Chapter-4 "Not any normal person..."

The most urgent problem for Green right now was he didn’t have any good plan to make his progression constant. Never mind constant progression, he couldn’t see any way other seeking Magic Rune Spell Models, but he knew that these runes were just a small part if wanted to progress to another level.

Moreover, he still needed to learn how to make use of the Magic Rune Spell Models even if he knew the basic theory, it was all because Green was a total newbie to this new world and previous Green was nothing different.

After all, Green wasn’t a noble-born with a lot of money or any descendent of a great wizard family in this reincarnation. So, he had no knowledge about any topic related to Wizards what so ever, rather just some random talks that the pervious Green had heard about.

=====

Green walked inside the city walls. This city was not the territory of any particular wizard family or organization. The city walls were in oval shape instead of a circular one because there was two main structure standing tall which one could even see clearly from outside the city.

One of the main structures inside the city walls was a wizard tower and the remaining one was the portal which had direct access to the underworld.

The wizard tower was a large building standing erect with exact ten floors but the radius that the tower covered was no less. The whole tower looked like a leg of a huge monster while people going in and out of the tower were little ants foraging for food. The people going in and out, at the very least were apprentice wizards. But these ants were big enough to eat him whole without spitting out any bones.

While portal was a large grey coloured pyramid with a big hole on one of its side. It looked as if any huge giant had punched on one side of the pyramid. The hole was 200 meters high while the width was 500 meters. Just the numbers were unprecedentedly huge.

It almost looked like these two mountains like architectures were competing with each other. But right now, the purpose of his coming into this city was not the portal because Green didn’t know anything about it. Exploring it was just a suicidal thought!

His main objective to come here was Olin’s Open Guild. Olin’s Open Guild was just a platform for anyone to register their requests and accept these requests. The main thing was, other than charging fees when registering requests everything was cost-free.

If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it.

Anyone could accept these requests and no one would force you to accept them anyway, so the name Olin’s Open Guild was quite right.

After walking for half an hour Green reached in front of the of Olin’s Open Guild. The whole white building was hexagonal shaped containing around four floors. There was no one at the door and the doors were wide opened.

When Green stepped inside the tower, he couldn’t help be amazed at the hexagonal shaped room that looked exactly the same no matter ceiling or floor. If it wasn’t for gravity no would be able to sort out which was ceiling and which was the floor. He felt he was seeing an illusion.

Green had heard about this building that the first floor had a board which could talk and guide him to what he needed. Just as he walked inside the room that was as large as a football field, he saw many white boards which were twice the size of his palm.

As there were many people inside the room or say the hall, it didn’t look odd but even more flourishing. He went straight for the odd whiteboard, tapped on it twice. Just then he heard a voice, “Another death seeker…”

Green looked a bit surprised but managed to hold on to his voice but just then some words started surfacing on the whiteboard.

He looked around and saw many people holding the same whiteboards like holding their lovers, lost in themselves and there was nothing written on them as of his. When he peeked into their boards, he couldn't see anything written. He thought any person other than the one using the whiteboard might not be able to see it. Like protecting someone’s privacy, after all, there were so many people inside.

Green concentrated on his whiteboard written, “New User, Register or get out of here…” The dumbfounded Green looked at it for a while to register the rudeness filled in these words.

Of course, Green wasn’t any normal person either, when he lived with his rabbit teeth mother, all his politeness was beaten out of him. After living with her for 14 years, it was no surprise or made him angry in any way because there was nobody in front of him. Was he supposed to break this whiteboard? ‘It might take my whole life to fill the debt if this whiteboard took any damage of any sort…’ Green thought.

He touches the area with the word ‘register’. What happened next was nothing like filling out his name or anything, just some words that ‘You have been registered with an alias Noobforever… Please go to the counter 7 in room 2 and collect all your belongings.’

The whiteboard slipped out of his hands and stuck to the wall automatically. Green let out a sigh and walked towards the room marked number 2.

The room’s doors opened automatically and the interior was exactly the same just that this hall was a little smaller than the previous one and a long counter dividing the room into two parts.

The area behind the counter was covered with white and black mist and he could see was beautiful ladies that were doing their duties on the counter.

Green looked for counter 7 in the midst of fantasizing his encounter with these pretty ladies when a cold voice broke his chain of thoughts.

“Idiot…” He looked at the place where the voice came from and saw there was a boy with white monotonous skin, red lipstick and flashy makeup in female clothes.

At first, Green thought whether should he retort but after looking at him while trying not laugh he thought ‘This person must have him his own standards to tell me an idiot, thankfully I was an idiot in his eyes or else I might come in his category if he did any good comment.’

“Thanks, man, I think I am an idiot…” While the man was taken aback by his reply, Green waved his hand and walked towards the counter…
