-The Massacre of the Helpless

A solitary village burns bright, buildings collasping under their weight as fire eats away at their supports. At the center of the village is a small plaza where once upon a time was the hub of life in the village, an area filled with commotion and joy. Now though, it's a place filled with corpses, flies just starting to feast on the pile of meat. However, one body shows movement. A young boy crawls out from underneath the body. He feels nothing. He gets onto his knees, turning his head around and around at the carnage. He sees nothing. To him, time is at a standstill. When a dozen of mounted riders rush into the annhilated village, he does nothing. However, there is something that he will do.

He will not forget.
