Silver Port is one of the few harbors that exist and it is has ships that regularly go to two locations; Tel’nathar the city of the dark elves and Alamar Port. While there is a smuggling problem the criminal elements of the city are largely ignored as long as they stick to smuggling. After all, it does still bring in revenue to the people from the sales taxes that are the only type that the nation of Shael uses.

Ria apparently knows whatever nobility thing they are worried about is, so I can ignore that for now and focus on the more immediate issue of how we can deal with our escape. Leaving now while possible is too soon. There would be too much risk of not being written off.
We need to make our move in the forest, maybe during the battle itself. We have decent equipment, more than the other fodder we have been grouped with. Invisibility and some misdirection should be able to cover us. I’ll need to continue experimenting and find a better method of invisibility, one that doesn’t dim my vision.
Light constructs? If I can make better illusions that may be enough. Wait, I glance up at the almost full moon, barely visible in the afternoon sky. Could I duplicate moonlight? Making the moon suddenly full while I flee would probably decimate or eliminate the Althaen. There has got to be more to moonlight than just the color, else even a minor Illusionist would be able to negate the reason they are attacking on the new moon.
Unless they have a way of countering magic here too. Can I sabotage it? I don’t see anyone that looks particularly wizardy, antimagic items then? I need more information.
“Ria do you know what they would be using to counter the mages among the werewolves?” I ask in a low voice.
“Wizard Slayers, Templars and Antimagic Crystals.”
I can’t do anything about the training some of the Althaen have but I may be able to see that some of the item that they are using to go missing. At least if I am able to find them and they aren’t too big. Though I am going to need some way to identify them. Personal firepower and illusions may be more useful though. I do however have roughly two weeks left to figure out how to do and implement these ideas.
“How are we going to get past all of this to run away?” Abagail asks in a whisper.
“Illusions or brute force?” Bryan half asks and half answers.
“I’m not sure yet. Probably a mix of the two.”
“Shock, awe and then run away during the distraction?”
“That and see if I can tilt the battle against our captors in all but name.”
I feel a tug on my arm and turn to Ria. “Teach Ria, your language?” she asks.
She must have felt left out with everyone else talking in English.
“Sure, but after we get out of here.”
“Okay” Ria smiles at me.

It is late into the night when the crawling march comes to a stop and it is announced that we may rest until the march begins again at dawn. We are given neither food nor sleeping gear but we had gotten our own through Griff weeks ago.
I pass Ria a chunk of bread before starting to set up a tent. The weather doesn’t make the tent needed but I know Ria and me will end up snuggling naked and I don't want others to see her like that.
Bryan begins to help me but I whisper to him quiet enough for Abagail not to hear, “I’d like to have the tent to myself.”
“Why? There’s enough space for all four of us.”
“Personal time with Ria. Besides, you could do the same thing with Abagail.”
“You know?”
“Every time I knocked before entering the building was because you hadn’t noticed me earlier.”
And my friend is embarrassed but he does nod with a smile. He then walk over to Abagail and they whisper for a minute or two before she turns red while nodding slightly. As they’re talking Ria helps me finish setting up.
It only takes a minute for the two of us to get it set up. Ria is whispering something as she does so.
Once we are done I ask, “what spell did you cast?”
“Sound Suppression” she answers before licking my cheek and walking into the tent while swinging her hips slightly, my eyes following each movement for those few seconds.
Why must she make me restraining myself so difficult?

The next full moon has finally arrived, this afternoon I’ll be fighting to make K mine again and tonight under the full moon I need to get Moonlight Runner to accept me. I lay in a stream in the woods as I finish off the last of the dragon who tried to take over my body. Even after eating dragon meat for every meal for a month I still do enjoy it, just not as much as I did at the start. I still want more, just not white dragon meat; at least not right now.
I lick my hands clean as every drop does count towards me being a Dragon Knight before stretching and admiring myself. Kylana’s guess was right on when she thought that I would recover my older body if I managed to recover my essence as she called it. I’m taller than the boys that were teaming up against me in Naliya’s class now, the same height as my K; roughly six and a half feet. Which I do not think is my full height, the dreams showed me that I was taller than her but I cannot count on every detail being the same as it was in then. Me being in the past has to have changed many things about this world.
I glance at the sun, it is almost noon. I have two maybe three hours before the Paring Howl is to begin. I sit back down in the stream and begin to meditate.

I finished Dragon Knight then, I smile all it took was a month of near nonstop eating. At least when I was not in front of others. Which was most of the time after I managed to put together a small house. I glance at my ever-growing amount of SP and wonder when I should put it to use. I feel like there is something I could be using it for but I haven’t hit the wall in anything yet. I’ve slowed down in several things but it feels more like I’ve gotten to where I was, rather than I exhausted my ability.
Should I spend a bit, just to get a bit of an edge? I don’t think anyone will beat me but K might be difficult. I can hold my own but I haven’t actually won any of our spars. I’m more skilled in magic but she still has more raw power.

I don’t know what this is but I feel like it is powerful. I can assume that the higher the cost the more powerful it is and I have no idea how to progress further in this on my own. The names of all but the top seem to be themes of some sort. I make the purchase of the most expensive option available. As soon as I do I swear as I notice what the purchase did.

That was the attribute that I did not know what it is, but it did not just raise it. Increasing it also lowered my mana attributes which I have been working so hard on increasing. I close the screen, I can’t risk losing the power that I’ve been working so hard on just to get a different one that I do not know how strong or useful it is. And I just burned nearly half of the SP that I have been building up over near three months.
I end my meditation with a frown and test to see if there is anything different with my body. I need to know if the system actually does give improvements with what is purchased. I know that the Racial Classes are real even if they just might be a reflection of my actual body and race.
Once I finish with my tests, which amount to little more than a few rocks and a jog, I turn back to the village. I arrive shortly before the two that I assume are my competitors. Those that are considered too young are brought back to the hut of their respective parent and told not to leave for the night. Other than those that are too young it seems to be that almost everyone else is here.
Several more minutes pass and Kylana speaks up, “those that do not want their mate to get you a new den sister may remove him from the field.”
Many of the women of the village then whisper to the men they are mated to before both move to the side leaving only a few in the middle of the field. Myself, Ragnan, Tallen and four older males that did not have as many women around them. They are young, twenty or so but still older than me and the other two.
Of course, that is only the males that are still in the middle of the field. Aside from us there are several young women, eleven to be exact, and three that are older. Widows or spinsters, either way there is only one of them that I want.
