Four

In Han Zheng Continent, dragons are at the very top of the food chain. They possess insanely tough bodies and their cultivation speed can put many human geniuses to shame, and when matured, they are virtually invincible. This had made them the subject of reverence for many others.

Right now, there are four gigantic statues of dragons crouching on top of an enormous altar. Green, Blue, Red , Yellow; the dragon statues are made of jades of those colors. When the sun shined on them, one could see a scintillating reflection of the four colors. They are like sovereigns, each and every one of them are puffing up their chest, their arrogant eyes looking down on the world.

The altar is located at the centre of what seemed to be a bustling city. There are many buildings each with their own uniqueness. They stretched out from the centre to an infinitely long distance away from the altar. Throughout the whole area, many people could be seen moving about; some went to shop for pills, and some went to get treatment; people are just minding their own businesses.

Right now, outside of the city, two young men could be seen. One wore white fluffy clothing plus a wolf's head hat, and the other wore a robe of yellowish-green color. Their hands were intertwined, and their shoulders' touching.

They were of course, Ran and Wei.

Ran was looking silently at Wei, his mind wondering if he should rest his head on Wei's shoulder. But right as he made his decision, Wei stopped his tracks.

Right infront of them is a gargantuan cultivator city. Even the city gate itself spanned across miles, how big would the buildings inside be?

Wei looked up at the ridiculously tall gate, and there he saw the city's plaque.

'Heavenly Dragon City'

Ran, after looking at the structures behind the gate, looked up as well. His heart couldn't help but to build up a bit of anticipation, at least this world isn't one of those boring worlds.

Right below the gates were people streaming in and out, their numbers were innumerable. Many different people were present there, each with their own history. However, the guards stationed there weren't many, but each and every one of them exuded an intense aura, their eyes looked wary at all times, and they seemed like they will take action immediately once they spot even the slightest peculiarity.

People were forming many lines to get in the city, Wei and Ran chose one of them.

Wei's eyes glowed slightly as he looked around, and after awhile, he smiled wryly, 'why there are so many suspicious beings around here...'

When he looked to the left, he saw a child sucking on a lollipop, but behind the skin was a short old man grinning heinously.

When he looked to the right, he saw a 'pregnant' serpent-woman, the thing inside her belly, hmmm, suspicious...

As he looked infront of him, he saw a woman holding onto the chains that connects to the tiger beside her, and when she pulled the chains, the tiger's eyes showed a hint of...delight? As if spotting Wei's gaze, the tiger turned menacingly and casted a 'you saw nothing' look to him. Wei who is always smiling, smiled even brighter...

Ran saw that scene, and felt pissed. He bent over and took a rock by the roadside, and he flicked it right at the tiger's head.

*BAANG!* The rock moved at such an insane speed that it vaporized the tiger's head, expanded the woman's hole to 20cm in diameter, and chopped off countless people's legs infront of them. When the rock finally disintegrate into nothingness, a straight line of empty air was formed.

The explosion was so loud that most people nearby blacked out for a second and once they recovered, blood was dripping all over the place from their ears. Everybody freaked out almost instantly, but it was an even worse case for those infront of Wei and Ran; they blacked out for a second and woke up to find one of their legs had disappeared.

"What the hell just happened!?" An old man sitting cross legged below the four dragon statues suddenly exclaimed. "Is it a meteor strike?... Impossible, my spiritual sense would have detected it. No, I must go and see it for myself!" He mumbled and his figure vanished right after.

The people who were lining up were freaking out. Some were angry, some were scared, and some were taking advantage of the messed up line to move quickly into the city.

"What the fuck?! Who dared to attack this sovereign?" A brawny man yelled as blood was flowing out of his ears.

"Mom...dad....mom....dad..." A little boy who was weeping looked at his little boy who was weeping.

Looking at the chaos, Wei smiled, "Ran, you're really crueler than me."

Ran looked at his fingers that has smoke glowing off them, and he blew them out.

"Hmph. It was asking for death." Ran snorted as reply.

'How dare it threaten my love...'
