This chapter is a list of the abilities of the main character as per the most recent chapter on Royal Road. If you have not read up to the current chapter, be aware that there are spoilers ahead.

Information about the layout of abilities:
The Fate Wheel is divided up into four segments: Top, Right, Bottom, and Left. Unfortunately at this time I do not have a good way to visually represent that, although I hope to in the future. Here is a brief description of the different sides of the Fate Wheel, which I generally refer to by their directions, as while certain section tend to specialize in certain abilities, that can vary from person to person.
Top section: This section has general utility and support skills. This is the section that crafting abilities fall into.
Right section: The main focus of our MC. This section is focused on physical abilities.
Bottom section: This section has the most variance from person to person, and also has the strangest abilities out of all the sections. As such, this section is the hardest to quantify. It is most similar to the Top section, but the abilities tend to be more specialized and niche.
Left section: This is the magic section, with a wide variance within that depending on the person. Think typical mage and wizard abilities as well as some other supporting magic skills.
The Top, Right, and Left sections each start with two abilities in the tier one slot, while the Bottom only has one. Out of the four sections, the Right and Left are the most used, as they focus the most of combat power, and each of them is generally further split into two branches, each branch referring to the branching abilities from the two different tier one skills. For example, the two branches for the Right section would start from Inner Strength and Impact.
By unlocking an ability, you reveal two new choices in the next tier. For example, by unlocking the tier one ability Impact in the Right section the two tier two abilities Power Attack and Dash are revealed. The abilities that are revealed are often related to the ability that was just unlocked, which is part of the reason that the Right and Left sections are commonly further split into two branches, as the branching paths are very different.

A quick note on ability use and cooldowns: The abilities in the Fate Wheel are generally split between active and passive. I try to make that clear in the story, but for clarity’s sake, I marked all active abilities with a * after the description. I also used the mark for single-use abilities that have a onetime effect when they are unlocked and abilities that need constant focus to remain active. Regarding cooldown time and activation cost of abilities, the cooldowns are not specified, but sometimes the ability description says that it has a long cooldown, which generally means at least a few hours but could be as long as a few days. Cooldowns are not static, and as someone grows more powerful, ie, gains more Essence, the cooldowns decrease. Abilities are activated with mental energy. Like doing anything, you can get tired out if you use your brain too much. Abilities are the same. Generally abilities can be activated on cooldown, but if someone uses too many abilities in rapid succession and strains themselves they will face a backlash and will have trouble using abilities for a while.
Top section:
Tier one:
Utilization – Helps to use abilities in the Fate Wheel.
Description – Gives a short description for abilities in the Fate Wheel before you unlock them.
Tier two:
Improved Learning – Improves learning speed and allows for faster understanding of learned content.
Integration – Improves ability to use abilities in the Fate Wheel in tandem with each other.
Inspect – Allows for greater understanding of materials.*
Message – You can send a short telepathic message to a willing target.*
Tier three:
Improved Understanding – Improves understanding of learned knowledge.
Implementation – Increases your ability to put ideas into practice.
Synergy – Allows for more synergy from actions and creations.
Tier four:
Body Understanding – Allows for a better understanding of your body.
Improved Synergy – An improved version of the Synergy skill.
Right section:
Tier one:
Inner Strength – A small physical boost that all helps with Essence circulation.
Impact – Gives a small boost to striking power when attacking.
Tier two:
Energy Sustenance – Circulate Essence to help sustain body functions.
Power Attack – Increase the power of your next attack.*
Dash – Dash forwards a short distance.*
Improved Physique – Provides a small boost to physique.
Tier three:
Cleave – Horizontally extend the range of your blows to hit multiple enemies with reduced effect.
Elemental Blade – Infuse an attack with an element you are attuned to.*
Enhanced Vitality – A slight boost to vitality.
Power Jump – Slightly improved landing ability from jumps. Allows you to jump long distances.*
Dodge – Increases your ability to dodge attacks.
Iron Skin – Improves toughness of skin.
Iron Stomach – Ability to digest more and slight increase in poison resistance.
Body Boost – Temporarily boost body attributes.*
Tier four:
Double Strike – Strike two times in quick succession.*
Fleet Footwork – A slight increase in speed and the ability to move your feet faster than normal.
Firm Footing – Increased traction and ability to keep your balance.
Elemental Perception – Increases perception via elements you are attuned to.
Regeneration – Increases regeneration rate.
Sweep – Sweep weapon in an unstoppable arc.*
Rapid Healing – The ability to heal faster.
Strength Boost – A passive boost to strength.
Block – Block one attack.*
Force Absorption – Dissipate a small amount of the force from attacks.
Adrenaline Surge – Grants a powerful surge in physical ability followed by a period of intense weakness.*
Explosive Blow – Creates a small explosion on impact.*
Centered Balance – Help you keep your balance.
Read the Flow – Read the flow of battle to better dodge attacks.
Tier five:
Bone Breaker – Increased blunt force damage and ability to break bones.
Sudden Strike – Allows you to attack out of nowhere, overriding previous momentum.*
Lighten – Lessens the effect of gravity to reduce your weight.
Speed Burst – Allows you to gain a burst of speed for a limited time.*
Undying – Greatly improves stamina and vitality.
Whirlwind – Swing your weapon around in a circle hitting all enemies in the immediate surroundings.*
Muscle Enhancement – Creates better muscles.
Bone Compression – Increases bone density.
Explosive Strikes – For a short period of time all attacks gain a mini explosion effect with a small knockabck.*
Replenish Blood – Replenishes blood faster.
Rejuvenation – Greatly increases healing for a short period.*
Elemental Boon – Gain a benefit based off of a chosen attuned element.*
Sustain Life – Gives you the ability to stay alive for a short period of time even when internal organs are failing.

Elemental Senses – You can channel your senses through an element you are attuned with to extend your range of perception.*
Improved Dodge – Improves the Dodge skill.
Tier six:
Stunning Blow – Attack to deal blunt force damage and stun a target.*
Rupture – Better ability to inflict internal damage, especially through shielding.
Lifesteal – Siphon a small amount of vitality and stamina from killed enemies.
Air Step – Allows you to create a foothold in thin air with a long time between uses.*
Flash Step – A teleportation-like quick step skill.*
Quick Reflexes – Improves reflexes.
Explosive Strength – Better ability to do quick, powerful movements.
Sustained Strength – Better ability to do sustained movements.
Tensile Strength – Increased ability to withstand pressure.
Body Durability – Increases body durability.
Elemental Aspect – Gain an aspect of a chosen attuned element.
Improved Healing – Improves the effects of healing from all sources.
Recover – Channel internal power to heal wounds.*
Greater Sustain Life – Improves the Sustain Life skill.
Unhindered – Allows you to exert combat strength as if you were injured less.
Water Senses – You can channel your senses through water to extend your range of perception.*
Elemental Strike – A physical strike imbued with a chosen element.*
Tier seven:
Crush – Deal heavy damage with an attack.*
Greater Lifesteal – Improves Lifesteal.
Double Jump – Jump a second time as if you were pushing off the same surface as the first jump.*
Instinctual Parry – Instinctually parry any one life-threatening attack, with a long time before another attack can be parried.
Elemental Body – Permanently gain bonuses from chosen attuned element.
Greater Healing – Greatly improves the effects of healing from all sources.
Heal – When the ability is used you are healed for a small amount.*
Healing Essence – Heal for a small amount when gaining Essence.
Berserk Fury – Increase strength at the cost of vitality.*
Pierce Resistance – Gives a small resistance to piercing effects.
Slash Resistance – Gives a small resistance to slashing effects.
Increased Defense – Gives a slight overall increase to your defense.
Water Strike – A physical attack imbued with the water element.*
Tier eight:
Strengthened Blows – Strike with more strength.
Stamina Drain – Each blow passively absorbs a small amount of stamina from the target.
Elemental Recovery – Absorb attuned element to recover and heal.*
Tier nine:
Giant’s Strength – Increases strength to giant proportions.
Basic Elemental Form Water – Gain a partial water elemental form.*
Healing Water – You can channel water to heal both yourself and others.*
Tier ten:
Elemental Form Water – Gain an improved water elemental form.*
Decimating Fist – A decimating fist attack.*
Tier eleven:
Advanced Elemental Form Water – Gain an advanced water elemental form.*
Bottom section:
Tier one:
Starter Kit – Gives some basic information, a care package with some clothes, food, and some basic necessities, and one other thing decided by the person themselves before they enter The Tower.*
Tier two:
Ability Boost – The next ability below tier three that you unlock has double the effect.*
Beginner’s Gift – Doubles the amount of Essence currently in your Fate Wheel.*
Tier three:
Loot Finder – Improves the drop rate of crystals and spheres.
Ability Increase – Choose one ability to have an improved effect. The chosen ability can be changed every eight days.
Essence Finder – Improves the change to get bonus Essence from kills.
Reset – Allows for the use of an ability twice in rapid succession in exchange for a drastically increased cooldown.*
Tier four:
Discount – The next ability you unlock costs half the Essence cost.*
Surge – A berserk type skill that when activated supercharges abilities but is followed by an intense period of weakness when the skill finishes.*
Ability Perception – Allows you to have a better understanding of the abilities that other people use.
Compass – Never lose your internal sense of direction to places you have been.
Hunch – You get a hunch sometimes about things.
Tier five:
Strength Estimation – Allows you to better estimate other’s strength.
Tracking – Makes you better at tracking.
Camping – Makes you better at camping.
Lucky Break – Gives you a lucky break once before the skill is spent.*
Tier six:
Skill Tier Estimation – Allows you to better estimate the tier of the skills other people are using.
Skill Sense – Gives you a better ability to know when someone is using a skill.
Light Rest – Gives you a better ability to sleep lightly.
Tier seven:
Tireless – Reduces your need for sleep by a small amount.
Left Section:
Tier one:
Meditation – Meditate to passively absorb a very small amount of Essence.*
Tier two:
Focus – Improves focus and the allows for an easier time activating abilities.
Attunement – Choose an element to attune to.
Tier three:
Overcharge – Charge an ability to increase its power.
Shaping – Allows for very small tweaks to be made to what an ability does.
Elemental Boost – Set an element to get a boost.
Elemental Blast – Shoot out a blast or pure elemental power.*
Tier four:
Improved Overcharge – Improves the ability Overcharge.
Improved Range – Slightly increases the range for all abilities.
Improved Precision – Slightly increases the precision for all abilities.
Elemental Casting – Slightly improves the use of all elemental abilities.
Elemental Shock – Creates a burst around you of a chosen element.*
Elemental Shield – Create a shield of a chosen element.*
Tier five:
Rapid Casting – Slightly improves your ability to use abilities in rapid succession.
Improved Concentration – Improves your concentration.
Greater Range – Increases the range for all abilities.
Greater Precision – Increases the precision for all abilities.
Elementalist Aura – When active, boost elemental abilities at the cost of non-elemental abilities.*
Elemental Terrain – Draw power from an attuned element in the surroundings.
Elemental Wave – Send a chosen element out in a wave attack.*
Elemental Armor – Create armor from an attuned element.*

Greater Focus – Improves the Focus ability.
Mental Resistance – Slight resistance to mental impairing effects.
Aura of Water – When active, boost all water elemental abilities.*

Guide to making sense of the Fate Wheel:
The system is rather complicated, so I’ve had to create a way to lay it out to keep track of the skill trees. Without an easy way to do so visually, I’ve instead created an easy-to-follow numbering system. The numbers in each tier are listed out starting from 1. For example, in the Right section, Inner Strength is listed as 1, and Impact is listed as 2. Then for the tier two abilities, Energy Sustenance is 1, and Improved Physique 2, Power Attack 3, and Dash 4. For a visual representation of how that would look, see my crude attempt at graphing it out below.

This means that with some simple math I can keep track of the skill trees. For example, if ability X is number 31, then in the next tier the two abilities that are revealed by ability X are numbers 61 and 62. To find the abilities in the next tier that branch out, simply double the number of ability X which gives you the first ability revealed, and then subtract 1 from that number to give you the second ability that is revealed.
