*Whoosh*
A small ball of fire no larger than a baby’s fists flew like an arrow hitting an old tree causing it to shake for a few seconds from the impact.
“Wow…” A young man no older than 16 years old was wearing an old black robe that was a bigger than his size with a delicate face that was partly covered by his black hair was standing not too far away from the old tree.
Of course this young man was Sankon after a few days of practicing Magic his presence was different than before, his innocent demeanor was now replaced by a sense of calmness, with a hint of killing intent underneath that seemed sharp as a blade.
“mhmm with my Mana my fireball is only passible compared to the real fire ball” Scratching his cheek the young man can’t help but bitterly smile as his own fireball was smaller and weaker to the original one on the scroll since his Mana was fairly small which is understandable considering he only has been training for a few days.
“Imagine a small fire, feel the heat, the life it gives…” The young man slowly closed his eyes and muttered.
After a few seconds small red dots of lights which were invisible to the naked eye were slowly coming close together in Sankon’s right opened hand. Then a small blaze appeared in the middle of his palm then like a flower it bloomed into a small fire ball.
“Phew, success again!” Sankon smiled happily while wiping the sweat of his forehead before creating a fireball he had many failed attempts, this was his only 2nd successfully attempted of creating a fire ball.
“Crap!” The small fireball in Sankon hand suddenly got smaller and smaller until it disappeared leaving only a trail of smoke in the air.
“Looks like my Mana is only capable of handling 1 fireball” Sankon laughed out loud with a carefree attitude not caring at all about his failure instead he seemed excited as his eyes seemed brighter than normal.
*Grumble~* “Tsk. I forgot I haven’t eaten since last night…” As his stomach emitted a noise similar to a hungry beast Sankon shooked his head and laughed.
Inside a forest Sankon was walking quietly with a dagger in hand occasionally looking around him while hiding behind trees as he moved forward.
After the time it takes to drink tea Sankon arrived a bit deeper in the forest.
Slowly Sankon looked around on the ground as he was looking for something.
“Looks like today was a big catch!” Sankon laughed as he arrived in a triggered pit trap where a boar was multiply impaled with wooden spikes all over its body.
“Ouch! this fatty…” When Sankon tried to carry the Boar out he didn’t know how heavy it was so as soon as he grabbed it’s head and pulled he slipped and fell down to the ground.
“…”
“With this much meat this will last me for quite awhile!” Sankon laughed as he looked at the dead boar behind him.
After many attempts Sankon ended up cutting the boar in half to get it out and made a make shift stretcher out of wood as he dragged the boar slowly back home.
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
After sometime as Sankon carefully travelled back home while occasionally checking his surroundings he arrived in his old oak tree home.
Arriving in his room Sankon got to work as he quickly skinned the boar like an expert, then proceeded to gut the boar while slicing it into smaller pieces. He then lit a small makeshift clay stove underneath his floor. As soon as the fire started the smoke from the fire was suddenly sucked in by a small white ashed flower next to the stove.
“This Ash Flower is really useful” Sankon can’t help but smile when he saw the flower suck in the smoke. By chance he found this flower and found out that its main food source was smoke since it grows near volcanoes or where fire occasionally occured. Thanks to this flower Sankon was saved from many troubles of when using fire.
Sankon then proceeded by putting a few pieces of meat in a frying fan while adding a few herbs and spices.
Soon the room was filled with a sweat aroma of cooked meat.
“This is good!” Sankon can’t help but smile as he woofed down the meat like a hungry beast
*Burp~* “How come I was so hungry? Is this what happens when you train with magic?” After finishing his meal Sankon was still hungry so he continued to cook more meat then he intended to which resulted in him cooking half the boar.
“I guess this means I’m getting stronger…” Sankon smiled happily normally he wasn’t such a big eater since he’s body was normally physically weak but ever since he started practicing magic he seemed to be more leaner even a little bit more taller.
After eating, Sankon then went outside and climbed the old tree as he sat down closed his eyes and crossed legged as he faced the moon.
Ever since Sankon started training magic he never stopped once he occasionally trained throughout the day.
After a few moments Sankon was immersed in the meaning of Mana control then he suddenly started growing dimmed blue like a festival lantern.
If other mages were to see this they would be so shocked that their eyes would pop out, firstly no ordinary mage can suddenly immersed themselves with Mana control after only a few days of training magic but then to actually project Mana being absorb onto your body, that’s a phenomenon that’s unheard off!
“Mana is... it flows through everywhere… why does it seem so concentrated when the moon is out?” Sankon muttered.
“Co-ugh… Blood…?”
*Boom!* “Aah!” Out of nowhere when Sankon suddenly started coughing out blood, there was a mini explosions of blue lights from his chest than he flew in the air falling down like a fallen leaf.
“Cough, What th-…” Before Sankon can even finish his sentence he fainted….
