Part one;
Everyone wears a hood.
Whether it is a hood of a jacket, a helmet or a head of hair that helps shield them from the outside world, we all wear them. But, we also wear them without realisation. Hoods are used to protect us. They are a defence method, except, they only work for the person wearing it. They hide the person underneath them, so only they can see out, and no one else can see in.
In Ashwood High, there was a snow haired girl. This girl, she wore a hood. Hers was invisible. She walks slouched, trying to blend in with the lockers that line the corridors. Her once ocean blue eyes, that used to catch the sunlight, have been hit with greying shadows. They have been tainted, tainted by her hood.
She is no longer seen with her friends, they left her when she did. She won’t be seen in the cafeteria anymore. Instead if you walk the halls you will hear the faint pin of keys falling with grace and precision. You would think an angel was playing to you, and you would wait for the angel to sing along. Only to be met by silence. Her once smiling face, now filled with nothing, allowing no one to see how frustrated or annoyed she is under her hood. She will spend a whole day walking aimlessly, listening to nature, and rarely showing her pearl teeth. She is eighteen, but has a knowledge you could never comprehend.
