The man who changed everything: Part One
I didn't want to believe the words I just heard, maybe if I waited, she would say it was a joke.
"Did you not hear me? I said we are done!" She screamed, shaking me out of this trance-like state I was in.
How can this be happening? This CAN'T be happening, without her, I will have nothing left. I have to change this; yes, it's not too late yet. I'm sure I can convince someone like her to stay.
"But why, I thought things were going well? Please give me another chance!" I pleaded desperate to try to fix this before it was too late.
"Are you going to make me say it out loud? I was trying to be nice."
Trying to be nice? What could that even mean, THIS is being nice? No, she has never been nice in this entire relationship. Always wanting more and more from me.
That Bitch
"What are you saying?" I asked, wanting nothing more than this to be a dream.
"I've found someone else, someone better suited for me."
That Bitch, did she really cheat? There's no way, she needed me. I remember her distinctly saying that. After all, I did for her? She would backstab me like this?
I should fucking kill her right now.
No, not yet. I still need her. I need her house and she has four toes. On my own, I would have much fewer opportunities in general.
Yes, I need to convince her to stay for now; even still, it's not too late to change things around.
"Couldn't we have talked this out? You didn't have to cheat!" I shouted louder than I intended, and seeing her gaze at me, I almost immediately regretted that decision. Her gaze was cold, not angry or spiteful, just indifferent.

Almost instantly, her face grew slightly tense, and I could almost see her fail to hold back her emotions.
"THIS is what I mean! You always try to make me feel sorry for you!" She screamed in a shrill tone like metal scraping the floor. Her eyes were full of emotion now.
"Make you feel sorry," that's laughable; she's the one who cheated, and yet she's trying to be the victim. She's the same, isn't she, the same as all the other women. Always trying to spin things around and make everything about themselves.
"I just want to talk this out! That's all I want!" Saying that only seemed to make her angrier, the tension in her face could be seen across the room.
"YOU never cared about me! You just used me for security and then act like I'm the villain for trying to find someone who actually likes me for who I am and not how many toes I have!"
That's not true, she really thinks I don't care? I care a lot. More than she deserves; sure, I rely on her, but she's not special. All she has is four toes, she isn't even rich.
"You're wrong I love you!" I screamed, the fear of losing everything was dragging down my composure alongside my rationality. My body slightly shaking from the emotions.
I can't lose her, this isn't working. Think... Think..... Try to come up with something, anything to convince her to stay. What can I do to make her understand...
"If you truly love me, then name one thing you have done for me that hasn't directly benefited yourself!"
What kind of loaded question is this? Everything a person does benefits themselves, and if they say they do things that don't, they are lying.
Think of something...
"..."
"That's what I thought. You act like nobody cares for you, but you only care about yourself!"
That bitch, she already has given up on me, hasn't she? Has she ever actually cared? Probably not; she probably was just doing this for her own amusement. The very instant someone who probably has more toes came around, she threw away her toy.
"WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT ME! YOU ARE JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!" I shouted, no longer caring about the consequences.
Despite everything she said and did, an expression of being hurt is displayed on her. Her normally emotionless face suddenly has nothing but them.
"I tried this for years! I waited for you to get better! To become a better person, but you are just as bad as the people you criticize!"
This can't be happening. This must be a dream. I will wake up back in bed with her and we can go back to our normal lives, I love her; she is wrong. She should be grateful for how much I care about her, but she doesn't care. All she cares about is that I have two toes.
"Just get out of my house, please. I've already packed your bags." She said, turning around and hiding something in her hands.
Her face was seemingly full of every emotion possible at the same time. She carefully puts something in her back pocket and walks out of the front door, slamming the door in my face.
"I'll just wait here until you actually want to talk!" I yelled through the door, not even knowing if she heard me.
No, this isn't over yet. I have nowhere to go, and I only have two toes. I can't even get an apartment with this, I will run out of toes within the month.
I'll wait... and convince her... it's not too late...
My body, drained from all the emotions I felt, collapses onto the couch. Almost immediately after touching it, I fell asleep.
