The restaurant exuded a classic charm that transported its patrons back to a bygone era. The low lighting and the soft, soothing tune in the background created an ambiance of relaxation and intimacy. Although the place was less crowded, the few diners scattered around the room seemed to be lost in their own world.
Sitting across from each other were a man and a woman. The woman's stunning red hair caught the light as she talked animatedly, her eyes darting around the restaurant as if searching for something. The man, on the other hand, sat quietly, observing her every move with intense interest.
The woman let out a deep sigh, shaking her head as she reached for her glass of water. "And they told me to go to Vetropolis City," she lamented, her voice tinged with frustration. Her eyes fell on the man, and she paused for a moment before continuing. "Why am I even telling you this? You probably don't understand what I'm talking about."
The man said nothing, but the way he gazed at her made it clear that he was hanging on her every word. Suddenly, the woman's attention was drawn to a waiter passing by their table. She called out, her voice ringing out in the hushed atmosphere of the restaurant. "Waiter!"
As the waiter arrived at the table, the woman's eyes flickered over the menu before she gave a charming smile and spoke in a clear voice, "I'll have the grilled chicken breast with rosemary potatoes, please. And a Caesar salad with extra dressing on the side."
The waiter nodded politely and wrote down her order before turning to the man. "And for you, sir?"
The man's eyes remained fixed on the woman as he spoke, "I'll have the New York strip steak, medium-rare, with a side of grilled asparagus, and a glass of red wine."
The waiter noted down the order and gave a slight bow before walking away, leaving the couple to their conversation.
But the woman's eyes suddenly widened with shock as she stared at the man sitting opposite her, her mouth slightly agape. The man's intense gaze held hers, and for a moment, she was at a loss for words.
"Y...You," she stuttered, her voice barely above a whisper, "You understand what I'm saying?"
The man's lips curved into a small smile as he leaned forward, his piercing blue eyes locking onto hers. "Yes, I do," he replied softly.
"By the way, I am Jack"

The grassy plains extended as far as the eye could see, stretching out to meet the base of a towering cliff. In the darkness of the night, the grass appeared as a dark blanket, gently swaying in the wind. The distant sound of crickets and frogs could be heard, adding to the serenity of the scene.

On the other side of the cliff, the sea roared and crashed against the rocks, sending up sprays of water that glistened in the moonlight. The waves seemed to dance in the light of the stars, their rhythm constant and soothing.
The sky was a deep shade of blue-black, speckled with stars that twinkled and shone with an otherworldly brilliance. The moon hung low on the horizon, casting a soft, silvery glow over the plains and the sea.
As the night wore on, the wind picked up, causing the grass to rustle and sway more vigorously. The sound of the waves grew louder, their relentless crashing against the rocks creating a symphony of sound that echoed across the landscape.
Jack sat on the edge of the cliff, his feet dangling over the edge, swaying slightly in the breeze. His light blue shirt, with its sleeves rolled up to reveal his strong, muscular arms, rustled in the wind. The top two buttons of his shirt were undone, giving a glimpse of his tanned chest. His dark hair was ruffled by the wind, giving him a rugged, carefree look.
As he looked up at the stars with a nostalgic gaze, Katherine sat beside him, her eyes fixed on him. She couldn't help but feel drawn to his magnetic personality and the easy way he carried himself. She had never felt so comfortable and at peace with anyone else before.
Katherine's gaze traveled over Jack's face, taking in every detail. She noted the curve of his jawline, the intensity of his blue eyes, and the way his lips curved into a half-smile. She found herself lost in the moment, enjoying the peace and quiet of the night and the company of this enigmatic man.
As they sat there, the sounds of the sea and the wind merged into a soothing melody that seemed to encapsulate the moment.
Katherine shook her head, a small smile on her lips, as she shifted her gaze to the moon hanging in the sky. "To think that I would meet a man from a different world. I must be lucky," she chuckled.
Jack remained silent, his gaze still lingering on the sky. But suddenly, his brow furrowed. Before he could say anything, a series of beeps interrupted the peaceful night.
Jack turned to look at Katherine and was surprised to see her standing up, her face serious as she looked at the watch in her hand. Her gaze then shifted to the sea, and he noticed a flicker of horror in her eyes.
"Katherine, what's wrong?" Jack asked, his voice filled with concern.
Katherine turned to look at him, her eyes wide with fear. "Jack," she said, her voice trembling.
Before she could continue, a terrific roar spread throughout the air. It was so loud that it shook the ground beneath their feet, sending tremors rippling through the sand. As the sound died down, both of their eyes locked onto the sea, trying to locate the source of the disturbance.
Suddenly, a giant, grotesque monster began emerging from the sea, its massive body rising up out of the waves. It was a creature of pure nightmare and horror.
Its skin was rough and scaly, like the hide of some ancient reptile, and it was covered in spines and ridges that jutted out in all directions. Its eyes were glowing orbs of red, burning with an unnatural fire, and its massive jaws were lined with razor-sharp teeth that gleamed in the sunlight.
As the monster continued to rise up out of the water, it revealed its full, towering height. It was easily fifty feet tall, with arms that hung down to its knees and a massive tail that lashed out behind it like a whip.
