Chapter 7. Destiny is cruel.
The second day of training went well. Tyndraid was depressed because he forgot he can use light magic which means, healing.
Yesterday went bad because he underestimated his capabilities. He had a lot of wounds and lost a lot of blood. He understood his mistakes. He must dodge and watch his surroundings and must be cautious of every unexpected event and make use of everything he has.
The training after that went better because he has a better understanding of what he should do. A dogfight kind of situation didn't happen.
His relationship with Ashley was awkward after he woke up, but things got better with time. Training was hard, but he scooped up with it.
But, After living in the world for three months, he discovered a couple of things.
The world is different than what he expected it to be.
Cars, machine guns, busses, motorcycles, and such things all still existed.
It wasn't the same apocalypse world he has seen at the start. People used these old world's machines as weapons and transportation vehicles.
But it's expected that petrol and gas will go out of storage.
New materials were discovered. These materials were as strong as steel but as common as copper, and some were stronger than diamond.
Some material were able to store magic and enhance magic spells.
Smiths worked day and night until they came up with a weapon that looked like a gun Which was made from new world's material, and had a spell formation drawn into it, allowing it to shoot fireballs instead of bullets. Usually, only hunter related classes who uses the bow can equip themselves with long ranged weapons. If a warrior who holds a great sword try to equip himself with a bow, it would immediately give him a shockwave, forcing him to drop it. But for some reason whatever, everyone can hold this new weapon.
The order chased the monsters out of their territory to make a base, But since the gates of the cities from the game world haven't yet opened, they can't build walls around them. So they had to live a significant distance away from the city walls. Also, they secured gas stations, vehicles, mines, farms, and roads.
The Order had its headquarter as the only skyscraper that hadn't disappeared in the area which was explored and cleaned from monsters. Small walls were built around the headquarter itself and 10 meters high, 3 meters wide walls were built around the city. And also, they built a wall every 400 meters.
The size of the city they were living in can easily sustain more than two million lives.
The Adherents didn't sit around idly.
The order tried to own all the weapons and vehicles, But a black market was created, and some were sold to The Adherents. The Adherents bought it using magic crystals that can be found inside of monsters.
Everything they got their hands on was purchased. That is an order given by Tyndraid. Trades were made outside the underground world of course. Tyndraid gave a couple of rules on that subject. The businesses must be dealt with in some deserted place which was far away from the territory of The Order, must take a couple of turns and change of transportation vehicles and be cautious to the maximum, all of that it to ensure the safety of The Adherents.

And that was, of course. Wasn't all of it. Tyndraid requested that in two months time, the average level must be 15. Everyone thought it would be easy, but never did they think it was the hardest thing they ever have done. Tyndraid himself worked until death to reach level 15 in two months after joining The Adherents.
Tyndraid made a decision; Natalia can have quantity, and he will have quality.
Everything was going as planned. War never stopped, it just became between the shadows. The Order couldn't find The Adherents while the Adherents couldn't do a lot and must be extremely cautious.
Tyndraid knew. With this kind of group, who had almost 20,000 members won't be able to hide for too long, Someone will miss up. It's destined to happen, but, until then, he must get stronger and raise the quality of the members to be able to withstand the attacks, he don't want to see people who have faith in him die for himself.
Even though he felt desperation whenever he thought about Natalia, he felt happiness being with Ashley and The Adherents, getting to know The inheritance title holders and others, Spending nights with thousands of people drinking and dancing, it gave him hope in this life. This is his real wish, to have a chance in this life, to feel happiness.
but... Destiny is cruel...
"BOOM!!"
Tyndraid heard while he was checking on his stats.
"INTRUDERS!"
"BFF"! The door of his room was destroyed, and it was Ashley.
"what's going on?!"
"THE ORDER CAME, WE MUST RUN!" she said as she held his hand and starting running to one of the many exits of the underground world.
The moment they came out of the room Tyndraid saw something that made his heart bleed.
At the main entrance of the cave, thousands, no, hundred thousand was rushing inside!
They made two huge lines, separating them was a woman, one single woman separating a horde of a million, even more.
He heard people calling his name pleading for help. People being bitten by monsters, cut by swords, and burned by fire.
Natalia was looking at the war in front of her in silence, to be more accurate, a one-sided massacre.
She was searching for something, obviously Tyndraid.
She ordered that if anyone saw him, prison him or cripple his movement, but never kill him. He must be tutored to death.
Suddenly, the desperation in his heart disappeared and was replaced by rage and hate!
"Natalia... this is our blood vengeance. One of us must die. Just wait for the day when I hold strength when You are the one running While I am the hunter. THIS IS MY PROMISE TO YOU!" Tyndraid promised in his heart.
"Tyndraid I know what you are feeling, but we can't delay anymore. Them dying can't be stopped. I can't match her, not even my Phoenix... Even if all of the ones with Inheritance title joined we can't kill her, she has people like that too. Only you can develop and take her head on."
"I know... let's go, we are heading north."
They quickly ran away between the ones who's fighting, even if Natalia had the best vision, she wouldn't be able to see them.
When they got out, Tyndraid stood in a daze, staring the exit, No knew what he was thinking about, but in his eyes, hate can be seen.
