Ullach heard in silence what the clerk said, word by word. He was simply speechless! Hannah escaped from her clan, but in the end, it was for nothing.
She only wished to be free, nothing else, and even this wasn't possible. He clenched his teeth in rage and squeezed the flower in his hand. Almost as if the flower was the neck of the elder that came to kidnap her.
"They will pay!" I thought to myself.
Ullach went through very few moments of happiness in his life, and there were very few people that he truly cared for, and in this last month, Hannah had become one of those people!
Although there was not enough time to say their relationship had developed "love", Hannah was still a good friend of his, and they had shared many, many things. He couldn't even properly describe what he felt for her, just like a bird that flew for the first time still needed to get used to the feeling of wind of its wings.
He looked at the clerk and nodded his head in thanks. No word could come out of his mouth now. He silently left and went toward the elevator.
Thankfully, there was no one in the elevator. He pressed the button to go to the underworld hall and closed his eyes.
Breathing deeply, I calmed my emotions. There was no use in going to the underworld with a hot head, that would be no good.
A million thoughts of going to her clan to rescue her passed through my head, but I knew that it was useless.
She would probably be watched even closely be the clan, they wouldn't give her another opportunity to escape. The only thing that would help was to get power! Only true power could solve something like this.
I knew that even if I was beside her when she was captured, it would be useless. The only thing that I could do was watch while she was taken away, and if the elder realized our relationship, I could be killed as well.
It was an inevitable situation, and Hannah knew that someday like this could arrive at any moment.
Organizing my thoughts, I began to plan. There were other options as well, but I didn't like them. One was to ask the help of Althaea in this situation.
She was a well-known person, that held a lot of personal power, even dragons agreed to meet her and do some favors. I could probably ask her to talk to the clan, to at least arrange a marriage with her, I thought that she could at least do this much.
The second option was to go to my clan...
Just like the Grian's had hegemony of the north, the Solas had hegemony of the southwest as well. However, I had no power in the clan, and I would have to ask for a favor from my brother.
I knew that if I returned now, and showed them what I had achieved, I could probably be groomed by the clan as well.
It was not every day that you see a new energy being created and a person with affinity to the concept of destruction. However, I left my clan, and wouldn't go back on this decision!
The problem was, Althaea had vanished, and I don't know where to find her, or when she would return, so, the only solution left would be to train like a madman!
In the present, the origin energy inside of me was only on the first stage, but I knew that that wouldn't last for long.
I could groom it much quicker than a normal person because of my soul force, an advantage that few had.

The door of the elevator opened, and I stepped out.

after going through the procedures to enter the underworld, I quickly passed through the first floor. I didn't even consider it.
After getting to the 2nd floor, I also choose to ignore it. My powers had grown exponentially. My fighting power had gotten much more powerful after having trained with Lamark and Haliel. I could control my sword like my limbs know, with naturality and finesse, and could combine my powers perfectly with my fighting style.
Sometimes, it was not a matter of being powerful or not, but how you used your powers. many people that were at the fifth or sixth time, could only show the fighting power of a fourth tier abyssal.
That happened because they didn't know how to properly use their powers. A good example for comparison would be, a sword would be more powerful in the hands of a child or a grown man?
The motive because abyssal's could exhibit almost 100% of their powers, was because they were a warring race. The abyss was a land of constant wars, the factions in there lived to fight, and the newborn abyssal's fought since they first came into this world.
Of course, most of them were not so intelligent, and mostly relied on instincts, but even so, their fighting prowess was great.
I descended to the second floor but only briefly looked at it, I choose the route to the third floor and entered the tunnel.
Getting in front of the stairs, I felt horrible energy coming from there. From the third floor onward, things would be very, very different.
The abyssals got more intelligent on the third floor, and could even use some concepts to fight. Because of this, many divers choose to stay on the second floor, after all, going to the third was too dangerous.
I gritted my teeth and let the flames of determination burn inside of me. I wouldn't back down now!
I stepped forward and descended the stairs. I could feel the space distorting around me while I descended the stairs.
When I arrived at the bottom of it, I looked around and was surprised! There was no ceiling in here, just a red sky!
Although there were no stars, sun or moon to illuminate it, the sky still glowed in an ominous red color.
I looked back and saw that the stairs slowly distorted the more you looked up until they disappeared at some point. I deduced that the stairs were enchanted, just like the rest of this place, to create a portal the led from the second to the third floor and back.
So… The third floor was not a cave, but a pocket dimension. I supposed that the demons from the third floor onward could broke through the enchantments on a normal wall, and some precautions were taken because of it.
With Purbás in hand, I choose a direction and choose to walk to it.

The place was almost a desert, having barren earth and distorted trees. nothing could be done about it though, the plants from our dimension were not acclimated to the abyss energy.
I walked cautiously through the place but felt that I was too exposed. there was no place to hide, and I could be spotted from far away.
Being left in the open here was truly dangerous. I began to think of a way to move furtively and insight came to me.
I had comprehended the mortal level of the concept of darkness!
After arriving at this realization, everything became easier. I concentrated the origin energy on the surface of my body, and used the concept of Darkness on it, to create a cloak of shadows.
Although there was an illumination on the third floor, because of the red sky, being covered in a cloak of shadows would lower the possibilities of being seen or spotted by an enemy.
After making sure that I was better hid. I began to explore the place. From time to time, I could see signs of battles. The ground being destroyed, or even craters, bodies that were left to rot and broken weapons.
From what I could see, dangers were lurking everywhere in here. You could walk a few meters and be ambushed by abyssals. You could be resting and be assassinated, and most importantly, I knew that the abyssals were not the only danger of this place. The people were very dangerous as well!
The ones that could arrive at this floor were at least veterans, that fought countless hours on the first and second floor to temper themselves, no weakling could be found here.
Being extremely careful was the least I could do in here.
I looked ahead and saw that finding a path in here would be complicated, there was no indication of where to go. On the upper floors, I could at least know where to go, but here, only the bodies indicated the passage of people or abyssals.
Not being tracked was an ability that was required of anyone that wanted to dive into the third floor.
I heard a faint noise coming from my right. I laid close to the ground, almost crawling on it, and began to approach the place.
What I saw shocked me. There was a group of abyssals surrounding a group of divers. The group was obviously on the weaker spectrum of the teams that dived into the third floor.
Most of them couldn't use their concepts properly and were sluggish in their action, however, their teamwork more than made up for it.
They were like a well-oiled machine, covering for each other weakness and dancing around the battlefield in their positions.
The team was composed of one archer and two warriors. One warrior used a big shield and a hammer, while the other one used a longsword.
The archer stood in place, without taking a step from his position, which demonstrated that he was not a good archer, or that he trusted his companions a lot. The one that was using the shield was covering the archer, and sometimes helping the other warrior.
The hammer in his hand didn't look like a weapon, but a tool to defend his teammates. Every time an attack was headed toward one of his teammates, he would either use the shield to defend or use the hammer to deflect the blow, using the hammer as a second defense.
The longsword user was the most powerful of the team, she had red hair and there was a faint scar that covered her face vertically over the nose. She danced around the battlefield, cutting and dealing with the abyssals with expertise, avoiding blows when she could, or letting the shield warrior defend her when necessary.
Now I realize. They looked sluggish or weak in the beginning because those weakness existed individually, but as a team, there was no hole left open.
My eyes shined in anticipation, I wanted a team like that for me as well!!
