Transmigrated F-Rank Hunter
Chapter 1 Regressio

Chapter 1 Regressio

What is this place? Where am I? A light pierced through the black and endless void, and before I knew it, I found myself sitting on a chair, staring blankly at my teacher who was jotting down notes on the whiteboard. The ruined city that was filled with pungent stench and smoke is no longer to be seen.

“Alright, that’s all for today. Hope you learn something useful.” Finished speaking, he left the classroom nonchalantly, just like any other day for him.

The moment he was gone, I began to inspect my surroundings.

I looked around me, and found out that I was in my old dusty classroom when I was in high school, the classroom that I was in for almost 5 years. The old and shabby lockers that were located at the back were there, a pile of useless books on the table by the side of the classroom proves it all was just like how my classroom was back then.

I looked outside of the window, as I just realised that it had been raining for quite a long time now. The sound of the rain hitting the aluminium roof making a ‘tak tak’ sound, and a breeze of wind invaded the classroom and blew the curtains as it did that, bringing in some of that rain water too.

I stood up from my seat, and I gently closed the door, many thoughts appeared and crossed over my heads.

Did I return to the past? Is this all a dream?

As I closed the dim and dark window from the outside world, a black haired boy, with nerdy rectangular black glasses appeared right before me. He stared right at me, just like how I stared right at him.

As I looked at my surroundings once more, I realised that I, Kruger, indeed, transmigrated back into the past, before the monster apocalypse happened.

A sense of hopelessness engulfs me. I opened the window once more, letting the rain and the wind blow over me. As I did that, I left out a heavy sigh.

My life is already suck as it is, in the future, past, or even the present.

In the future, I became the weakest and useless F-rank hunter in existence. No matter how hard I tried to bridge the gap between me and the other hunters whether it be with experience, equipment or knowledge, I still couldn’t make do with my F-rank ability, which is one of the weakest abilities in the tier list.

Everyone shunned me. Nobody wants to have anything to do with me. I was left alone.

For my whole life, I was just trying to survive. And every time I try to do that, life keeps on hitting me harder. Just like now, being thrown to the past once more, just to face all the humiliation once more.

This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road. If you discover it on Amazon, kindly report it.

Fuck. I kicked the wall right below me, just for my leg to be in aching pain.

This weak body…

The rain pours harder, it's as if it's trying to agree with me. I then closed all the windows, switched off all the lights and fans and began to walk out of the classroom.

As I was on my way home, a thought crossed over my head.

What if. What if I just die right now, won’t all of this be over?

Yeah, you’re right…

I immediately rushed towards the stairway towards the rooftop, just like usual, the rooftop rusty door was there, and it's easy to open once you know how the handle works.

I pushed the handle bar all the way down and opened the door towards the rooftop. The moment I opened the door, the raging storm welcomed me with open arms, as it fell all over me, making me feel almost overwhelmed, like I’m almost going to fly.

I slightly grinned as this is what I wanted. Raging wind and stormy rain it's as if telling me how suck I am. And this is the perfect way for me to go. Disappear in the background, disappear amidst a storm, a heroic way of death that I wanted.

I slammed the door hard enough so that it wouldn't open easily. For precaution, I soldered the gap of the door with my , so that none could come up here and stop me. Well, it’s not like anyone would notice me in the first place, moreover come up here in this crazy weather, only a crazy person would do that.

It’s time.

Small, insignificant traces of pale blue lightning came out of my skin, dancing between my fingers as I called it out.

It looks useless at first. But as time goes by, the current charges become stronger as time passes.

The side of my mouth unconsciously curved upwards, as I looked at my right hand that was brimming with so much electricity.

Soon, I directed the rest of the current towards all the other parts of my body, charging my whole body.

The source of the , my heart, continues to pump electricity non stop towards my whole body, charging my whole body.

Roars of lightning could soon be heard, roaring in the skies, as if it can’t wait to ascend towards the earth, it began to strike everywhere across the skies and the ground.

This is it. My current is starting to attract all of the lightning in the skies. I could feel it, raging wildly, finding somewhere to go.

The ground shook as multiple lighting shot the ground multiple times, and some buildings also got hit by chance.

Just like how I wanted. It’s attracted by my current.

The lightning strikes became more frequent as time passed by, and me?

I opened both of my arms widely, waiting graciously for my end to come.

But as soon as I was about to close my eyes, I saw a figure right in front of me, looking at me with puppy-like eyes, staring right at me.

??

What the… is that… a person?

“Get out of there!”

I screamed as loud as I could, but that person doesn’t seem to listen.
