In the world of Materria, before mankind walked upon the earth, other races existed in relative harmony. The world was separated into cultural sections, secluded from one another. Alfin lived in the deep woods, Dwergaz mined the mountains, the nomadic Orkesh wandered the wastes, and many more wondrous races lay scattered across the lands. When mankind came, chaos swiftly followed. With unlimited potential they developed sprawling cities, and slowly expanded to sustain their growing numbers. Humanity found common ground with the industrious Dwergaz and the desperate Orkesh, and together founded the Alliance of Steel. An alliance which slowly pulled Materria into a seemingly endless conflict, one in which all the races of Materria were forced to partake in.
