After helping Sophie I suddenly got a notification. [ system ] the dungeon “Thief's lair” is now open! A dungeon already? That's strange, on the forums it was said that it would take a few days before dungeons would open. I should probably look for a party, because you do need at least 3 people to enter. Let’s head to the central plaza to look for some party members then
After reaching the plaza I began to search for party members. But it was difficult. no one wanted a blacksmith in their party. Luckily after 30 minutes I found 2 brothers. called James and Ethan. After getting acquainted with them we quickly went to the dungeon which was just outside the town.
And a little bit later we are at the dungeon entrance. It was a small entrance to a cave. Everyone ready? After we go in we won't go out before defeating the boss. So if you need to prepare anything, do it now. They all responded with: no, we don’t have to prepare anything. Okay then. Then we can get into the dungeon, [ system ] entering “thieves lair”.
After entering the dungeon we found long cave-like tunnels shrouded in darkness. We walked around trying to find any thieves or doors that lead to the boss. And after a while we encountered our first thief, he was relatively fast and had 2 daggers on him ready to slice our necks. But after fighting it for a few minutes, it got overwhelmed with all the different strikes from us, and died.

We went ahead and explored some more of the dungeon, we killed some more thieves and some of us even leveled up a bit. And eventually we found a door that we thought would lead to the boss, but we weren't sure and we had to recover some strength, so we held a quick break. After the break was over we went ahead and opened the door, inside finding a thief that didn’t look much different from the rest. Its armor was just a little bit different. The real difference was the feeling of danger I get when looking at that thief. After it saw us, James quickly put up his shield to block the thief’s attack while we prepared our own.
When James blocked the strike his shield shattered and he got knocked back quite far. But he managed to do his job of stalling for a bit of time, because Ethan and I launched our attacks. Ethan launched his icicle spell, while I used my hammer with all my power to try and hit the thief. The attacks were pretty successful seeing that the thief lost an arm and his armor got damaged by my hammer.
We thought it was going well, but then the boss seemed to have entered phase 2 and suddenly launched a firebolt towards James, who is still laying on the ground recovering himself. Ethan managed to quickly launch a weak icicle and destroy the firebolt before reaching James. And while the boss was distracted with James and Ethan I managed to land a hood hit on his head. Stunning him for a few seconds. Which Ethan took advantage of to use all his mana in an all out attack killing the thief.
[ system ] thief’s boss has been killed. all party members +1 level. When the boss was defeated we sighed of relief even though the boss wasn't very difficult it still was dangerous. We prepared ourselves to get teleported out of the dungeon which was what normally happened but instead the statue that we didn't notice before began moving. Revealing a set of stairs leading downwards. James, Ethan do you guys have any idea if this is normal? This normally doesn't happen. But we should check it out. Maybe there are some nice rewards?
