Chapter 1.3 - Dreaming Reality lll

"Well, anyway, since you can access other memories and dreams, can you take me to a memory of someone else?"

The Dream Beast looked at Malkoth, and Malkoth gave a slight smirk to him.

---

In a peak of a giant mountain, closer to the falling edge, Malkoth and the Dream Beast stood.

"What is this place?" asked the Dream Beast.

"This is the home of one of my friends, well not exactly her home, but it's directly at the bottom of this place," said Malkoth.

"Did you come to see her in your last moment, is she someone special to you?" asked the Dream Beast.

Malkoth took a few steps forward. In the ground around him, there were a few plants that had reddish-colored berries at the tip of them. Plucking a few of them, Malkoth put one in his mouth.

"Hmm, it's really tasty. You know, this mountain is famous for this fruit; they said it's a gift from God to humankind," Malkoth said, showing the fruit to the Dream Beast.

Plucking a few more berries, Malkoth walked closer to the edge of the mountain. As he looked at the horizon, the Dream Beast followed him.

"Ahem, a bit of privacy, please, for a quiet moment and in a special place for the last Time," Malkoth gazed back at the Dream Beast.

"Oh, okay, I wait here," said the beast.

"By the way, I remember her saying the top of this mountain is always very windy, but I don't feel any wind. Don't you think it's strange?" asked Malkoth.

"I just shut off unnecessary features because this is a copy and short memory. If you want it, I would allow them to happen," said the beast.

"What, you shut down those natural things? What's wrong with you? This is my final moment, I want to feel everything, let everything happen here flow according to her memory, and don't touch anything after," exclaimed Malkoth.

"Well, you're the one going to die, and it's your dying wish," said the Beast, and the wind from the horizon began to blow fiercely toward them.

Staying at the edge of the cliff, Malkoth faced off against the wind. His legs felt weaker, and he slowly sat down at the cliff.

"I feel weak, and all of these memories," Malkoth said softly as he turned his face away, showing a deep sadness in his heart.

In the face of the Beast, a creepy smile appeared.

Srip!

But his smile vanished as he saw Malkoth unzip his pants and begin peeing from the top of the edge to below.

"Didn't he say there was a home of his friend directly below this place?"

"I remember it's like yesterday, how she said this place got split in half all of a sudden," malkoth uttered while peeing.

This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.

"A what?" is the Beast's question. But suddenly, between Malkoth and the Beast, a huge crack appeared in the mountain as it split. The part where the Beast was began to crumble as it fell to the ground.

Crik! Clang!

From the sky, a sudden and glass-breaking sound emitted, and a crack appeared. From the crack, a hand appeared.

"That's my call," Malkoth unzipped and jump toward the crack in the space and grabbing the hand.

Next moment, the hand pulled out Malkoth from the crack, and Malkoth arrived in the outside world.

"Ah, reality," said Malkoth, taking a deep breath.

Cassien, who pulled Malkoth, and the others who helped him, were all pushed back by the force Malkoth came up and struggled to stay in the air.

Bang! Bang!

The original Dream Beast suddenly went on a rampage as it broke the chains binding it and stood up. The dream domain got shattered from its power, and all of the others, who's stood on its back, dispersed and floated around in the air.

The Dream Beast is a beautiful silk-worm-like beast which had a few threads coming out from its body and became invisible as they increased in length.

"Ragh!" it roared, and the threads coming out from its body began to glow.

"Be careful, it's about to release its dream wave. If you get caught, you'll fall into eternal slumber," exclaimed Elias.

Cassien tried to back himself from the air, and Selene and Lyra grabbed each other's and tried to get away from the beast. Talia extended her hand toward the ground trying to use her power, and Aldin's hand got equipped with a sword and a gun, and he dashed toward the beast.

The brightness of the beast intensified, and it emitted a wave through the air which pushed back everyone dashing toward it.

"Shit, it's coming, everyone try to resist it!" Elias screamed. Through the air, an illusory colorful wave began to emit from the beast's body.

"Time to say goodbye, old pal," suddenly everything went silent and froze in time.

Tik-tik!

"Got about twenty minutes," said Malkoth, putting the stopwatch back in his pocket.

He flew through the space and got close to the Dream Beast.

"Oho, tough shell," he said, tapping the hard skin of the beast.

"Hmm," he saw the sword and the gauntlet in Aldin's hand.

"Thank you," says him as he took the sword and gun from Aldin and equipped himself.

Swish!

Malkoth sliced the body of the Dream Beast and struck his hand inside it. Searching for something, he took out a gleaming round gem from inside of its body.

He put the gem inside his clothes and put the sword and gun back in Aldin's hand again.

Tik-tik!

Right at the moment when he done all this, his stopwatch rang and everything began to flow again.

"Ragh!" Aldin screamed as he rushed toward the beast, and others also tried to resist the wave emitting through the space, but in this sudden moment, the waves all disappeared. Throughout the beast's body, cracks began to appear, and it crumbled to ashes in the next moment.

"Malkoth, are you okay?" After the beast got destroyed, everyone's attention is aimed toward Malkoth, and Selene asked hurriedly.

"Yeah, yeah," said Malkoth, walking toward their tron.

Everyone looked at him with each having different kinds of expressions.

"Eh, Selene isn't our mission here is to retrieve dream crystals," Lyra reminded at the moment.

"Shit, it already turned to dust. Now how are we going to get those things?" Selene exclaimed.

"No need to worry. I think I have some extras that I collected for later. We could submit them for the mission," Elias said to her, comforting her.

"Oh, Elias, I don't know what we're gonna do without you," said Selena, hugging Elias. Elias's face turned red in the embrace of Selene.

"So, Malkoth, do you have anything to say to us?" Cassien asked as he walk toward Malkoth.

"Oh, right, good job with defeating that thing," said Malkoth, leaning on the tron seat.

Hearing him, no one felt any gratitude from Malkoth.

"Man, he never learns," Talia said in a disappointed tone as she walked back to the vehicle. Others also murmured about Malkoth as they followed her.

"Alright, our mission is done, everyone return to your base," Selene exclaimed from the vehicle toward the other workers and armored warriors in the area.

"I'm glad you're safe malkoth, not that I doubt it" Selene said to malkoth.

Steering the vehicle, they drove back to where they came, and a large flying ship could be seen in the sky heading toward their location. It was their ship to return to their base.
