Antonio’s PoV
Curse my mouth! Why did I say something so stupid? I didn’t want to say anything!
What would Nick say if he was in this situation, I’m pretty sure he will said something cool like in the novels he had read like ‘I swear on the heaven itself, if I survive this I will make you regret and destroy your kingdom!’
I almost laughed as I think about it.
“You ingrate! What is so amusing of your death!?” The King yelled uneasily, . He himself would be terrified if he knew he was dying but this kid smiled like he heard something trivial.
My mouth move by itself, “Its just you’re weak since It takes strength and restraint to be gentle. Only the weak are cruel. Gentleness can only be expected from the strong.” Wow I did not even knew about this saying.
“Hey kid.” I heard a voice on my head am I going crazy?, “No, I am soul in your body. I apologize due to my anger I said something unnecessary.”
“You controlled my body without telling me?!?” I yelled in my mind, “Because of you I’m going to die!” This soul is scary he can control me and I didn’t notice it.
“If I wasn’t in your body you would die when you’re fighting with the Drizz.” The soul said, “I gave you a tiny bit of power just enough to make it unconscious.”
“Drizz?”
“It is the one you called, ‘Goblin’.’”
“How come my classmates can kill them?” Nick and John killed them without any power.
“Drizz is a weak monster, even a group of kids can kill it but fighting it alone is a stupid thing to do with an ordinary body.” The soul said, “I will give you my Mana and try to escape in five minutes. Your level would rise to 9th level Wizard-mid it is enough for you to escape.”
Five minutes! Is that even possible?!?
“I don’t know… You can do magic without saying a thing which is impossible if you are at this level. Only an Arch-Mage can do it. Good luck!” He said uncertainly, I rolled my eyes but I didn’t say anything I looked around thinking a way to escape in the shortest time possible.
“Let’s do it then.” I said. The soul started to give Mana into my Mana pool, it felt weird like something crawled inside my body.
The King noticed it, “How did you---” This King is really curious about anything, if he didn’t ask I would have died. I’m lucky!
I didn’t let him finish and pointed at him and shouted, “Flash Bang!” A bright light erupted from my finger and stunned everyone. I gathered Mana in my body to strengthen it and pointed at the wall. “Rocket launcher!” A big ball of fire flew towards the wall and exploded, without missing a beat, I imagined wind to propel me towards the wall as soon as I outside I jump and made a platform of Mana to walk in the air. Thinking I was to slow I gave myself a boost and made a barrier around me and every ten seconds I repeat flash bang to make sure no one could follow me.

“Did I do great?” I asked the soul.
“You’re a freak!” The soul said aghast, “To fly one must become a Sorcerer or a Hero! Luckily the King is one step away from being a Hero and he can’t fly. By the way its four minutes already if you don’t go down you will fall due to insufficient Mana.” I paled, I’m glad he reminded me.

William’s Pov
“Will you stop it Alice?!?” I said annoyed by the girl who keep telling me her unbelievable theories. “Let’s say what you said is correct. What can we do about it?”
“I-I..” She sputtered, clearly she doesn’t have an answer.
“Why can’t you just accept this is our reality now? At least we can meet our parents! Don’t you want to feel what its like to a mother taking care of you? Stop being a hypocrite I know you like to “replace” yourself in this world.” I stressed the word replace not believing her.
She gritted her teeth, “You’re going to regret your choice in the future.”
Nick laughed, “Lookie here Daniel, William has a another wife than Faye its Alice!”
“Nick! This is not the time to joke around!” I yelled, whats wrong with this guy he seems to like to tease me! “And will you stop making the joke over and over again! Its getting annoying!”
“I’m warning you William.” Nick smiled dropped and his eyes showed a serious glint, “Just because your the ‘representative’ of our imaginary class, it doesn’t mean you can order us.” Nick growled at me, “You are reminding us of that man.”
I glared at him but he ignored it, “William remember silence lets you hear more. So listen to your ‘classmates’ if you don’t want to make mistakes. Remember? That man is ---”
Alice interrupted him, “Don’t remind us. We are on a different world, they can’t catch us…not anymore.” She glared at Nick, “SO SHUT UP!”
Daniel tried to lighten up the mood but failed miserably he muttered, “As always Anton is gone when you need him.”
…
After an hour of silence the guard called, “Mrs. Lucy, we are close please be prepared. Your new name shall be Lyre.”
“Why do we need a new name?” I asked.
“It is the order of His Majesty, we do not dare to question him.”
“I understand.”
“Nick I’m bored let’s play chess.” Phillip said while showing his phone.
“No way! I can’t defeat you.” Nick answered he glanced at Angel who was looking at the clouds, “Play with Angel.”
“What?!? I would play with her if Anton was around.”
Nick smirked, “What scared?”
“You know how she is when Anton is not with her, she’s scary.” Phillip shuddered as he remembered something he wanted to forget.
“Yeah, she is.” Nick agreed smiling brightly.
“Play with me?” Phillip asked again.
“No.” Nick answered immediately.
“Mr. John, we are close please be prepared. Your new name shall be Josidiah.”

After several hours only me and Alice is in the carriage not talking. She was angry at me because I didn’t believe her but I don’t care at all. Only an idiot would believe her.
“Mr. William, we are close please be prepared. Your new name shall be Witeus.” It felt irritating when the guard keep repeating what he had said except the names. He doesn’t have any vocabulary at all.
I nodded, the carriage stop, the guard yawned, “Follow me.”
We walked towards a mansion from the outside this mansion looks luxurious. It has been built with white stones and has oak wooden decorations. Tall, squared windows add to the overall look of the house and have been added to the mansion in a fairly asymmetrical pattern.
A man with black, straight hair is pulled back to reveal a fine, time-worn face. Hooded brown eyes, worriedly watched the street as if he was looking for something important when he saw me he shouted with joy, “Young Master Witeus! You’re back!”
“He was found on the forest of Ethylicus, clearly someone wanted to assassinate him. Fortunately he was unharmed.” The guard said coolly, “Please find someone competent enough to guard him, if he was harmed again His Majesty kindness will be all for naught.”
“Yes, I will.” The man said grimly, the guard nodded satisfied and left. That guard was a great actor. He would have fooled me if I was ignorant like this man.
“Follow me, this servant will bring you to Master.”
I stayed silent, the man seemed to view this as a confirmation and walked.
“Forgive me, Young Master but you seemed different.” The man hesitated a bit but his curiosity took over.
“I need to change, if I didn’t my life would have ended a hundred times in the forest.” I did not say anything after that.
“I see.” He frowned and shook his head. “We are close.”
I glanced at him, ‘Did he notice something?’
He knocked, “Master, Young Master Witeus has returned.”
“Witeus come in.” A slight sound of creaking as the door opened, I walked in and a man with chestnut, rugged hair slightly reveals a fine, worried face. Tired round green eyes, it seems he hadn’t slept for a week.
“Finally, you’ve returned my son.” He smiled tiredly but his tense body relaxed when he saw I’m unharmed. “Your mother would finally be at peace, she keep looking for you for five days without rest.” He sighed, “I forced her to sleep worried she might destroy her health.”
“I will always return since I want to become like you father or even surpass you.” I said.
He shook his head, “Surpass me? I would love if you live an ordinary life filled with happiness instead of a life filled with danger and pressure.” He passed me a scroll with golden engravings, “This is an invitation from a Academy, if you want to surpass me go to this place if you want to live an ordinary life stay here and live with your mother.”
He is different from my father. My father forced me to surpass him everyday I lived with so much expectations if it would continue I would become insane.
I’m envious.
But not anymore, my new ‘father’ wants me to be safe from harm and be happy. I smiled as I was thinking about it, “This world is truly wonderful.”
