Theo, a young man of 20, decides to get off the metro early to relax in Jardim do Morro in Porto. However, as he leaves the station, he realises that something is deeply wrong: the sky has taken on a bright purple hue, the streets are deserted, and strange hybrid animals, such as dogs with dragon wings and cats with peacock tails, stroll through the garden. To make things even more surreal, the city's iconic monuments, such as the Clérigos Tower, have completely lost their colour, contrasting with the vibrant, almost psychedelic scenery around them. Confused and a little scared, Theo tries to make sense of the situation, using his mobile phone - now limited to a diary app - to document his experience, while realising that he has been inexplicably transported to a distorted and mysterious version of the Porto he knows.
