Bridal Ritual (Part 2)

THIS SHADOW DEVIL WON’T LEAVE ME ALONE, NOW I KNEW WHY.

----------------------------------------

Part 2

Eight years passed, and a lot more unbelievable things happened during that time frame. I didn’t see her again, and I have completely forgotten about her as well. That was until she showed up this time in a solid body. Covered in what seemed to be huge black feathers, while her dark matter of shadow crept out from between the feathers.

To this day, I have never again placed my bed in the same spot where it was when I woke up from that nightmare. Yet she shows up again, this time I had proper control of my dreams. I was ready to catch her off guard. As I lay there in my bed, staring at nothing else but her. I did my utmost to remember every detail. Her face remained covered, I couldn’t see anything, but I knew it was her.

We stared at each other for minutes on my bed, I wanted her to show me who she was. What she wanted from me. Why she marked me with a bruising kiss on my stomach and sides of my body, that wouldn’t go away. I was no longer afraid of her, I wanted answers.

To her surprise, I sat up from my bed and stared at her, as she remained paralyzed on my bed. How the tables have turned, or so I thought. How I believed I won this round was nothing but a fairy tale. She and I weren’t alone. Something that was entirely dressed in white with a face that I was unable to distinguish was outside my window, the same window where I heard footsteps years ago.

After I was distracted, a lady dressed in white blinded me with her ghastly heavenly light. When I looked back down, I noticed that… She and the shadow that I had been fearing before were gone, leaving me alone in my room as I stared out my window at the now dark void, which only seconds before had been filled with light.

Frustrated by her disappearance, I loudly cursed at her from under my breath, I eventually woke myself up. I was mentally prepared, only to be disappointed when she was diapered from under my nose. I didn’t see her face. I at least knew I was getting stronger, not physically, but this way was much more entertaining for me.

That was until today before I woke up. The entire time, my chihuahua was barking at me was because the glowing lady from my window might or might not have been my protector. It is possible that she was making sure that the dark shadow lady didn't show up again.

Since before COVID-19 started, I have never once felt any pain from the bruises I have. I felt no pain coming from them, I would press and massage them, hoping they might go away. I have been feeling fatigued for the past few days. I have been aching in those spots only. Because of the large purple-brown, coin-sized bruise, I am unable to sleep on my right side.

Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

I even had trouble sleeping. For some reason, once it's 3 AM, I am able to fall asleep. Only 3 AM. I've tried several kinds of medication in an attempt to sleep earlier, but none have been effective. I would take naps during the day, since I was exhausted and found it difficult to sleep at night. Drinking coffee didn’t seem to work either.

It’s possible that I and another unnamed girl were marked by what I’m calling, “The devil's kiss.” I'm not sure what else to call my unexplained bruise marks that turned into a lipstick kiss mark. Before I woke up to write this (8-14-22), I was trapped in a world I have never seen before, by all the monsters that have ever chased me in my past dreams, just staring me down.

I suppose I was in a life-or-death race with this other human girl because we were both chained and wearing the same dark bridal-looking outfit. When I woke up in that dream, she seemed to be crying and begging me to let her live, right next to me.

Because, immediately afterward, she was taken away by the order of the same dark shadow that escaped from my last dream. Right behind her was the lady from my window, she wasn’t radiating in her light, no more, she was barely visible from the lighting of the room.

Regardless of what I did, the dark shadow devil was able to predict it soon before I acted. After literal years of running from these monsters, I was finally caught, before I even had a chance to dream.

As she descended from the second floor, the dark mass and black feathers fell out of her black veil. Her face was still unrecognizable. I had no choice but to obey. I realized that I had lost the round again.

I was surprised. In the years I can recall from my other dreams, I have never heard her speak. I would have expected her to sound like a garbage truck, but instead, it sounded smooth and pleasant. I was induced by the quality of her voice.

She looked at one of the creatures and demanded that they bring the last item needed for tonight's ritual. It was a huge steel cup with odd designs and patterns, none that I have ever seen before. Inside was a dirty, clear liquid containing lats of the beast's hair and small bits of dirt floating in it.

She demanded this of the beast, which had willingly chained itself outside in the cold snow. “Were they able to extract the liquid from the beast, or was it simply the beast's sweat?” I thought to myself. Having no other choice, I was forced to drink from the cup she poured drops of her blood into.

Handing over the cup to another soul, wearing a tux, he did the same and drank from the cup, soon after, he threw the liquid onto himself and me. Everyone applauded and cheered for both of us.

As he unchained me, he escorted me to a table filled with pink toe-flavored frosting with vanilla cake bread on the inside. “I think she just married me to her son, or she stalked me in my dreams, to see if I was compatible with this person. She just blessed this marriage.” I was unsure of what to think of all of this, as he happily hugged me and fed me a piece of cake from his plate.

I wanted to escape, but the clear liquid I drank made me delirious, I couldn’t think or walk straight. The groom never left my side. The beast, monster, and the dark shadow danced for hours in the night.

If someone had experienced the same thing I went through and had bruises that were years old and shaped like a kiss mark, then they might have died. She could have been the girl I was competing against.

I'm not certain if I'm happy that I won because I'm not certain if they ended up killing her while she was sleeping.

Sincerely,

THE ENGAGED STRAWBERRY?
