My name is Christian Grant. I am a priest living in the cruel, modern world. We priests beg for money in the name of God every week to sustain our daily needs.

Essentially, we priests are just beggars using the name of God to glorify our begging.

When I was a child, I thought that priests were holy and selfless. So, I wanted to become a priest. My goal in life was to become a priest.

I had participated in many activities that glorify God, like choirs and etcetera.

Finally, I had become a priest. And after I had become a priest, I had found out that I f*cked up.

Priests could not earn lots of money!

Now, why am I saying this? Don't priests get lots of money from offerings?

Yes, they do get lots of money from offerings. But, my church was an exception. It was a small one, and was also located in a remote rural area, where almost all of our neighbors here worshipped statues.

The minority which didn't worship statues were extremely poor, as this place was an underdeveloped village.

You might be thinking, 'Why don't you just move to another place?'

I wanted to, but I couldn't. This village was surrounded by high mountains, and it had nothing that was particularly beautiful. The resources were also scarce, and so, money was basically useless here. I went to the forest next to the village everyday to hunt animals (never, actually) or grab some fruits to eat.

Now, you MUST be thinking, 'What's the use of money then?'

As remote and underdeveloped this village was, there was actually a signal here! So, I used the money to buy internet, opened my phone, and read some novels. Why are all the protagonists so lucky in life?! Im so jealous! (ᗒᗩᗕ)

Today, I finally caught a rabbit. Yes!! Finally! Meat!!!

I took the rabbit, disassembled the non-eatable parts and grilled it on the campfire.

Ai... life is just too hard! Why did God put me in this place?! Does God even exist? As I was thinking about my pitiful life while eating my lovely grilled rabbit, I choked on it, and died.
