After the perishing of Elements and Laws, the world gained the special ability to produce living beings, but the first thing that truly happened after the fall of elements and laws is the mutation of plants.

The mutation helped plants to evolve to a Magicule Plant or the alchemists like to call “Sacred Plants”.

Every Sacred Plant has different properties, some have the Fire attribute, some Water, Earth or even Air. It is exceedingly rare to find a Sacred Plant with a Light/Dark attribute even near impossible for an Alchemist to identify it.

After the evolution of plants, humans came to be.

The first batch of humans are extraordinary beyond words, they can clearly sense the elemental essence floating around them without even using any magical technique just by relying on their eyes. The Humans also tried to eat Sacred Plants and gain their elemental essence but it simply goes to waste, but they continued to eat it as it’s nutritious for them.

Unknowingly, the humans didn’t realize the existence of elementals beasts until years later. On those few years humans adapted and created their own magical system, the best technique in that primitive system is called “ Elemental Essence Gathering technique” by the help of that technique humans could gather elemental essence and shape in to a spell.

The biggest drawback is that the more powerful a spell the more elemental essence it needed, it took a long time for elemental essence to gather and condense, the weakest spells few minutes, the strongest spells tens of minutes or even an hour.

Shaping spells another hand took less time compared to the gathering of elemental essence, the less complex a spell the less time it took.

Another lesser drawback is that back then the spells the magical system had could be counted in two hands. Humans thought of themselves as god, the sole rulers of the world, that reality was shattered when elementals beasts appeared…

Humans weren’t prepared at all, the elementals beasts can utilize magic better than they do. A simple fireball takes a Human 13 minutes, while a Fire Beast takes 1 minute minimum and 3 minutes maximum.

In the first few battles Humans gradually learned the fact they are inferior in magic to beasts with basically no intelligence, but humans learned how to survive, they made battle formations, strategies that could help them kill the beasts.

The talented humans realized a fact, the elemental beasts do not gather the elemental essences in the surroundings but in fact they take elemental essences stored in their glabella to form a spell faster.

After learning and experimenting, humans found an unseen and hidden organ close to the glabella, they named it Magi. In the first experiment humans tried to store elemental essences by using “Elemental Essence Gathering technique” and it worked, but after few seconds their heads exploded.

Fortunately, it wasn’t a group experiment or the humans would’ve gone extinct.

After failed experiments and a quite few numbers of deaths, humans learned that a person is only compatible with one element, they also knew how to identify it by the color of the inside walls of the Magi, red represents Fire, blue represents Water, brown represents Earth, green represents Air.

Humans mages grew more powerful, their spells took less time. As the population of Elemental beasts isn’t very huge, they were almost wiped out, few beasts escaped.

After decades, Spirit beasts and Spirits appeared but this time the humans were prepared.
