I’ve decided to take a step back from this story and slow down my updates. Initially, I started posting to help gain some momentum in editing a second draft of my novel. Unfortunately, it’s done the opposite.

This story has been hit with a large percentage of 0.5 ratings in my first chapter. This was not something I was prepared for when posting. Each 0.5 rating tanks my ranking and overall rating and it has become increasingly frustrating to combat.

I was prepared for some not so great ratings and negative comments in later chapters, but this caught me off guard. With this, and a couple of issues I’ve discovered in this draft, I’ve decided to slow down my updates. This means I’ll be posting more sporadically and at a much slower pace.

As of now, it’s not going on Hiatus. But, to be transparent, that could change in the coming weeks.

If this goes on Hiatus, I’ll post another Author Update with information on the future of this story.
