"Roots" was an action fantasy novel written for a publication contest online. It was about the journey of a prince who had led the life of a peasant since birth, before becoming the Emperor of Gladios. The same Empire that had ransacked and engulfed his little western nation, and deprived him of his roots. It was the story of revenge, blood and war, revolving around the core elements of magic, where the main protagonist rose from a mere nobody to the strongest mage the world had ever known.

Thus when Reina Aurwood, someone who had never read the actual novel despite being given a copy, actually transmigrated into it, she had no doubt... that was what the underworld looked like.
