Max pressed his head into his sisters' shoulders and simply broke down. He let everything out and simply silently cried into it. He didn't know how long he simply stood there with his face pressed down against her like that... Simply crying and letting everything that needed out get out.
His sister gently stroked his head even though there was a 10cm difference between the two, with Max being 170CM while she was 160. Yet none of it mattered; the only thing that mattered was that she was here for him. She didn't say anything. She simply stood there and took everything Max had to give her, Everything Max had to let out, and while he did so, she softly stroked her hair.
She was a bit emotional as well, although not as extreme as either of the others. Although she once cared for her father, these days, she also blamed him for what he had done and the choices he made. His father wasn't always there for her during her youth because he was busy with his shop which was why her mother and Max mainly took care of her.
She was mostly sad right now because Max was, and that rubbed off on her, Seeing him like that. His pain and sadness simply hurt her heart. Max has always been the big inspirational figure in her life, She loved him. He was always there when her father was not and although her mother was always there for her, Max was the positive male influence in her life. Although as a brother closer to her age, not as a father, Which made their relationship closer and more interactive.
At some point, she simply realized that he had grown to be more than just a brother in her eye, but in the end, they were siblings. So she was content with having such an amazing big brother who, although sometimes mean, was always there for her when she truly needed him. Just like she was there for him if he needed her, which almost never happened, Yet here they were.
It's just that, When she turned 18, her Mother shared the truth with her, A truth she also shared with Max when he turned 18. A truth Max never shared with her, Not because he felt insecure or didn't want to but simply because it didn't matter to him. The truth was that Max wasn't blood-related to his sister, Or mother for that matter. Max was originally adopted by their grandpa after his wife (Their grandma) died. He grew lonely and sad, and he tried to fill that void with his daughter (their mother). Although nothing got officially confirmed they we're pretty sure that their grandpa wasn't fully mentally healthy anymore after his loss. Because when his child, who always kept crying she wanted a baby turned Thirteen, he actually got her that for her birthday. He had adopted Max, who by then was a recently abandoned newborn, and he has been with his mom ever since. At first, his grandpa had to obviously do most of the caretaking, but she tried her best, and slowly but surely, over the years, his daughter started to take over more and more of the caretaking. She eventually fell in love with their father (Max's unofficial father) and had an accidental pregnancy at 16. Since she already had a child, she strongly insisted on keeping it, and their father eventually gave in, which resulted in the birth of Max's sister. Max never shared this fact with his sister because he had always considered her to be his sister, and this changed nothing for him.....
But when she learned this, It changed everything for her after all. Her beloved big brother, her inspirational figure, the very being she has grown to love more than just a brother, wasn't blood-related... That last barrier, That last taboo, was gone, and she suddenly didn't feel too contempt with having him as " just a brother " anymore when he could be so much more.
Ever since then, she has actively tried to win him over, to make him see her as more than just his sister, and although she knows he loves her, it just isn't the same type of love she has for him. She has tried all kinds of things; when her brother didn't bite into her own submissive and meek self, she came forward and put up a more seductive and bold front and tried that approach even though she wasn't that. It just didn't work, Nerdy didn't work. Even just trying to get into his bed naked didn't work. In the end, he saw her as nothing more than his sister, which pained her, and although she had grown to live with it over the years, she couldn't help herself. She had to occasionally try something even if she knew it didn't work.
Over time, with her many attempts, she grew more confident with her seductive and straightforward approach, which her brother considers " silly " even though deep down she's still the shy girl who yearns for her brother's protection, care and love she was now capable of putting up a big front and stepping forward.
Eventually, after he cried it all out, After saying nothing for this entire time, her feminine voice finally reached his ears as he asked while she continued to softly stroke her head.
" Are you feeling better now? "
