""ugh"
A tiny frame too small and frail to be called a body rose out of a pile of semi-soft material that vaguely resembled a place to rest. The boy and owner of said frail body yawned as he looked around at his familiar surroundings. The others were still asleep and would be for a while as the boy was always the first of them to wake. The empty, quiet chamber surrounded by cold, rock wall never gave a sense of ease, it always made the boy feel the contrary.
As the boy stood up off the pile he revealed his full staggering height of 1.8 feet! He was rather insecure of his height, even for a 4 year old goblin child this height was rather sad. Goblins as a species never grew that tall, the tallest in their tribe barely breaching four feet was considered to have god-like genetics. But as they were monsters they grew to full physical maturity rather fast, almost all of the other young ones were already above 2.5 ft, starting to grasp the cusp of average goblin height(3 feet).
Soon the boy considered himself collected and he walked to the hide, if you could even call it that, flap that served as an entryway to the chamber and barrier from the elements. Feeling the sun hit his skin and assault his squinted eyes, he couldn't help but hiss. He hated the brightness of the beaming sun. As his eyes were adjusting to the early morning wilderness, he made his way to the water pit amidst the camp. The camp consisted of a semi-circular clearing against a large steep cliff that was home to several small holes in its side. Each covered with flaps of hide that served different purposes, though the boy did not know what purposes as he had only ever been in the one where the young gather. Bordering this semi circle was a densely packed line of sharpened and reinforced sticks with a few openings to let the older ones in and out. The space from the stick wall to the cliff side was rather empty except for the water pit, the hole where we relieved ourselves, and the fire pits.

Once the boy had arrived at his water filled destination he took a glance at the water and seemingly for the first time in his life saw his own reflection. His pupils dilated and his eyes widened, he desperately looked around trying to understand the new found information of his own existence while slightly panting from adrenaline. Although his mind was new and his only current emotions were slight fear and drowsiness he couldn't help but formulate a rather crass opinion of his surroundings. He wasn't new to talking as he was considered rather smart by the tribe so the words naturally fell out of his mouth, but this time he was aware of what he was saying and what it meant.
