smile,while reading the parchment.

Nearby generals were happy as this mood of him suggested they have received a good news.

"What it is delo dono,hurry up and tell us!"a nearby general requested.

"Kingdom of Kainol has decide to send us three dragons"

Upon hearing this peice of news, all presented inside the news jumped out of happyness.

"Perhaps winning against the empire is possible now."A nearby general thought out loud.

Upon hearing this delo said calmly,still anger was present in his tone.

"Don't be foolish idiot,we still haven't attacked the frotkilt and already half of our army is rendered  useless,even after this we still have to attack the imperial palace,and on top of that,'they' also have sent weapon to the empire,we still aren't sure whether those weapons are toys or they are actually serious.

And last but not least,our enemy is not only empire alone,'they' too are our enemy.

This is nothing but a start,we still have a long way to go."

"Hic'i apologize!delo dono please forgive me."

Delo just slightly nodded his head.Alista on the other hand was quite during the meeting.

"Anything on your mind,Alista?" Delo asked

Standing up from his seat,Alista walked towards the table where chess like board was set up displaying the fortkilt and their Army formation.

Alista rearranged the red units(revolt army) replaceing cavalry with heavy cavalry as vanguard,and behind them with land dragons,follows by foot soldiers and heavy ballista.

And cavalry as vanguard for left and right flank,followed by a company of mages and arrow spreader ballista.

Lastly he removed the two dragons from offensive and assigned them to mages for maintaining the barrier of the vanguards.

Removing the support of the rear mages from main flank vanguard to the other flanks cavalryies.

After a thoughtful second,he assigned the remaining dragon for support.

Rearranging the wyvers from second offensive to rangers behind the foot soldiers.

"What about this?"Alisa asked.

"What!?are you out of your mind Alista,why the hell you removed dragons from offensive to support?we have been provided the golden chance to use the-"Before a general could question him for his foolishness,delo interrupted them.

With a light tap of Delo's wooden stick,the raging general calmed down.

"Mind explaining what you do that,Alista?"Delo asked,the generals too wanted their answers.

Next day

Countless arrows and ranged magic flew in the vast sky attacking the ramparts of a majestic fortress,in return the large army marching towards the castle too received heavy fire from ballistas and other counter magic only it too be nullified by the mages barrier or either the heavy cavalry's shields.

Landscape was sprouting fire,as the destroyed ballista's remanants fall on the marching soldiers,some were crashed under it's massive weight or some were burned alive,from the catching fire.

Left flank,revolt army.

Marching with a high speed the cavalry's lances easily peirce the the imperial knights, although they were short on number,there instincts from countless battle against them gave a huge advantage.

The arrows from the arrow spreader too gave them a chance to relax as the imperial knights perish before they even could step a foot on the battlefield.

"General Tao!"A cavalry knight reported to a general,who has strikingly resemblence to Toa who was burned alive by delo.

"What it i-"

Boom'

A massive explosion happened,in front of him.

Noticing the direction from where it came from he quickly ordered his troops.

"Everyone, all defenses to left and follow me!."he shouted, quickly taking the rein of his horse he began March towards the barrie erected by the mages.

Taking a look behind him,what he saw was counless bodies of both the knights and his troops,ripped to shreds or having thier body burned by the explosive magic from the group of metallic beasts.

Having an ounce of regret,he masterfully commanded his troops into retreating.

Countless lights from the heavy machine guns spark,easily piercing the shields of incoming heavy cavalry, showing no mercy to either ally,enemy or whatever came into it's way.

"Prepare another volley!"A person that seems to be the leader shouted.

"Quite busy Aren't we?"A middle aged man, casually walking in this though time asked,eating a piece of carrot from a skewer without a care in the world, dressed in a modern attire worn by a high ranking military officer,the button on his belly threaten to break off from the bulging of his overgrown stomach.

"If you have nothing worth to say,then please don't disturb us." the captain said with clear hint of disgust in his voice.

"We,you guys are seriously no fun." He said as he watched the ongoing battle from the second wall of the castle.

"Well..at least it's good to see you guys are using those tanks well."he said and then continued

"For an inferior civilization as yourself,you guys sure know how use those gems well."he said in a way....ya know the way when those 3rd rate superpowers talk with the mc country that has been isekai'd and underestimate them.

"Listen,you little piece of shit! I respected you  as a fellow high ranking officer,but what are you doing here is now crossing a certain line!!"

Hearing a disrespect towards his motherland,he couldn't control himself and lose the restraints of his,not only himself but every empire's subject present their couldn't help but agree with the commander.

Losing his focus from the battlefield was a mistake because......

From now what remains in the corridor of the second rampart of fortkilt,a massive hole remains, peeking from it were a massive eye,with pink iris.

The eye seeing that some survivors were still left,it moved away from there and the next second a massive claw of a dragon smashed the place.

Light of the sun glitter his pink scales in the devasting battlefield,and the combination of his blue scale at the same time gave a morale boost to the revolutionaries.

Station within the gaps in the forest near the first rampart of fortkilt,Main battle heavy tanks that has strikingly same appearance as Tiger II concentrate their fire on him, although their fire did nothing but scratch him a little,but it was still better than nothing for the empire as they have nothing to counter these dragons.

The dragon flapped his massive wings,which crated a heavy gust of winds,that caused the nearby debris to rampage as it fall,the dragon flew backwards.unfortuanatly it was late,a massive mountain shaped like a disc erected from the land, destroying nearly a quadrant portion till the third wall of fortkilt,the blue dragon that majesticly stand near the second wall,now was cut in half.

Total chaos spread throughout the battlefield on both side as a third party entered.

Same day evening.

Castle fortkilt,main fortress.

Walking through the corridor that has just minimum decoration,a lone figure walked, leaning against the wall,blood from the wound located at the kidney side of his abdomen  leaved a long straight line of blood on the same stone wall, Clattering sound can be heard from his armour,along the halogen lamp that dimly illuminate the corridor.

Sensing a presence from a room beyond the corridor,he slowly made his way there.

Swiftly arriving at the entrance of the room,slowly and carefully opened the door enough to peek inside and there he saw a young man with black messy hair,dressed in a normal attire wearing a loose khaki coloured shirt with a match of light brown pants,sitting on a wooden window frame and having his back face the frame,he sat and overlook the battle unfolding before him and taking a sip of rose red wine from a normal glass cup, casually like he was watching a drama.

Taking a quick run,he arrived beside the young man, pointing his sword at his neck,he asked.

"What cha doing here boy?"

"Eii old man,at least distance your sword or I would die here even if I breath."

"I don't have time for that,tell me what are you doing here."

"Errrrr- just like as you can see,I'm seeing, hearing, breathing and sensing whatever stimulate my skin's nerve cell."

Feeling irritated he bring the sword closer to the young man's neck,blood dripped from a lit scratch.

"Fine~fine I'm just watching some nice drama here,and drinking my favourite rose wine,want some,ojii-chan?" He asked.

Trying his best to calm his anger,the man in armour said.

"If you value your life,take me to the throne room."

"Hey!hey! If that was the case you should have said it earlier Now follow me!"acting like a kid,the man leave behind his wine and runned off somewhere in the castle,the man too followed him.

Following him for a moment the man arrived near a section of the castle,gazing at a room what he saw were it's floor was covered in white tiles,that has a layer of dark coloured layer of thick cream easily visible.

"Now take your time~~" he said in a kiidy tone.

The man was confused wondering where he was,still on guard he looked around a bit and he saw a sign where in bold letter [W.C] was written.

"In which way does it look like a throne room to you?"the man clad in silver armour asked threateningly.

"Ei,ei wait there's no throne room in this castle and I have heard many knights call this throne room so I thought you were looking for this"

Still controlling his anger the man asked.

"Then,tell me where's the emporer?"

"........... aren't I the emporer in front of you.?"

";-;"

"Then why are you dressed like that?"the man dumbfounded asked.

"What? it's my right as a human to wear what I want,who the hell are you to judge me,I'm gonna sue you for violating my freedom rights.

Acting like a character straight out of a drama,the young man said.

With the amount of stupidity radiating from the emporer,the man couldn't control his anger and thus the bar(imagenery) above his head skyrocketed its limit.

Pinning him against the wall he peirced his sword on the young man's arms,blood started to pour... still the young man didn't even bet an eye,and just stood against the wall like nothing happened.

"Tell me....tell me! Why did you massacre all those people.....they d-hic' -id never wr-ong to you,they didn't even oppose you....when you snatched the throne from your brother!!!then...why did you...hic'p do that."drops of tears started to drop from his eyes as he said that.

"Seriously (sigh) why did you people even oppose when you got this golden chance."the emporer said in a cold voice.

"Does people life look like toys to you?"

"..... honestly speaking maybe and maybe not.."

Taking back his sword,he placed it's tip just at the front of the young man's forehead."

"Any last wish?"he coldly asked.

"Yes, a question........may I ask?"

"Go ahead,and remember to savor this moment,I'm going to torment you once we will be both  in hell."

"How are you going to deal with 'them', if you kill the one who know's the most information about em'?" He asked in a casual carefree tone with a smirk on his face.

"You bas-...fine tell me,and I will give you a painless death."

"Ummmm,for that,follow me."he said.

 The man clad in armour, unpinned his arm, cleaning the blood on the sword from his hand,he placed it in its sheat,and took out a revolver.

Aiming the revolver at the head of the young man he followed him from behind.

After walking for an hour or two,they arrive at a basement of sort,there was no source of light,cobweb and clouds of dust were all over the place.

Searching the wall,the young man tap at a dusty plate of some sort of strange material,a lamp,placed under the ceiling lit up.

Illuminating the room just a little,as the cobwebs and clouds of dust blocked the rest of light.

Taking a sort of metal cylinder from a closet inside the wall,he open the tap of it,flames sprurt out of, burning any dust or cobweb.

A moment later,the flames were extinguished and only a little amount of it remain.

"What's your name?"the young emporer asked.

"Alista..,Alista dencio."

Hearing his name he just nodded.

"Do you even know why they are feared?" The emporer asked flipping pages of a thick leather bounded book.

"To be honest I don't know anything about them,all I know is they are powerfu,far powerful than the empire,even at its peak."

"Then let me introduce them to you"he gave Alista a book whose cover was smooth,dark coloured,with strange objects embedded on them(think of the book as light novel covers).

"All the information,we has reveals that they are a civilization same has us, however they can't utilise magic nor socery,so they has pretty much a strange power they call science and also they are of worst of worst devils who will not hesitate even a little,when dropping core magic like rain drops." 

'says the one who massacred millions and don't even fell ounce of guilty.'thought Alista.

"Wait if they are that much powerful,why don't they have conquered the world yet?"

"I'm good question,well there civilization is beyond the world's edge."

"If er...- then how did those weapons are here?"

"They transported it by a so called hydrogen balloon called zeppelin."

Alista didn't know what to do now, seeing him wandering in his thoughts,the young emporer ask

"Didn't you think,why the church didn't interfere with the revolt army or why the empire didn't use its full military power against the battle with you guys?"

"Congratulations!! It seems your brain is working at full capacity" the emperor said with a smiling face, clapping his hands.

"The church,to began with- wait didn't it was founded with  the founding of the empire,during the Marillk age,and it always oppose mages.So,you are trying to say that church was actually an entity observing the empire on behalf of them,.....then that doesn't explain why the empire didn't use its full force?"Alista bewildered at the thought asked the emporer.

"Because the empire used this chance to eradicate the church by disguising it's army as revolutionaries, although we do lose around"counting numbers on his finger like a child he continued"seventy percent,well it do destroy the church,so I guess it was worth it? And around eighteen percent join your army,so yeah we do suffer quiet a bit."

"T......th-en it doesn't explain you are saving the empire but killing it's people at the same time,the fuck did you just want?"

"What are you saying I was saving the empire and it's people all along."the emporer asked tilting his head sideway with a imagenery question mark floating above his head.

"You!you call massacring them as saving well,watch your mouth before I kill you,and not a painful death."

Ignoring Alista's threat he point towards a thick,and I mean really a thick book, it's height ispanning almost seven feets.

"Thou shall reach heaven if killed mercilessly,thou shall not know the reason why thee died and shall thee will reach us' these lines are written on its 7777777th page and it's seventh line.

 "The fuck that's?"

"The real holy emblem, written by an actual god."

"Wait you are telling me you actually read that while book?"
