"WHY THE FUCK IS THE BUTTON GONE?"
I scroll through the menu over and over again, still in disbelief that the goddamn logout button had actually disappeared on me.
...Oh God, the button really is gone.
"S-something the matter, Hero-sama?" the princess asks timidly.
"YES, SOMETHING IS THE MATTER! THE FUCKING LOG OUT BUTTON IS GONE! NOW HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO GET OUT FROM THIS FUCKING GAME?" I shout in response, scaring the princess even further.
Then I remember. You're supposed to contact the GM at times like these.
"Oh, those motherfuckers are probably laughing at me right now. Real funny, guys. Real funny," I say to no one in particular, thinking this is all just one big joke from the big guy upstairs.
I press the red telephone button with the label "Customer Service" on it.
I wait for about a minute for the other side to lift the phone (not literally of course, seeing this is a VR game after all), creating an awkward silence in the room.
Then, the other side greets me.
"Oh, hello," it says with an amused male voice.
"Oh hello my ass, you better fix my logout button at once or else I'm going to report you to your superiors. I'm pretty sure this kind of shitty prank is bad costumer service at best and illegal 'you can get to jail by doing it' at worst."
"Oh, oh my, you still haven't realized it yet, have you?"
"Realized what?"
"Well, you see, you're not in a game anymore."
"What the fuck are you talking about?"
"I am talking about the fact that you're in the real deal now. 100% pure fantasy world."
"...Okay, this joke has gone far enough. What do you think this is? A shitty light novel?"
"Oh, I assure you. This is quite real. Look at your hands closely. You should see that it no longer consists of pixels. It's as smooth-looking as your hands in the real world."
I do what he says with pure skepticism. But to my horror, what he said is true. I can't notice a single pixel on my hands.
"...N-nice one. Y-you almost got me there. You're just bragging about your new graphical engine update, aren't you?"
"Oh no, not at all. Anyway, as pleasant as this little chat of ours has been, I'm afraid I have to go now. A god has a lot of duties he needs to fulfill after all."
Then, he hangs up.
"YOU MOTHERFUCKER, COME BACK HERE YOU-"
After trying to call him back several times, only to be answered by a generic "leave a message" response, swearing some more expletives in the process, the terror creeps on me.
Oh God, I really am stuck here, ain't I?
C-calm yourself. T-think about it. Someone ought to notice and lift the VR helmet my body in the real world is wearing.
Oh wait, I live in an apartment. Alone. And I'm not exactly friends with my neighbors.
Oh fuck, I could die of thirst first before someone notices I'm stuck in this game. I can imagine the headline, "A young teenager found dead on his apartment due to overuse of VR games."
Then, I realize that it might be better that I really had been transported to a fantasy world that coincidentally is similar to the game's setting.
Oh fine, I'll play along for now. It's not like I have any other choice after all.
"U-um, Hero-sama, if... if you please, we already prepared a feast for you. O-of course, you don't have to participate if you don't want to, if you're too tired or..."
"Nonsense, milady. What kind of hero not participating in his own welcoming party? And besides, I'd like to know more about you, my dear princess."
I kiss her hand once more. I notice the princess' expression of both embarrassment and wariness, no doubt because she's afraid I will grope her again.
Man, I could tease her all day if she keeps giving that unbearably cute expression.

In the way to the dining room, I notice a picture hanging on the wall. There's the king, and what I assume is the queen beside him (man, she's a beauty. I can't imagine why she would want to marry with the fat king. Must be arranged marriage). And there's the princess, though it's her younger self, being as cute as ever.
Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author.
But then, there's another girl standing beside the princess. In many ways, she's the opposite of her. Her face isn't terribly cute, it has freckles that spreads like a line from her nose. Her hair is some dull reddish rustic brown instead of the bright golden hair the princess has. And her chest is absolutely flat, unlike the princess who already develops a cleavage even at that younger age.
"Who's that girl?" I ask the princess.
"Oh, she's... she's my sister. Older sister to be exact."
Older sister? I don't remember this character existing in the game before.
"She... went missing a few years back when we had a family outing. Father already spent his full strength searching for her and yet we couldn't find her, not even a trace of her. And then, the invasion of the Demon Lord happened and we had to abandon our search," she says in a grim tone.
This is the first time I see the princess with a melancholic face like this.
"Where did she go missing exactly?" I ask out of curiosity.
"In the Forest of Dancing Trees."
As if a lightning just struck me, my brain cells turn active immediately.
That forest? That's where I just went! The Phantasmal Ruin called the Maze of Air is hidden there!
This is just perfect!
"Do not worry, milady. I promise in the noble name of a hero that I shall bring your sister back to you."
"B-but..."
"No buts. Nothing is impossible for a true hero after all."
Hearing my gallant response, the princess breaks into a smile before hugging me full force with all her might,
"Oh, thank you, thank you so much!" she says with tears of joy.
And all I can think of is her voluptuous breasts pressing on my chest.
Then, she realizes that she just did quite an improper thing, before quickly taking herself off my body.
"O-oh, I-I'm sorry, I-I didn't mean to..." she says with a blush.
"Oh, I don't mind at all. It's an honor to be hugged by a beautiful lady like you after all."
She can only blush deeper in response.

Later that night, after all the festivities are over, I am given a really nice room to sleep in. It's probably the most luxurious room second (well, third) after the king and the princess' bedrooms.
Speaking of the princess, I was tempted to ask that I am to sleep with the princess, but I figured I already teased her enough already. And besides, I need to gather my mind and think on what I should do next.
Let's see, first, I still have two days left until my body in the real world dies of thirst. Whether or not I am now really in a fantasy world will be decided then.
Second, the whole war with the Demon Lord. In the game, the Demon Lord army consists of human players (after all, we can't really compete with a bunch of NPCs, can we?). But how about now? I assume they're all intelligent AI (or actual sapient beings if this is a fantasy world). But the real strength of their army lies from their player characters, and I don't know if they get stuck here to. Who knows? Maybe I can find another player like myself out there.
Third, I already promised that my first goal is to find the elder princess. I'm pretty sure the search party even managed to enter the Maze of Air, let alone search in its depths, so I should search there first and foremost.
And man, I'm still pissed I got booted from that maze. At least let me finish it before doing this shenanigan.
Oh well, time to sleep. Gotta gather my strength for tomorrow's journey after all.
