The working title is 'Three Trips of the Clock' and involves telepathic cave bears, a magi with a fiery king-making sword, and spiders of fate which guard the River of Life. A special clock gets broken through misuse, throwing the world into time-tripping chaos. Our main hero is a retired park ranger and naturalist who will use her unique skills and communication abilities to bring a diverse group of new friends together to help. Most of them are human. They will venture into the past to make things right. The book will include lots of ecology, geology, genetics, magic and more.
