The group of five arrived at the carpenter’s shop a couple hours until noon. Lead by Blaike they entered the building to talk to the manager but they didn’t see him so the group waited taking time to learn about each other.
“So your names are Kat and Jahleel, Right?”
“Yes Master.” Said the cat-eared girl looking down at the slightly degraded wood floor.
“Please don’t call me that just call me by my name Blaike. Also let me introduce these two, the little black haired girl is Alan and the white haired boy is Satoru.”
“Nice to meet you two.” Kat and Jahleel said in unison as they looked towards the humanoid Beasts.
Satoru had not gained the ability to understand [Enlin] language yet, but Alan had since she had been around this Country’s civilians much more and tried to learn their language allowing her to respond for them both. “Sorry my friend Satoru can’t speak this language yet, but thanks on both of our behalf.”
“Anyway since you four have been introduced to each other please let's talk about our pasts can you two go first?” Blaike said as he was looking towards Kat and Jahleel.
“Yes Mast.. I mean Blaike” Kat had said.
“For years I had been I slave, in fact I’ve been one for as long as I remember. The Slave keeper had said that I had been sold to make up debts and that my family would never come back. I was deemed as useless by most of my other owners making me be put up for sale at least 15 times.”
After Kat had finished Jahleel picked up his story saying “My past is similar to Kat’s only I knew my family when I was young.” The single sentence from him was in a quiet tone compared to Kat’s emotional telling of her past.
“Well for these two, um they’re monsters, beasts whatever they’re called here. In the short Satoru is a Slime, while Alan is a Sprite. I on the other hand contracted with them two maybe three months ago and all I really want to say about my past is right before contracting with these two I got brought to this world against my will.” Finishing his story of Alan, Satoru, and himself with a upset look.
After the conversation had passed and the owner had still not appeared Blaike started to pull out things from his world that got dragged along with him like his hoodie or cell-phone most of which didn’t survive the travel, but the items that he wore or were in his pockets saving his phone and a few pencils the rest of his things that came were either fragments or crisps of their past selves.

It was only at this time did he truly look back on the items brought with him and feel like it was time to dispose of the items that were broken helping train his [casting] skill by erasing them with the “delete” spell.
As he was finishing “delete”ing his stuff the owner walked in with the pungent odor of alcohol covering him making the group back away slightly only for Blaike to step forward saying “Sir I have come back to get the job so please take us in.”
“Get out of my shop this instant. Don’t disturb my work you, you youngins.”
“Sorry sir, but we made a deal a week before this so take my money a train me.” after saying these words Blaike laid two of his large silver coins down on a counter near him.
Seeing money appear before him the owner seemed to sober up for what seemed a second only go back to the way he was before ever seeing it.
“Fine, you can stay for the time paid just give me the money an we’ll start.”
Hear that Blaike brought the two coins to the Muscular owner, only retreating from the strong smell after the coins were in the shop keeper’s hand.
The owner took a look at the money to authenticate it and seeing that it was two large silver and not small or gilded in silver he brought the group to the back where it looked the workshop was and told them they can work on anything for today and sleep in the back corner.
After telling the group what to do the owner left the shop once again. In the workshop there were many different types of woods and many different sized logs. In the back where all of them were supposed to sleep there was barely enough space for two people to lay down.
In the workshop the only ones practicing were Blaike and Satoru. The two of them were not doing carpentry, but instead woodworking with small figurines and Alan, Kat, or Jahleel as models as they were looking around and playing.
Blaike and Satoru were both looking at and helping refine each other’s figurines after they each made one. They both didn’t make good quality works, but they did get better of the few hours they worked. At the end of the day both of them had some rough spots on their hands and the night had come letting Blaike try a new spell called “Light” and practice his “heal” spell.
Only on the next day did the training of their skills in carpentry actually start.
“Alright fools this shop is carpentry shop that is also a woodworking shop that remodels the poor houses in the slums and helps decorate them if paid extra so lets work.”
As the week went by the slums improved and the team worked on decorations and bringing materials for the shop owner to actually remodel or rebuild the houses only by the end of the week itself did the owner say that the five could help with the construction portion of the job.
“Having worked with and observed the use of the [Carpentry] skill you have gained access to it.”
“Do to repeated working with woods you have gained the [Woodworking] skill.”
"Do to learning five different skills in a month you have gained the ‘Quick Learner’ Title.”
“You can Improve your [Upgrade] skill by mixing the [Woodworking] and [Carpentry] skills into it would you like to do so?”
Yes or No
“Finally, I’ve worked a week for this. Yes I accept.”
