York City, was a open city you could come in and, out as you want this was mostly because the statue that kept away all wild magical beasts. The city was huge with lots of houses all over in fact dad wanted to move here before but, mom rejected the idea.
Crime was very big with a population of over 100,000 people and, no walls of course it was very hard to get out and, in the city because of the sentry towers mostly there to prevent smuggling.
I went to the address given by the mission disciple
A shabby looking house with a fishy smell coming from the empty boxes stacked in front of their houses.
“Thats a lot of boxes for fish I thought to Drake I found that I could directly talk into his mind.”
“That is a lot of boxes but, I don’t think it’s too much when you are a fisherman.”
“Do you need a tour around the city sir?” A thin young man his age was maybe
He was around the same age as me 14 years old maybe he was one of those beggars I have heard of from mom.
“I have no need for a tour at this moment.”
“Could it be you're going to old John’s house he said pointing toward the house that had stacks of crates?”
“Yes that right is there something wrong?”
“No sir nothing's wrong” he said while trembling he quickly ran around a corner and, disappeared.
That was odd there is definitely something wrong here
a stocky old man came stumbling out of the shabby house.
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
“What’s all this ruckus going on here?”
“No, need to glare at me are you Mr, Jones?”
“How do you know my name he squinted at me I have never seen you before.”
“I have accepted the request you sent my academy.”
“Finally I sent a request to every academy in 300 miles yet no had accepted my request for almost 3 years you people in academies are so cocky I want to go hit you all with my wooden paddle!”
“I don’t think there's a need for that I said, anxiously he was holding a big black boat handle and, I had no intention of hitting hit black, and blue!”
“Humph come inside he spoke with a husky ascent we can go over the details.”
I followed him inside I was used to small houses so, that wasn’t a problem but, it smelled like rotten fish.
I looked around soon a item I saw shocked me a painting of a fisherman sitting in a peaceful boat riding down the ocean.
Where did you get that painting I looked shocked at
Mr, Jones like my soul was going to burst into pieces!
“That painting is a replica of the famous magic fisherman the original painting was made by the famous court painter Mr, Alexander I heard he doesn’t have a name.”
After hearing this my eyes turned serious I knew this painting even better than Mr, Alexander after all it was the cause of my family's downfall.”
“That painting must have been expensive I smiled acting as if nothing happened.”
“Yes, it was a fortune anyway back to the mission I want you to catch that mischievous rascal alive so I can get answer’s out of him the old fisherman said, while his eyes were going read.”
“Don’t worry you can keep the chest monster alive even after taking the natural treasure.”
I sighed in relief I thought that if I I captured the chest monster I wouldn’t get the treasure unless I killed it.
“This boat is so annoying!”
“You're supposed to row inverted”
“Shut up I was in the mood to listen to a voice of reason.”
After circling the island 10 times we finally reached the island it was a small island only 10 miles long with giant
pinecone trees.
“Huff, huff rowing a boat is so hard!”
“Lee if you listen to me even only a little bit it would have taken half as long you need to change your attitude if you want to became a good cultivator!”
I turned around ignoring his advice going straight for the center of the island.
“Watch out! Drake, yelled.”
A giant turtle with white specks covering its shell was running at me faster than a fox
“Who the hell told me turtles are slow!”
