Kanabe works as a section manager for widly franchised furniture store, he is the General Manager’s errand boy and disliked by alot of other managers in the store for their assumption that he’s a brown nose.

It is daily wear and tear for him to work but there - but the likelyhood of him finding a job where he can use his accounting degree is slim, especially in a world where you either have to know someone or you have a place in like because they know you. Dog eat dog.

”Aggnnn” he slinks up from his bed and plants his feet beside his bed and stares at....

”mmm I cant even see the ground, this stomach is getting a little out of hand here” he pokes the side of his stomach and watches as the fat ripples from one end to the other.

Kanabe slinked through the front door at work with his satchel full of applications for clients.

” haha, my god that is uncanny because I was thinking the same thi…..you’re a little late there Nijo…”

Kanabe looked over..there he was…. Kooru Worisu…leaning against the displays for tv’s and beside him - Hana, the prettiest girl in the store.

”You know, I have the best sales in the 5 departments right now..I couldn’t be more proud of myself.” said Kooru as he looked back towards Hana resuming the conversation.

Kanabe sighed and shuffled down the aisle to his desk, his department is kitchen appliances. “uncanny…uncanny…UN…CANNY” the words and face of Kooru saying it resonating through his mind as Kanabe stood there… face to face with a rice steamer with pictures of curry on the pop art.

” Im going to do my best today” he said with a deadpan expression, still looking at the steamer.
