C16. He Is a Sire

Han Mingxu was surprised how calm he could be.

“Why so?”

“You told me that I slept with Nancheng Lie, didn’t you? My classmates also told me that I committed suicide because of Nancheng Lie. If you are all telling the truth, it means…” Li Qinghao raised his head and looked right into Han Mingxu’s eyes and said with empahsis, “Nancheng Lie and I were in a relationship, weren’t we? If so, we should be the best in each other’s eyes.”

“You…” It was a perfect conclusion but Han Mingxu was especially unhappy to hear it, “you are talking bullshit!”

It was the first time such a gentleman talked billingsgate, but it made him more masculine.

“I want to know what you are thinking now. Do you still think Nancheng Lie is the best right now?” He didn’t understand why he was so obsessed with the answer, maybe because everything was already far out of his control.

Pfff…

Li Qinghao giggled and pushed the man in front of him away, “It’s not important now.” He stepped back calmly but not to ran away. “Do you…” He allured Han Mingxu with his melting eyes, “care about it now?”

Does he care? What is he talking about? Han Mingxu was startled by her question.

Before he gave an answer, Li Qinghao already walked away.

Explain something. Explain! He thought to himself. But how? Because he really goddamn cared about it.

“Han Mingxu.” Again with the calm voice, that man smiled sexily under the sunshine, “my lord. Please walk before me to lighten my darkness.”

His smile was bright and beautiful. His face was perfect, neither too masculine stiff and tough, nor too femininely soft. He was a bit of manly pretty and ladylike gentle.

He was the mix of both.

Han Mingxu sensed that he was attracted by something dangerous.

“I thought you are familiar with this place.” Han Mingxu said with a teasing tone. Jimmy, who was following behind, narrowed his eyes.

“Maybe Nancheng Lie has ever brought me here when were still together.” He joked, also trying where this man’s bottom line was, or maybe he smoked something from the man’s reaction. If he was smart enough, he would never pick up the talk about Nancheng Lie again.

Han Mingxu smiled and pick up the topic‘ about Nancheng Lie because he knew what Li Qinghao was thinking.

It was a really big house. In the main room lived Han Mingxu’s grandfather, and the rest three independent houses lived Han’s two uncles and himself.

Han’s house was guarded with many bodyguards, which surprised Li Qinghao.

“This is?” He paused. It got complicated. Or is it because this Han Mingxu cared more about his personal safety? No. Although he only met this Mingxu a few times, he had a feeling that he didn’t like being surrounded by so many people.

“My bodyguards.” Han explained randomly. He held Li Qinghao’s hand while Li was about to stop, hesitating to get inside or not.

He frowned and felt that Han Mingxu changed all of sudden. He became a little cold, arrogant and noble.

“Sire.” The bodyguards at the gate saluted.

Sire?

Sire?!

Li Qinghao was genuinely shocked with eyes wide open, “am I in a dream?” He asked, holding Han’s hand.

“If your dream is so simple,” Han Mingxu paused, “ I can create for you.”

As Han Mingxu didn’t look back, Li Qinghao could only look at the back of his head, then the strong hand holding him. His grasp was firm. Unlike his smooth body, his palm was full of callus. As a doctor, he was pretty sure Han Mingxu grew them since he was little.

He must be very good at swordsmanship.

It was that moment when Li Qinghao was sure that the body was not the original one he had before, which meant the soul lived in that body was not Li Qinghao.

In this case, a brutal fact came across Li Qinghao’s mind, that man was pretending to be Han Mingxu, and furthermore, he was a part of the gunshot.

“Aren’t you the lucky one?” Han Mingxu stopped and turned around, holding Li Qinghao’s hand, “this is the first time I turn my back, the side I can not protect, to someone else.” If Li Qinghao was powerful enough to do something, Han Mingxu would be dead now.

“You know that I can’t.” Li Qinghao sounded like he was complaining.

Han Mingxu looked at him and then laughed out loud suddenly.

“You naughty boy!”

He blushed.

In Nancheng Lie’s hand, it was Li Qinghao’s profile which he had read thoroughly for dozens of times. He didn’t find anything skeptical. The only problem was that his personality changed completely two years ago.

He didn’t care what happened to this toy he once abandoned. He then squeezed the paper into a ball. However, he got Han Mingxu’s attention.

Long time no see!

He greeted him like an old friend when they met at the shop. What surprised him was that he thought he knew him somewhere, like long time ago.

Xu, he murmured Han Mingxu’s name and suddenly realized that Li Minghao was kind of similar to that Han Mingxu in his heart. Next chapter -> I would Be Serious only to Him for the Rest of My Life.
