[ Lily's POV ]
I can't remember anything.
Finally regaining consciousness, I carefully sat up to feel my back numb from the stone-cold floor I must've laid down on for quite a long amount of time.
As soon as I went back to my senses, I stood up with a bit of difficulty as my legs shook in the process of the attempt.
I wonder how long was I out for?
Looking around, I found myself in the middle of a long stretch of complete darkness that seemed to stretch for miles and miles away, almost as if the darkness was never-ending. The only source of light I had which barely helped me to identify my current location was the light that came from above, and it made me feel as though I was on a stage play as a spotlight is focused at me.
Feeling uncomfortable at the sudden thought of any living being just watching me from afar or worse-- near me, I kneeled and hugged myself, slightly feeling a sense of warmth from the silk fabric of the white long-sleeved dress I'm currently wearing. I have a hundred questions running through my mind, and I was dying for it to be answered.
What is this creepy place?
How did I get here?
Is someone out here besides me?
Those are one of the few questions I'm dying to be answered. I don't remember anything at all, no matter how hard I strain myself to at least remember bit of information from the memory capacity of my brain. All I remember is one thing, and one thing only.

My name is Lily.
Suddenly, quick-paced footsteps began echoing from no specific direction, but all I know is that this unknown creature is heading straight for me!
"EEK! Don't come any closer, o-or you'll regret it!" The words came out like I hadn't spoken for a very long time. My mind was unable to process the situation in a short amount of time and before I knew it, I knelt down and covered my eyes in fear.
Hearing the footsteps abruptly stopped, I waited for a few seconds before gathering the courage to open my eyes and see for myself what this 'monster' looked like.
"It...it worked!"
A beautiful, middle-aged woman stood right in front of me with her green, twinkling eyes staring right at my black ones with pure hope and happiness. It also looked like she was about to cry and to my surprise, she had already grabbed my wrist and dragged me along with her in just a split second, dragging me further away from the only source of light.
"Hey, lady! Where do you think you're taking me?!" I shouted in fear and vain, but no matter how hard I tried to let her know I was still there, it seems like she was distracted and persistently eager to bring me somewhere...and I don't feel good about it AT ALL!
As she came to an abrupt stop, she finally decided let go of my hand, leaving a slight ring mark on my wrist. Even I winced in pain just by touching the part where she had gripped ever so tightly. Does she have anger issues or something?
"Finally...now er...can you please tell me why you did that--Oh. My. Gosh."
I soon began to notice small fragments of the pitch-black darkness break and fade away one-by-one, slowly revealing a beautiful scenery of endless stretches of light green grass covering the small landforms of hills. Flowers and trees were everywhere, blossoming in the warm breeze. I felt my skin slowly relax at the sudden change of the air temperature. I could finally relieve myself from that freezing cold!
I shook it off and focused to what was before me. It was a beautiful scene, almost like I was transported in a scenery you can only find in paintings, it was all so colorful and majestic.
Despite the wonderland in front of us, the aura had become glum and miserable as the lady from before turned to face me with a now tragic expression on her face. A tear trickled down her puffed, rosey cheeks, her brown, wavy hair flowiing to the direction of the breeze.
For once, I knew I was here for a purpose in this world. An adventure where I knew I'll probably look forward to...or maybe I'll end up hoping I didn't even exist anymore because if a fantasy world such as this is not any better than my previous life...then what is there to live for anymore?
"You...Lily. You must save the Zodiac Club!"
Zodiac Club? I'm liking this already!
