In a dark alley, there wasn't any sound but footsteps, plunging in the mud and going out completely recovered.
The girl, Katil, could not be seen, as the night already fell on this city. Not like she wanted to be seen anyways. She was hurt, and she wanted to forget her pain. The orange-brown haired girl lose someone important, that no one could ever replace.
She walked silently until a door opened at Katil's right and someone showed her to enter. She put her hoodie behind her ears and agreed. Inside, we showed her where to sit and a man, probably around his thirthy, was waiting for her playing with a glass. As he saw her coming, the man gave it to her. Katil didn't even thank him and drank it all.
-Slowly, slowly, said the man. What's happening so you're coming here again? Last time you came, it was because...
He shut up, not wanting to revive an old pain. Katil's parents died, years ago. No one ever knew why. This city was weird, everyone knew it. No one wanted to live here but some did, knowing life wasn't at a big price and if you were lucky you could be happy. Many thought it was just bad rumors anyways.
-You... you had big problems, the old man corrected himself.
-Well... it looks like I'm having some, again...
Katil's voice was broken while saying this, as she asked for another glass.
-What's that anyways, the teenager asked while pointing it, now empty.
-Our specialty. You'll have to ask Myara if you want some, I don't have any more.
She growled, showing she didn't like that girl. The named Myara didn't take a while to come. Her red hair was almost flying through the room, in a beautifully made ponytail. All the boys turned their heads to look at her, she was the center of the attention with those simple clothes and this perfect body, even if she was a bit lacking breasts. Myara stared at Katil with her big wide, golden eyes, looking even better with that purple eye shadow, in Katil's turquoise ones.
-It's been a while, she simply said.
Katil answered to her by showing her empty glass, obviously saying she wanted some more.
If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
-Hey girl, we don't have any more of that!, the waitress said clearly annoyed. You know that when you wanna come here you need to tell and pay us days before!
Katil sighed. She knew this even if she didn't come that often.
Bars were illegal in this city, alcohol being quite rare and people always going insane after that. This place wasn't known by many. It was very well hidden and you could only enter if you had some contacts linked to the bar or else, it was too bad for you.
For Katil, it was Myara. They were cousin, and the orange haired girl was the other's adoptive sister, when her parents passed away. They liked each other, but hated them at the same time.
-Just give me anything...
The sad girl's voice was so desesperate, Myara felt bad for her and served as many glasses as she wanted but then the man stopped them. He said that Katil's was better to go back home. She didn't argue and went clumsily to the door. Both her cousin and the mysterious man hoped she'd be fine.
Outside, the air was hot, but Katil put back her hoodie just in case. Not knowing if she was only hallucinating because she was drunk and it was the night, the girl thought she saw a man all in black. She blinked and he disappeared, but she sensed a hand on her shoulder at the same time. Katil freaked out and looked behind her but he disappeared again. She wanted to scream and call for help but didn't have time to. A soft and warm hand was on her mouth.
''I'm sorry.'' Were the words that confirmed the black silhouette was a man.
Everything went black as Katil's head bumped onto the wall.

Thanks for reading, I honestly hope you guys like even if this story is very ''cliché'' in my opinion. Please take note that my first language isn't English and I'm doing this fiction just for a little fun between friends.
Chapter two'll probably come during the week, enjoy!
